  My printer had been printing 4/6 photos properly until recently, cannot identify all changes made to the computer or software.  Win XP computer using the Photo & Imaging HP software provided with the printer.

  Thanks for your help.  I downloaded and reintall the Photosmart but software that does not solve the problem.  I had the same problem on my desktop and portable computers.  I rebooted the Photosmart on the laptop software and still had the problem.  On both computers, I used HP Photo & Imaging Software version 1.1 that came with the printer.  I tried printing the photos 4 x 6 on the laptop using the software provided with Windows and it printed OK.  I then tried printing on the desktop (which I had not reinstalled the Photosmart software), and also print 4 x 6 photos correctly.  So I think that the problem was in the HP Imaging software and not with the printer or the printer software.

AND ALWAYS MY PICTURES ARE PRINTING OUT at 3.7X5.2... How to fix this? like really solve this problem?

  So you say that you have a border of 1/4 inch around the photos of 4 x 6.

  You select the checkbox no margins for the release, and it still does not work?

  How did you install the printer on your Windows 10 machine?

  To print from what application are you using?

  If you have installed the drivers yourself, I uninstall them completely and download the full Set featured from the link below and reinstall.

  PS: It would be unnecessary to completely stop the other paper size options to get the size from 4 x 6 to work.

  You want to disable automatic session opening, which may be why it behaves in this way.

  Go to System Preferences

  Go to security

  Under "for all accounts on this computer", place a check mark next to 'turn off automatic connection.

  Some of my photos Print OK on paper HP Advanced, but in some cases (well, one in particular) that part of the image is printed.  The amount of the picture that prints varies each time, but in all cases, the document presented by the photo tray is followed by a bunch of jumbled nonsense that prints on plain A4 paper.  You can see in the attached picture.

  How is the printer connected?  The problem you are experiencing seems to be a problem of communication between the computer and the printer.  If the printer is connected by a wireless LAN in the here document troubleshooting steps can help.  Print HP and the doctor http://www.hp.com/go/tools Scan may also help to identify interference problems.

  The fact that the problem occur at different places on the sons of page believe me it not related to the image or how it was edited.  It might be interesting to save the image to a memory card and that plug directly into the printer and try to print from there.

  Windows7 does not recognize the newly installed software & more like another package: "HPPhotosmartEssentials.msi", which he says he can't find.

  Instruction was also found on the HP Web site: "Locate & install the .msi file is missing file in the Temp of your computer folder", but there is no msi file in the Temp folder (download goes to the downloads folder).

  Please response ASAP - I cannot USE MY PHOTOSMART2575 MORE scanning DOCUMENTS and have lost DAYS on this - making circles in the round...

  Sorry to say your advice has not solved my problem - but received a phone call the week last of Henry of HP at Gateshead (n. of England) support.

  After 4 hours or more (he missed his lunch...!) firmly on the phone and computer being "picked up" remote, it has removed HP all THE files on my computer (HP Mini) and then reloaded OLD original software for 2575 with updates,... Finally got all-in-one scan with the HP Mini success - so big thanks to Henry at Gateshead for his help there... :-)

  Thanks to their participation in Forums of HP! I see by your post that the complete documents are not printing from different applications. I will definitely do my best to help you.

  Try a self-test printing material in order to exclude a hardware problem: print a Network Configuration Page.

  If you haven't already done so, repair the permissions of the drive on the Mac:

  • Repair disk permissions:

    • Click on your desktop so that it is written next to the Apple Finder icon, and then click Go (you'll see it next to the Finder after file, edit and view).

    • In the context of Go, click Applications.

    • In Applications, select utilities.

    • In the Utilities folder, you will see the disk utility, double-click on this icon to open the disc utilities.

    • Click on your hard drive, and then click first aid. Click Run to allow it to run.

  Reset the printing system:

  Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer deleted can be re-added later by clicking the sign plus (+) symbol.

  Click on the Apple icon and then click on System Preferences.

  Click on Printers & Scanners.

  Make a right click (or Ctrl + click) in the left white side panel, and then click Reset printing system.

  Click OK to confirm the reset.

  Type the name and the correct password.

  Click OK to reset the printing system.

  Then click on the sign to add the driver, highlight the printer +. (you may need to click the drop down menu to select the name of the printer) Then click the Add button.

  Let me know how recorded the name of the printer in the Printers & Scanners window.

• I've recently updated to Mac OS x 10.6.8. Now, my HP Photosmart C6280 print only on one side.

  I did a duplex for years, and it's actually one of the features of the printer that I use most often.  It's very upsetting to access this feature disappear.

  I went to < system="" preferences="" print="" options&supplies="" driver=""> > and titled "HP" accessory of double-sided (duplexer) printing is checked.

  I unchecked it and closed, then reopened and checked system preferences box of printing double-sided again.  No change.

  I have restarted the computer - no change.

  Simply the "duplex printing" option does not appear in the print dialog box.

  My update of the Apple software is up-to-date.

  What should I do?

  I found another post on this forum, on scanning not working not not under Snow Leopard ("MacBook Pro Snow Leopard OS HP C4280 not sweeping").  There was a response from a staff member of HP who introduced me to the "washer".  I've "cleaned" all HP applications, then re-installed Apple (not HP) and - to my great relief - duplex printing control finally appeared in the print dialog box.  I have now printed both sides successfully, and the case is resolved.

  I have a two-sided 4-page document. I have placer place in autonatic tray, select Copy 2 head to head 2 and press "Black." All pages are scanned, but only one page (2 sides), one out. I expect all 4 pages 2 faces out. What's wrong?

  You are right. This printer does not the ADF duplex scan. It will print a copy of the 2 sides but the face page of the first page front and back on the face of the first page printed copy pages and page of the face of the second duplex page on the back of the first page printed from copy. What a waste. Well, I need now to decide if I want to keep this printer or send it back since it's the LPB brand.

  I have a HP Photosmart C4780, which works great on USB, but only print via a wireless connection.  This model may be able to analysis via the wifi connection?  I have an IBM T23 running Windows XP SP3 with all updates.  I see the CD-ROM driver I have is version 14.1.0 which is the latest version online also.  I missed something in the installation that makes possible the wifi connected to scan?  I saw a USB connection through the room, when I want to scan anything.

• Photosmart B110e: Photosmart B110e print only in black after reset

  Because one of the rolls were filled with black color and then influenced the paper with the black dye, I decided to disassemble the machine to the roller cleaning and cleaning mechanism on the right side.   You may need a full set of cartridges of installation, or a new printhead. In my view, that a new printhead comes with cartridges installation, but honestly, if I were in your position, I would consider a newer printer. If you call us, we may be able to offer a discount on a newer model.   Microsoft Word does not print.  Alternated program print very well.  I reloaded Word and print driver for my printer.  How can I get Word to print?

  Looks like the wrong driver is installed. Try to remove and time the printer and check which driver is used.

  Go to system, then print and fax Preferences (print and scan over 10.7), then highlight the printer and go to sign less down to remove it. After that, click on the plus sign to readd it. When you highlight in the list of so that the background box should tell the 6510 print using, if it says something else bad driver is used.

  If this is the case, you have a few options. Try to run an update of the apple software, it can find a printing hp update software, install that, if she does and try to add the printer again. If it still fails to solve, the next option would be to reset the printing system

  To reset printing system go to this window print and fax again and the white box where the printers are listed on the left hold down the CTRL key and click. • HP Photosmart 5514: HP Photosmart "in use with another task' error.

  I'm sure you're all sick to see these questions, but I have not found that a reliable solution among the responses presented anywhere else on the internet.

  I have a printer HP Photosmart 5514, part of the 5510 B111 d e-all-in-one printer series, and it currently only allow me to scan a single document (with multiple pages). I connected via USB, not the network connection. My current operating system is Windows 10, 64-bit. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers several times, using different methods: a part of the HPSolutionsFramework, installation of the manual pilot on its own and even with the method of detection of device HP Support Assistant. I tried the most common answer of "unplug, restart the computer, plug in. I also tried printing HP and doctor Scan to see if there is a driver problem but it clears all controls and nothing seems to be wrong. To be clear, restarted my computer "solve" the problem, even temporarily and no is not a final solution to my problem.

  Explanation of the issue:

  I run the HP Photosmart 5510d series software and click on the button "scan a Photo Document or". When the window opens, I click on "scan document to the file" and proceed to scan my document with however many pages, adding each page I want. When I'm finished, I hit 'save', my backup file and click 'done '. When I proceed to scan another document, hit the button causes nothing happen but one his mistake. When I start printing HP and Scan doctor and trying to do an analysis of test after he tells me that everything is going well, I get the error message:

  "The HP scanning application is currently in use with another task or another user on this computer. Please wait until the other task is finished, and then try again. »

  To be quite clear, there is no other task that I'm aware of in addition to the fact that somehow the software does not seem to let go of the analysis. There are no other users who use the computer outside of me. There is no other hidden running application. I went through the Task Manager to kill all the associated HP process to see if something it stops to run again. The only chance I have is with my computer restarts, but it would be foolish to scan documents of mass and restart after each.

  It worked properly on my other hard drive with the same version of Windows 10 installed on it. 10 Windows installed on a new drive and it does not appear to want to work after 1 document.

  If anyone has a help in this case, it would be greatly appreciated.

  Generally speaking, the reason why you get "the HP scanning application is currently in use with another task or another user on this computer. Please wait until the other task is finished, and then try again. "is because that the network signal is lost the connection and the freezing of the task analysis or the previous scan operation never ended.

  Please, try the steps in these guides:

  • Scan network connection is lost (Windows)
  • "Scan cannot be performed because another program or computer uses the network device" message in Windows when scanning on a wireless network

  TIPS:

  • Move the printer and the router more closely in order to improve the quality of the signal.
  • Change the channel on the router wireless.

  Ensure that your router and firewall do not block these ports.

  • Scanning: The UDP port: 427 TCP ports: 9220, 9500
