• Save Illustrator PDF without the hidden layers

  We have about 55cards who all have the same exact text. The titles and the community stand out among the cards. So I did just an AI with the various funds and all of the text as a copy in a layer on top.

  Now, I can just hide each background layer and save as PDF. But even by deselecting preserve editing capabilities, file sizes informed me that it is still including images and backgrounds for all hidden layers. Do a quick test and remove all hidden layers brings the size of the files made considerably.

  I was under the impression that save as a PDF file without editing capabilities are saved what was needed for this particular PDF. It seems I was mistaken. Should I just keep delete layers hidden for each copy?

  Make separate layers for you copy versions, and then hide the layers that you don't want to go in the PDF, and use the settings of this. If it says printing layers, apples to make PDF files...

  

  You must also disable Illustrator capabilities in the record edition of dialogue in your pdf.

  I'm building a site in edge of reflow, I set the conditions of the screen (regions) and I want to show the buttons when the window is 480px wide. When the window goes on 480px wide, I want the buttons disappear. When I put the buttons of div to hidden... it changes in all regions (I press the button 'apply the property of all regions'). Then it won't let me choose the hidden div to go back to visible.

  Sure thing.

  So two things. Regions in cascade from right to left, note the arrows on the headers of the region.  So if you make a change in the area of 800px for example apply in this region and across to the left of it. So in this case, you must apply the display any style in the default region and apply visibility right most area you want visible. It will be visible for the smaller regions too.

  The best way to search for hidden areas and toggle the or select them using the assets Panel at the bottom left. Enable/disable just the eyeball.

  Let's see if that helps. Carefully read the entire thread because I don't think that Adobe Photoshop is the cause. It's a problem Epson-Apple Photoshop reset did not solve the problem.

  Today upgraded to photoshop 2015,

  In my work, I use a lot of pen / combined with normal layers of shape layers

  Normally I use the path Selection tool to select my layers of path, but since the new update

  I must be missing something.  In Adobe Illustrator, when you select a layer (or Sub-layer) to copy, is it possible to copy only visible layers and not those hidden?

  When I provide my clients with their final illustrator files, I only want to register the approved artwork.  Currently, I make a copy of the file and go through and delete hidden files, it would be much easier to copy and paste in place visible layers in an Adobe illustrator file.

  Given that your items are grouped, select objects on the artboard should be as effective as Select layers in the layer panel.

  You will not be able to resolve this layer-selection-irritation. Happened for some versions. You might consider to report it as a bug.

  It should be fast. Try resetting your preferences of the ID of user with all the tools of Photoshop Photoshop.  If you don't know what causes the problem your having with CS6.

• Automatic selection in Photoshop CC selects the layers locked or hidden groups

  I can't be the only person who thinks that it is the nut that when ' automatic selection > layers are selected and drag to select a bunch of layers, I also select the layers that are turned off or locked, what I can?

  I just confirmed that this IS not the case with CS6 - locked or hidden layers are not selected on drag to select the exposed layers.

  is this a bug or some new features that I'm a failure to grasp? I noticed that in CC, on the right click is the new option to 'isolate the layers', but this seems just to isolate and to clean up the layers in the layers panel.

• Hidden layers Guide vs layers

  I often have things on a layer that I don't want to see while I'm working on another layer and often test and refine and I used to have just the ones hidden in the timeline panel and they would issue. And if I didn't have a layer of post, I would like to make a guide. In CS3, it seems that these hidden layers do not publish (although sometimes I had publish them for me on some issues, but I don't know why).

  In the publication settings you can select 'export hidden layers', I find myself doing the same thing you're used... lol. ID hide layers and forget that I chose to not export hidden layers and think that I broke something.

  Hi siham

  Press the Windows Logo key + E to open Windows Explorer.

  Click the organize button, select the folder and Search Options. Click the view tab.

  Select the option Show hidden files folders and drives . Click apply/OK.

  Back on the Office, click on the hidden folder and restores the changes made.

  Once the folder is reaffiche, go to Windows Explorer and select the option hide drives, folders and hidden files .

• Impossible to select the preset to Clipboard.

  In Photoshop CS6, for some reason, I can't select the preset "Clipboard". When I go to file > new, it automatically puts the "custom" preset "Clipboard" is grayed out and cannot be selected. That happened today when I saved an image a reopened the Photoshop, I couldn't select the preset "Clipboard".

  Probably because you don't have an image on the Clipboard. Hit Print Screen/print screen and try to make a new document in Ps again.

  My site has hidden layers that work with the navigation bar links so that you can show different iframes in the same window from a page. The spectacle of iframes in the hidden layers that appear when you click their corresponding nav tab.
  The problem is that, once you click on one of the links nav side to show a layer, they will disappear when you hover over one of the navigation bars above which use the same extension to make a drop down menu,

  your approach is wrong. If you use an iframe, there is no point in using layers to hide the
  IFRAMES. iFrames are supposed to load different content depending on what you click on in the home page.
  Instead of hide layers, you must just have a visible iframe and load different content
  addressing this unique iframe when you click navigation.

  Then, your problem will be eliminated. But if you do want to, the problem you describe
  is probably due to the fact that you use the same id or a variable name in the function call to
  show - hide layers in the menu and the layers that contain iframes.
  Review your code. Look at the javascript code that is attached to your links, and you will find the answer.

  Yes.  For example, do a select all or a selection of the area.  Target a layer you want to align to that and use the menu layer > alignment of layers to the selection > location...

  Use this menu twice to align layers to one of the nine positions og a Baseboard of tick tack are the selection.

  Layer > align layers to selection > Center Horizontal...

  If you select a group of layers that are linked, I would expect that center of the layers in the Group would be at the center of the canvas.  However, I'm not crazy about this criterion, it would be easy to test try it. You may only need to select the layer you want on the center of that all linked layers should move with the alignment.

  But I don't know what you mean by a data merge. Do you mean merge down or merge layers.
