  Always the same question on 8 January 2015. Windows Movie Maker produces video files in 16 / 9, but Windows DVD Maker that requires to 4:3 when burning a DVD, regardless of the settings.

  Again, I tried severale time and again on April 24, 2015, the ratio has to be 4:3!

  I found the solution... very simple and it will work every time. before you burn the DVD with windows DVD creation, make sure you 'exit' your video to mpeg2 format, no matter what software you use to edit your videos, make sure you "output" your finished video in MPEG2 before burning with windows DVD maker

  MPEG2 is a DVD format that windows DVD maker recognizes and so it will burn your video ratio 16.9 this video will play on any DVD player. AVI WMV formats won't work even if you copy with movie maker then MPEG2... This is the key ~ MPEG2 ~ that's the secret.

  Unfortunately, Movie Maker stores projects only as MPEG-4 (.mp4) or Windows Media Video (.wmv).

  I have a creative cloud subscription and I installed Photoshop and Illustrator. Illustrator works fine, but when I run Photoshop it asks me to put the licensed software. I connect with my Adobe ID, but then it tells me to enter a serial number. I tried reinstalling etc, it does not help.

  The solution: Download Photoshop in English outside Creative Cloud App Manager. I downloaded it earlier in my mother tongue (Norwegian), inside the CC App Manager, and it wouldn't let me Photoshop license. Download in English outside the ACPC, it worked fine.

  I searched and searched through the entire interweb, but almost no one seems to have never had such a problem, so I think it is the right place to ask and hope to be helped . Short version is: Photoshop CS5 (x 64) is constantly crashing when you change a layer style.

  Recently, I installed my CS5 Design Premium on a new laptop (Fujitsu Lifebook AH351) and I have serious problems with Photoshop CS5. On the first run, everything was fine, and he keep like this for a while. Now every time I try to edit a layer style Photoshop crashes immediately. I did not need to change anything, just open the layer style, press OK and Photoshop has disappeared. I can work around by resetting the preferences that works until the next reboot, no matter if I change anything on the settings or not. Tried this on the initial version of the PS and the last update (12.0.4). Once I have reset settings yet, I can work again on the layer styles. Any of you have a similar problem or an allusion to what I could look at?

  The Lifebook has of a decent feature which I think somehow the culprit in this case: it has an on-board graphics unit and a separate GPU (nVidia GForce GT 525 M) that can be added in on a program basis. Indeed, Photoshop recognizes and allows me to enable the OpenGL functions as well, so from there, it seems. The internal GPU cannot be disabled because connect you your monitors.

  WindowBlinds was probably to blame.  It's a bad app that changes the window settings and made generally bad things for the environment of the user interface to achieve a different look.

  There may be more options for things you can do (bad) to Windows, such as the screws of the metric of the display with the software from StarDock, simply because Windows is more popular - but if you don't about frivolous things with your system it can be as clean and steady work as a Mac system , if not better.  Mac have many of their own problems.

  I bought Photoshop CS5 with an online retailer. When it arrived, I was surprised because they upgraded me CS4 CS5.

  I installed it on a great machine running windows 7, since the upgrade to windows 8. It was several years ago.

  I recently bought a new laptop, running windows 10. And I decided to move the old machine to the new Photoshop.

  On the PC, I suspended the activation and before you run the installation on the laptop.

  Install agreed the KEY, but when running - I'm invited to the key. When I enter the key, I get a warning message.

  There is another option on the old PC and it is to deactivate the system. But im worried now that I will not be able to activate it on the laptop.

  Any thoughts?

  I'm not 100% clear on what you're saying... you have a COMPLETE CS4 and CS5 UPGRADE so you must enter CS4 serial number during the installation of CS5, or you have only a full CS5?

  An idea that MAY work to install or run some programs in Windows 10 old... works for some, not for others

I installed photoshop using the disk on my PC after that first of all, I bought the product and I'm now trying to set up on my new mac. However, the Setup program will not open on my mac because when I click on "set - up.exe" it says that my mac cannot open this type of file - which makes sense because I know that if I install on a mac, it should say 'install.app' on the file I'm supposed to open. This leads me to assume that I bought the product to download on a PC instead of a mac, I thought wouldn't matter because I know that you can download the installation program from cs5 photoshop on the adobe Web site, then I can just post my previous purchase of photoshop cs5 using serial number. However, when I download the installer from the website, open the "Adobe Photoshop cs5" file, and then click 'Install', I get an error message which reads "'Install' is corrupted and cannot be opened. You must eject the disk image. "as shown below.

  You do not put diesel in a petrol car, and you can't install Windows on a Mac programs... unless you want to install http://www.parallels.com/ "emulator" on your Mac to run Windows programs

  At least that the documentation provided with your Windows disk explicitly says that you have a serial number that works also for a Mac version, download the Mac to install it won't hurt, because your serial number does not work

  And there is the problem of the old software on a new Mac... read below... which, as I said above, won't help you with a serial number of Windows
