  A week ago my Photoshop Elements began to break up when I select the text tool.

  Sometimes problems PSE to make it out no reason apparent and which are not fixed by the reset tool. In this case, it might be that the preferences file is corrupted.

  To restore this file in PES 11 and later versions: Edit > preferences > general and click on "Preferences of Reset on the next launch.

  I know that this problem was supposed to be solved with a previous update, but I use Muse with Mac OS Mavericks and I can't select a text without freezing Muse box. Other functions seem to work, such as place images and downloading via FTP Muse publishing. Anyone know how to fix this? Thank you. JimK

  Muse is simply suspended without any error message? Looks like we will need to take a look at your file and try to reproduce and diagnose the shot.

  As I said, you must use the paragraph type you want to use the justification options, no pointer type. And no, this isn't how the paragraph Panel should look like.

• Could not complete your request because the program error when trying to set the text on a path

  I'm putting the text on a curve and when I click with the text tool on the way I get this error message "can not complete you request because of a program error."  Photoshop CC 2014 on Win 7 with 32 GB RAM machine.  Never had this problem before!

  'Could not initialize Photoshop because of a program error' is a generic error and means something unexpected.

  See the PSErrorLog.txt file in your folder of Photoshop CS5 preferences (C:\Users\> \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2014\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 Settings CC). Which could give us an idea what goes wrong. In case you are not able to understand it, please copy and paste here.

  I just uninstalled and reinstalled my copy of Photoshop CS6

  I find now I can't use the TEXT TOOL - I get the following error message:-Adobe Photoshop CS6 could not complete your request because something prevented the text engine being initialized.

• Photoshop CS5.1 64 bit crash, usually after using the text tool.

  I tried to update and roll back my graphics driver, I checked my swap file (because my SSD uses Samsung magician, and I found a few posts a few years ago which suggested that might be the problem), but I can't understand this.

  Other Production Premium CS5.5 programs seem to work perfectly, and only Photoshop is having issues.  I tried to reinstall (in which case a vital file has been damaged or missing).  Photoshop displays all errors of himself, he just died.

  I can change the images, and do everything, except using the text tool,

• The text tool does not work in Photoshop CC

  When I try to use the text tool, that it does nothing when I type even if the font size is 12, and the color is black on a white background, and then when I try to get out of the text tool a progress bar will appear that says "Record type" and the progress bar does not until 15 minutes later. After that, no text shows. I tried to move the text tool above where I have used it previously, and the cursor doesn't detect any text in the box.

  -Try to remove everything except a font on the Mac and keep the rest in another folder.

  Now the police only that I have in my folder of Mac fonts is Arial.ttf

  I did all these things, and the problem still occurs. All other tools works fine for me! I need to use photoshop for graphics work, I need to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  I found the problem! When I pressed 'File' > 'New' to make a new document, I typed in the 1000, but I'm used to the measures in pixels, not inches. The new facility was in inches lol. The Web was gigantic! Once I put it to a smaller size that the text tool worked great! I feel stupid, I over looked that.
