Photosmart B109a-m: Scan full page

Anyone know how to force the HP scanner to scan the entire page, and not 'cut' it gives random?

And is it possible to scan multiple pages and save it as a single file?

Hello!
Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope that you are @DennisLaursen89,

You are certainly able to scan an entire document using your Photosmart B109 printer, and also you can scan multiple pages into a single file. To analyze the whole area, you'll need access to Solution Center software on your computer in scanning settings to do. Regarding scanning of multiple pages in a single file, see section of the FAQ in the guide below.

Here is a link to help out you: Scan the computer with (Windows) HP solutions Center

If you have trouble, let me know and I'll do my best to help.

Hit the "accept as Solution" if we reached a solution and the "thumbs up".

to say thank you for my help.

Have a wonderful day

Thank you for using the HP Forums.

Are you using the Scan software after installing the software with FULL?

Otherwise, you can install the FULL features software?

The following resources will help you:

Once you have installed the sfotware FULL of features, start the Scan software.  Follow the settings below to scan your document.

  • B109 scan full page

B109 all-in-one - I just want you scan a document, a page, a form that I filled out and signed and dated, and I need to send a scan of this page. But your "smart" scanning software keeps cutting out the page outside the borders of the shape, so lose the signature. On several occasions. And that is when he is not divided in 3 separate jpg form. I guess that's "help" find me three separate images on the scanner glass, but it is not, is a single * beep * page of the form filled in.

I can't find any "solution Center" option to turn off this shit analysis and treatment. I just want you scan a whole A4 page. How can I disable the shit and get a simple function to scan A4?

    Hello

What is the size of the document? It is bigger than the surface of glass? Analyze menu, you should be able to select the entire glass area and it will scan the entire page IF the page is smaller than the surface of glass.

    Kind regards.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 does not scan full page legal-size

I have seen this question several times in these forums, but solutions do not apply to me - I can not find the applications or the settings or patches do not resolve the problem. I am running Windows 8 32-bit with a HP Officejet Pro 8600. When you scan a legal size document, the entire page is not scan, even when I select a custom size. The bottom is cut roughly where a letter size page would end.

If you respond with a solution, please be very specific, i.e. If you say "Control Panel", you mean the control panel of Windows 8 or the small touch screen of the printer itself? If you want "pull me up to the HP application", please say that the we - there are several installed on this computer, and I've tried them all.

    Thanks in advance...

In fact, the problem was located. I is broke and finally called HP support. It turns out that, contrary to the information that I have seen elsewhere, legal size paper MUST be analysed the ADF, not the dish. You can see a white band across the plateau where the search starts. The dish is physically unable to accommodate legal communication. Once the original is loaded in the ADF, the size of the document options now include legal communication.

  • How do I scan multiple pages using HP PhotoSmart AIO 5512

With Windows 7 64 bit wireless for HP 5512 AIO printer.  Try using the HP software to scan several pages in a single document, but it does not provide options or the possibility to do so.  Is there a switch or a control or something escapes me or do I need a different software?  I could do with my old PhotoSmart Plus (B209A).

    Hello ScooterSim

I understand what you mean. Try to change the resolution to 300 dpi or lower, some printers are unable to analyze multi-page documents to over 300 and it is then hidden.

  • Photosmart 7510 will scan is more than several pages

Until recently, our 7510 Photosmart would provide the ability to scan multiple pages in the scanning area.  Now the test page add does not appear in the scan area.  I do not see anything realted to turning this function on or off.  What has gone wrong?  How should I do?  Thank you.

    Hello

Click on the HP scanning software scan a document or photo and then select scan to PDF.

Be sure to check the option Preview.

Make sure that the resolution is 300 DPI or below, a higher resolution will allow only a single page scanning.

Now, click on the Scan button and check for the difference.

Please let me know if that helps

  • HP Photosmart C309a will scan of the computer (iMac) and scans each page as separate-doc

Help.  Given that I've upgraded to Mac OS x 10.7 will not scan my my all-in-one C309a scanner.  It only scans the computer and each page is a separate scanning.  No idea how I can get it to work like it used to work (and was designed for)?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello

Scan from the front panel is not supported by your device provided with drivers Apple Software Update (for example Image Capture / print & Scan) and not a software HP full feature.

To scan multiple pages into a single PDF file, open picture Capture and don't forget to click on view details if necessary

Once you choose PDF in the format in the settings area, a small box appears which says "combine in A Single Document. don't forget to check this box, and the scans will be saved in a single PDF file.

  • 7280 scans are not full page; cultures software image; Question of TWAIN?

I have a new c7280 on Vista Home ultimate. I downloaded and installed all the drivers and software updates that have been listed for the site of HP C7280. When you try to scan using the web tool (JAVA app to the deposit of cheques online), picture is cropped automatically to the party 'text only' image (the empty part of the image is not sent). I have 'automatic cropping"off in the center of solutions and analysis produced initially a picture full page, but before being sent to the computer, the image is cropped, and that part of the image is sent.  The two following threads describe similar issues, involves a problem of TWAIN driver, but does provide some solutions.

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/PSG/board/message?board.ID=scan&thread.ID=1379

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/PSG/board/message?board.ID=scan&thread.ID=798

The problem unrelated to sizes of large file for the pdf scans is well documented on this site, and the solution is to replace the Solution Center (SC) version 10 with v12 (for c6380).  Indications for this procedure are shown here:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/PSG/board/message?board.ID=scan&message.ID=2307#M2307

Does anyone know if there is a software fix or the solution to my problem of automatic framing of the scanner?

Will install SC v12 for the correct c6380 than this supposed driver TWAIN for the C7280 problem (i.e. SC made v12 difficulty other issues other than the issue of large file size v10?).  Please post similar problems here; I also intend to try the customer service and will post their response here.

Well, I tried customer HP - what a joke. They provided 3 separate solutions, and each was worse than the others. Two of their suggested solutions were things I had already tried and documented in my original request!  I am shocked by client it's terrible to HP support is - a continuous theme this entire Forum.

If, after deletion, with the HP customer support, I took a chance and installed HP Solution Center Version 12 (SC v12) for HP c6380, and it worked! When parsing using java based web app via Twain, the image is cropped is more. I think I've also solved the "pdf scans have too large file size" problem, but I had not yet known who. " It seems that SCv12 fixes a lot of problems for HP all in those running Vista.

Here is a link for directions:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/PSG/board/message?board.ID=scan&message.ID=2307

    Some additional notes:

    1. I do NOT uninstall all software before you run that 6380 full install profgram

    2. in the installation of new software for C6380, choice for what software to install, etc. have been through hyperlinks in the installation window, vice drag the boxes that were in the C7280 installation program. Minor difference, but I almost missed the opportunity to install only the SC.

    3. my everything on a printer (c7280) is connected via the wireless network. When installing SCv12 via the instructions above, during installation, the program will ask how the printer is connected. Choose "USB" and click the box that says «if you can't connect your device now...» "Installation will be completed, you will need to restart, and when the installation continues after the reboot, it offers you the possibility to add a connection to your desktop icon. You don't need to do this, just to complete the installation, and then open the solution Center, and it will find your printer. Mine is always listed as the c7280.

  • Scan multiple pages to a PDF file on a printer HP PHotosmart 6525

I just bought printer HP PHotosmart 6525 and I can't seem to understand how to create a PDF file of several pages of analysis.

I checked this forum using web and couldn't find the answer.

Once the page is scanned, I gives me an option to save the file. The only other option is "Cancel".  After saving the file, I was able to scan another page, which is saved in a different file. How can I keep other pages of analysis without saving the file?

The parameters of scanning as follows:

    Article type: Document
    Type filey: PDF
The option to save each page in its own file is not checked.

I use my computer HP software. I tried the digitization of the document of the control panel of the pronter with the same results. No possibility to scan several pages.

    I use Win 7/64-bit.

    Hello

Open the HP software and select scan a Document or Photo.

    Select the PDF option.

Be sure to check the preview Scan and set the resolution to 300 DPI or below.

Click Scan and use the pages add to scan additional pages.

Once completed the analysis, click Save.

  • 5514 photosmart e-all-in-one: scan multiple pages into a single PDF document?

How can I scan multiple pages into a single multi-page PDF file?
I saw posted similar questions, but I have not found all the right answers. The Council alone that I saw was to scan each page in a separate PDF document, then merge them into a single PDF using third party software.
Of course, I don't want to do.
I can't believe that there's really no way to do it using the existing HP printing/scanning utilities provided with the hardware.
My printer/scanner is the "HP Photosmart 5514 e-All-in-One Printer - B111h", and I am running Vista (64 bit) on a HP Pavilion laptop.

    Hello

The HP scanning software (start > programs > HP > Photosmart HP 5510 series > HP Scan) select PDF and make sure that the resolution is 300 dpi or less.

Make sure the option Show Scan preview is checked, and click Scan.

Once the first page of scanning is finished, place the next page on the window and click on the button "+" under the scan preview...

Once you are done click Save.
