Photoshop will close not (mac).

    I have Photoshop CS6 installed on my computer and it worked very well. I also had Photoshop CC downloaded for a work about a year ago, but it was not something weird. A week before, every time I try to open CS6 it tries automatically to open CC and since I don't have an active account, it will not open at all.     Creative cloud said that Photoshop is up-to-date even if 2015.0 version.

    I tried signing off CC and uninstalling Photoshop, Lightroom, and CC Desktop, restart and then reinstall all of Adobe.com, but Photoshop is still the previous version.

    Lightroom updated to the latest version, but I can't seem to get the 2015.1 Photoshop version. I use Windows Pro 8.1.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Adobe will not validate serial numbers that gave me to Photoshop CS6 extended on Mac.  What should I do?  Call does not work as I am deaf and I couldn't find any solution on the internet for this.  I tried offline option and also reinstall programs, but these two would not yet validate the Adobe serial numbers give me.  Any ideas?

    Close all Adobe applications.

    (1) right-click on the icon in the Finder and select ""Go - To Folder " option."
    (2) you will get a text box, type in the following command, and then press the 'Enter'.

    (3) then navigate to Application Support > Adobe

    Right-click on the Adobe folder and select ""GetInfo ' option. "

    Expand the sharing & permissions section.

    Click on the padlock icon in the lower corner on the right. Enter your administrator user name and password when you are prompted, and then click OK.

    Please click on '+' symbol, it will open the list of user accounts. Add currently logged in username and administrator option,

    Then indicate ""& read/write " permission currently logged in username and Administrator option."

    Make sure the two currently logged in user name and administrator user accounts have read and write access.

    Important step : click the gear icon and select apply to closed. Close the dialog box information .

    [ Once we provide all permissions to the Adobe folder and select apply to included items options, access "Read and write" apply for all subfolders and files inside, the two Adobe PCD and SLStore files will be present inside the Adobe files and gets all permissions ]

    Then, launch Photoshop and verify.

    Try resetting the PS preferences

    • To restore preferences quickly by using a keyboard shortcut: press and hold Alt + Ctrl + Shift (Windows) or Option + command + shift (Mac OS) when you start Photoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings. New preferences files are created the next time you start Photoshop.

  • Just finished a clean install of Photoshop CS6 on my Mac Book Pro Yosemite and Adobe Application Manager does not and cannot install a new copy of Adobe

    Just re-installed a fresh copy of Photoshop CS6 on my Mac Book Pro Yosemite and somehow the Adobe Application Manager does not work and so can't check my copy.  What should I do?

    I get a message saying that Adobe Application Manager can be damaged and that I should install a new version of the MAA.  But after downloading a new copy of MAA and makes installation, the program (AAM) will still not installed.  It's like an infinite loop!

    I'm sorry but I'm not on creative cloud.  I'm still on CS6 and it was Adobe Application Manager was not working and I could not install the update to this application.  My AAM version is: 8.0.0160

    The link you provided was the update I wanted to install but it does not work.  A window will appear during the installation that says:

    We encountered the following problems.

    Setup could not initialize.  Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem.

    and then the link to Adobe Support Advisor that leads to a page "Adobe Support Advisor has been abandoned".
