  Does not open my encrypted file and the key is lost.  I did it in windows 7 and my system crashed.  I then restoed operating system, then my encrypted file does not open and the key file is on the same partition and also, he was gone.  It of a personal record and is very important and punch.  I tried to take possession of the file and that did not work I was wondering if there is a tool or method which can decrypt the file.  I know that their around the key file, or if there is a way to get the certificate...   It's actually an executable file which probably opens a file or a zipped folder.

  If the procedures described above do not (or if you prefer another alternative), download the free 7 - Zip at: http://www.7-zip.org/ and install it and use it to open the zip file.  This should probably fix the problem.

  Let me know what happens if you copy files from the USB on your desktop, then open it in Reader.

  If the error persists, then try to disable the Protected Mode under ' Edit > Preferences > (protection) "and see if that helps.

• HTML file does not open

  Have a weird problem today.

  We use RoboHelp 5 to work.

  I opened a project help today and when I tried to open an HTML file, be it in the project manager, TOC, right click on a file and clicking Edition, the file does not open. He can't see in WYSIWYG or real Code.

  I tried with several different aid project and had the same problem. My boss had the same problem after only a few years back and rebooted just to make it work. I tried, but it did not help.

  Yesterday, everything was fine.

  If you can help me with this, it's greatly appreciated!

  I have recently installed windows 8.1 and so I had to reinstall Photoshop CS5.1. After doing so, I find that Photoshop does not open my NEF in Nikon D800 files.   You need to update is the Camera Raw plugin in Photoshop (ACR). Reinstall Photoshop returns to ACR the retail version.

  Running XP Pro on a computer Satellite Pro U200, I have installed Norton Ghost 10 (after a lot of difficulties that I had to uninstall Norton anti-siphoning I've ever used on the machine).

  Subsequently the 'My Safe' folder does not open. Normally when double clicking it asks a fingerprint or a backup password but now it shows just an hourglass for a millisecond and then's there!

  may I ask what 'secure record' this is? This file has been accidentally created by Norton Protection System?
  So you have this fingerprint software which manages your fingerprint and your access in the system, etc., etc... ; have you checked if something in this software changed?
  A trial might reconfigure these programs.

• Camera Raw in Adobe files does not open

  I get this message on my Mac when I try to open the downloaded files from my camera CR2: "The plugin Photoshop Camera Raw did not recognize the format of one or more files." Some files can be opened in Adobe Bridge, but not others.  All can not be opened in Quick Look.  I have not knowingly changed no settings, my camera or software.  Any ideas?

  Try to restore your InDesign preferences:

  Garbage, replace, reset or restore the application's preferences

  If this does not work, you can use app creative cloud for InDesign to uninstall, and then reinstall it again.

  You can download the free DNG Converter. Otehrwise indeed upgrade to a newer version of Ps is your only option if you want to open them directly.
