PhotoShop CS6 will not save the Image in JPEG format
I'm using Photoshop CS6. I photomerged 40 photos together, but when I try to save him, it gives me three options, psd, tiff, raw. Im trying to save it as a JPEG file, but it won't give me this option, please help!
You should Image > duplicate this file to make a copy, then use the command layer > Flatten Image on the copy. Then save as a Jpeg.
JPEG does not support layers or 32 bits per layer images, so it should be changed to 8 or 16 bpc through Image > Mode or Jpeg will not be an option.
Unless you may not really need, keep your Photomerge layers original as a PSD in case you need to go back and fix anything.

Hello
I recently reinstalled my laptop (64-bit) Windows 7 Pro. It has all the necessary Windows updates.
I installed Photoshop CS6 (64 and 32-bit) and I've installed all the updates it needs.
It will not open any JPG or RAW, .tif, .jpg, .dng and .cr2 files. Before you reinstall Windows Photoshop worked well.
When I try to open an image file that Photoshop does not open, so the file type is associated with Photoshop, but that's all. The software is running, but it won't open the jpg or tif, and it does not open Camera Raw to display the RAW file.
If I double-click on a new image, then a new instance of Photoshop is open, in addition to the already open instance, but still no picture.
If I click file-open and navigate to the file it will then open in Photoshop and Camera Raw 9.1.1 and the picture shows successfully.
Strange!
The only thing I think currently, is that I have 2 partitions on the laptop, with C: and a D: readers, with the users folder, which is held on D. Photoshop is confused by there? Well it is exactly how the laptop has always been in place, and it was already defined in this way before Photoshop has been installed.
I tried to uninstall and reinstall. I tried to install just Photoshop 64 Bit, not 32 bit (I don't really know why I get the two offered, to be honest.)
I am now lost and would like to receive helpful suggestions!
I "solved" this problem!
It seems that Photoshop won't open these files from a Windows 7 'Library' that points to a redirected folder.
However, if I create a mapped drive with a drive letter local, the actual path of the files, (for example \\Server\FolderRedirections\Michael\Pictures), then it works OK.
It is a good work-round and it makes no difference to me if I use a mapped drive or library I put just one correct, in the section 'Favorites' from Windows Explorer.
Thanks for the suggestions guys, that helped me a lot. I hope this answer helps someone else, even if my situation may not be a common scenario.

Photoshop CS6 will not open the Raw of Nikon D4s files
When I try to open a Nikon D4s raw files, I get the following error message: "Could not complete your request because the file format module cannot parse the file." How can I fix it?
I am running:
Extended CS6 v13.0.1 x 64
Camera Raw v9.1.1.461
Windows 7
OK, so eliminating it, unless you want to see if the fix would be helpful. Duplicate one of your ships and see.

The solution came to me when I could not recreate

Photoshop will not save the two layers of my doc. Both are visible, cannot merge, cannot flatten, cannot be saved in jpeg or tif. What I am doing wrong? How should I do? How to save my document?
Hi micheleh,
Try resetting the PS preferences
- To restore preferences quickly by using a keyboard shortcut: press and hold Alt + Ctrl + Shift (Windows) or Option + command + shift (Mac OS) when you start Photoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings. New preferences files are created the next time you start Photoshop.

Photoshop cs6 does not, on the contrary, I get a pop up window to subscribe to the complete composition of creative cloud. I tried opening with its .exe file, go to Lightroom and opening an image from there. Without success. The darn popup window just trying to sell me a subscription to the cc. I'm desperate. I need my old cs6. someone know the answer
I ran into this before. Click "buy this product" on the trial countdown screen.
Identifies you if requested with your Adobe ID and password the cloud is an option for those who do not have a license serial number. It is not mandatory.
Then, look for the option "I have a serial number.
And from there and activate. Your trial period should convert Photoshop Standard or extended according to the serial number.
If you still have problems made me know.

You can try to connect to the Root user account and then run the cleanup tool and then check.

At first my documents were pasted on the CMYK color mode, and I couldn't understand how to convert the file in RGB.
Finally, I abandoned, saved the file and tried to present what I was working on a Web site.
Before that, I closed photoshop and he raised 2 times in a row to test color on profiles. When finally it seemed to me he decided to go back to RGB, I closed and returned to climb my image. However, the site did not accept it because the jpg was in CMYK. So, I went to relaunch photoshop to convert its color profile and now photoshop will not launch.
As a first step, it got stuck on "checking memory."
I closed my computer to see if this would clearly be the question, then tried to restart photoshop and it is now stuck on "initializing".
I really need photoshop work, so how can I solve this problem?
Laptop: The Retina of Macbook Pro screen
OS: OSX 10.11.3 EL Capitan
PS: Adobe Photoshop CS6
It is the first time that I ever had this problem, and I've had this program for 2012.
Hi shiblets,
Please press the home button on the keyboard when you see the screen "initializing".
If it does not, please press the SHIFT key and then launch Photoshop, to ignore the third party Plugin.
Kind regards
