  Adobe Photoshop elements 12-editor no longer works on my Mac Pro, Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 running. I don't know why, because Photoshop Elements has always worked properly before today.

  I bought Photoshop elements 12 Publisher from the Mac App Store. The application has been downloaded and marked as installed.

  When I try to open the application, I get an error message and PSE does not open.

  I installed on a MacBook Pro running the latest OS X 10.9.2.

  The laptop has a 64 bit CPU Core 2 Duo with 4 GB of RAM and a lot of free space on the disk.

  The error message I get is:

  "Adobe Photoshop elements than 12 editor does not open due to a problem.

  "Check with the developer to ensure that Adobe Photoshop elements 12 editor works with this version of Mac OS X." You may need to reinstall the application. «Don't forget to install the updates that are available for the application and OS X.»

  I tried to re - install the app via the App Store. However, after having to pay a second time for an application that does not work on my Mac, I did not so.

  Does anyone have any ideas as to what can happen and how to solve this problem?

  Well, it turns out, it seems that I was right.  I just received confirmation in the family Custom Photoshop community thread that I started that in fact Photoshop Elements does not work on a case-sensitive volume.  If you have a case-sensitive volume, it is also your problem.  So, I'm leaving for the Mac App Store to see about a refund.  Wish me good luck.

• I have an iMac and I can't open my PhotoshopElements 12 editing software.  It is said that Photoshop elements 12 editor quit unexpectedly.

  I finally found the solution:

  Solution: Clean up damaged files and reinstall your app

  Resolve the error and to editor elements of Photoshop or Adobe Premiere elements Editor to start are a two-step process:

  1. Records of cleaning:
     1. On the tab or a window of Finder, click go > go to folder.
     2. Type ~/library/conteneurs and click OK.
     3. Search for all records that contain the word adobe in their names and delete them.
     4. On the tab or a window of Finder, click go > go to folder.
     5. Containers of type ~/library/group and click OK.
     6. Looking for a folder named JQ525L2MZD.pepe.
     7. {Be careful when performing this step} In the folder: JQ525L2MZD.pepe:
        • Do NOT delete records: JQ525L2MZD.pepe/Application Support/Adobe/Elements Organizer/catalogs.
        • Delete: another record above, delete all other files and folders inside JQ525L2MZD.pepe.
  2. Reinstall the software:
     1. Uninstall your software from the elements and make sure that the application is no longer available.
     2. Clear your computer's trash.
     3. Restart your Mac.
     4. Reinstall your app from the Mac App Store.
     5. Start your application.

  You open the image directly from iPhoto? Right-click and choose Edit in > Photoshop elements Editor

  This link is old, but gives information on the tray upward. Respect to the PSE11, but the principle remains the same. In iPhoto prefs you access at the request of the editor in the support files folder. Start from the Finder by holding the Alt (Optn key) key and choosing the library.

  Try this

  1. close the elements.

  2. launch Photoshop elements welcome screen and hold the key ctrl + alt + shift when you click on the editor.

  3. continue to press the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete the settings for Photoshop Elements; Click Yes. Items will be open with the default preferences.

  This is a known bug in LR4. Try reinstalling PSE10.

• Impossible to launch Photoshop Elements 8 Editor

  OK, so I just downloaded the demo version of this program in the hope of getting a good look at what would buy $ 80. I can look at photos in the Organizer, but as soon as I try and open the editor, Windows tells me that it has stopped responding and ias solution. No luck as of yet on the fix and everything I have now is a well designed image viewer.

  I'm adding Windows visited family Priemiun (64-bit). I've been looking at the posts and cannot find anything close to my problem. Anyone have any ideas? I uninstalled and it even redownloaded again install problem.  Thank you.

  Thought that my problem - Adobe gave me a download of elements of Prime Minister instead of Photoshop Elements 8 - I have re-directed the download and this time got the right software.  So far, everything seems fine.

• I've recently upgraded to El Capitan of Lion.  My iPhoto library is also transformed into Photos.  In iPhoto, I used Photoshop as my editor in Chief of "standard / default.  I can't do that to work with Photos, all I can't get is the photo editor.

  I've recently updated to Lion at El Capitan and my library of more than 40 000 iPhoto was also improved (?) photo.  He ran all night.  I used Photoshop as my editor of "standard/default" in iPhoto, but now I can't seem to appear in the photo is the photo editor, which is not enough for my purposes.  I have found a workaround that requires images to export], edited and then re-imported to the Photos, but I lose all the original images.  Can I have Photoshop become my default editor for Photos, as if it was in iPhoto?

  This has happened on several devices, "IMac" the same day.  Nothing new added to the devices.

  Program bought on Apple App store, Apple contacted, they said that this is something that Adobe has made the program, try to contact them.

  «I have deleted items, emptied the trash, disconnected from the App Store, restarted the computer, signed in to the App Store, then downloaded the elements.»  Apple has had problems with security certificate expired affecting all applications downloaded from the Mac App Store. »

• Photoshop elements 11 editor has stopped working message

  Installed PES 11. Operating system is Windows 7.  Shortly worked ok then got message "PES 11 has stopped working".  I try to open the file of Orginizer in the Expert editor and only a screen empty now.  Tried all three ways to open in the editor.  (Works fine in PSE 9).  What other information do you need to fix this?  This is the second time that this has happened.  The first time I think that he corrected with any action on my part.
