Photosmart B110: get rid of the drive mapped to Z
My printer Photosmart B110 guard map drive Z every time the printer memory card is turned. It is very annoying and I want to get rid of it! I checked in the windows registry and finds referrences for editing of memory card and the address and all deleted, but whenever the printer reboots they show upward. I JUST want memory mapped to drive Z card! Disk management is also incredibly frustrating because it does not list the drive. This thing is the most resilient, unyielding and persistent thing I've seen in a while. How can I remove it?
"Bill of Exchange assigned in my computer" - how? There is NO way to change the drive letter in my computer! Not right, not what either. The more we can do, is disconnect, and he'll be back. The closest that comes to this opens the computer management console and unassigning drive letters or redirect here, which is not possible for network drives.
I have, after much experimenting, navigate to the key of registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\MULTIFUNCTION\0000\Device settings and change the key of the NetworkCardUNCPath, the removal of its value. I HAD to MODIFY the PERMISSIONS of read-only registry key, so that the wrong driver would cease to fill back in, then put the disc on my computer. After that, he finally stopped Z assignment for the reader!
THIS ISN'T SOMETHING A WAY CUSTOMER SHOULD HAVE TO DO! For the love of pete put something, at least a command console, that a user can call to change or remove this drive letter! It's horrible to have a new disk, pushed down your throat when what you have actually installed was a PRINTER, and for that matter, to be recommended TO BUY an ANOTHER PRINTER if I want the missing drive?
I have a better: how about change you the encoding of the driver? I don't ask for much, if I could do it with a registry tweak, surely you can do on your end without too much effort, too!
I became tired to buy anything these days, be it a camera or a printer, any manufacturer, cause all I want to install is THE PILOT, and they end up grouping another two or three unnecessary programs with it. I went to the HP website for the printer and I got options that I wanted to download. I saw "DRIVER ONLY" and thought, whew that's going to be easy. Instead he ended up doing the worst thing any installer device has ever done for me: he stole me a drive letter.
I will now assign a mapped network to the card reader folder, those who do not use drive letters. Either way, it's something that HP could have done themselves. I can now access the printer without it card reader devours a drive letter, whenever I need it. If all goes well, NEVER!

A better program of disk cleanup is cCleaner. Delete System Restore points may be important if you have little free disk space. The ability to delete them is one of the tools options. You can selectively remove those created in less important moments.
cCleaner comes with a registry tool. Do not use this tool as any registry cleaner could lead to the creation of very difficult to resolve system errors.

I want just a normal audio Manager that's not intentional Equalizer setting screw.
So I contacted support and they had informed me that I had realetk audio driver installed on this computer as the standard installation, but were reluctant to give me instructions on romving it. Waste removal audio beats is easy. Just uninstall the driver from realtek audio of your installed programs and restart the computer. It automatically installs a standard audio driver on its own. Uncdms.dll is now redundant? How to get rid of the error message if so?
I had to reinstall my Wndows XP Media Edition 2 or 3 times so far and the error message appears after each start that ' Windows XP cannot find the uncdms.dll file search, please reload '...» How, if it is not the responsibility of the backup first (and why not?)
The platform of my system is Windows XP Media Edition SP 3 and is up to date.
I'm sorry to hear your story of misfortune. Indeed, you have been the unfortunate victim of a scam.
I have actually seen reports of others who have had the missing uncdms.dll error still could not find Windows Search in Add/Remove programs.
It is not clear what are your XP Media Center "backup disks. You can use these to make a facility 'clean' of Windows (which involves formatting your drive) you probably should do. Of course, you will need to back up all your data (documents, music, photos, etc.) and reinstall applications that were not pre-installed.
Given the history with the applications 'security' and 'Speed Up' (for not to mention being "riddled with viruses"), this is one of those cases where a format and re - install of Windows is certainly justified.
I suspect that, however, that all these discs are, they don't let you do a "clean install". If they did, you would not have seen the persistent uncdms.dll error.
You have a few ways to get the computer to its State 'cost-of-the-factory '?
So... instead of doing a format and a clean install, I see three possible approaches to get rid of the error uncdms.dll:
1. open Add / Remove programs then check the box at the top to 'See the updates'. It is possible that Windows Search is classified as a Windows "update" and will show when these normally hidden entries.
2. download Windows Search using the link in my previous post and install it. Because I've never used Windows Search, I don't know if it will install properly in your case. Malke, which I'm sure expertise said to uninstall before reinstalling, but you can't do that. If it installs correctly the error message will disappear and (b) you will probably be able to uninstall.
3. download, install and run Autoruns. This utility shows practically all items that start at Windows startup. But for the fact that uncdms.dll is known to be associated with Windows Search, this is the solution I would have proposed first.
After Autoruns has finished its scan (it will say "Ready" in the lower left corner), click the 'Connection' tab and look for an entry that is associated with Windows Search. If you do not see Windows Search, look for uncdms.dll in the right column. If you cannot find either of these items, click the "all" tab and use the search tool on the file menu to search for these terms.
If you find an entry for Windows Search and/or uncdms.dll, uncheck the box at the left end of the line. This will prevent the point of trying to start at Windows startup and will make the error to go away.
For question 2, the short answer is no. Uninstall the "Windows security provision.
For question 3, you must provide the full error message. In addition, please identify which application you are currently using as an antivirus, and if his "subscription" is up-to-date. You use other antimalware applications?

Get rid of the file belonging to the outdated domain account
I have a laptop that allows to have a domain account. The account did not exist on the domain for years (and in fact, I did have access to the area for years). On the laptop, I finally migrated the content of the domain account obsolete to a local account, then removed the domain account. However, the domain account also has a large folder tree that resides in the root directory of the C drive. I used a local administrator account to try to remove the folder hierarchy, but it is not allowed. I also tried to use the unix 'chown' to Cygwin for change of recursively to the owner of the local administrator, but who also refused. If not, how can I get rid of this folder?

Windows tried to solve the problem but says have failed, and then I was able to start windows normally. I have not recently (last days) installed anything, but the PC is about 2 weeks old, and I have installed things like an external usb drive, a printer, a flash drive, an mp3 player and a wireless mouse.

Smartphones from blackBerry Desktop Manager "disconnected" and I cannot get rid of the error message
I just bought a Blackberry Curve 8530, running v5 software, my computer is Windows 7. I installed the 501_b073_multilanguage software that I downloaded from the site Web of Blackberry. When I run the Desktop Manager I get this message: "Before you start, check that your current BlackBerry device is connected to your computer." Troubleshooting functions I've seen on this forum: many tips (ones I've tried is below). One in particular, that I can't do is "Office Manager shows"off". ".
-Make sure that the user has entered in the Desktop Manager and select options > connection settings > detect. »... because I can't get rid of the error message dialoge box, and I can't click on the menu options in the BB Desktop Manager.
I tried the following:
- uninstalled and reinstalled twice - 2nd uninstall was a "hard" uninstall where I deleted the registry files by hand
- installs the cable to the USB port at the back (after having tried both ports at the front) of the computer
- rebooted the computer several times
- hard starts the phone by removing the battery
- plugged in, removed and replugged in the phone.
Also:
- The phone is properly install when I plug it in, but the software still does not seem to see it.
- In Device Manager, the BlackBerry appears under portable devices. Double clicking on it gives me the message "this device is working properly." of reassurring.
- The Com1 port is working properly, according to Device Manager.
- A double-click on the icon of the Device Manager to get the properties indicates that the Com1 port is "disconnected" - when I try to set it up, it appears just back to the disconnected state.
If someone has an idea or something that I have not tried, I'd be happy of course!
Thank you!
K
Good, people, after a phone call from 3 1/2 hour with a (very patient) phone support person to Blackberry, here's what I learned.
You can check your drivers USB in this way:
- Plug your phone into your USB key. Assuming that your Blackberry is "seen" by your computer...
- Go into the Device Manager on your computer (Panel)
- Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers at the bottom of the list item
- Right-click on the BlackBerry smartphone, and then select Properties
- Click on the driver tab
- Click the driver Details button
- You should see a driver. I saw two. The one like the BlackBerry is the RimUsb one.
So here's what NOT to do: we threw any driver who has been the "extra". This actually made using my mouse and keyboard cannot, because they are USB and my poor husband has sent in the basement to find a million-year-old keyboard (and mouse) with the old fashioned type of connectors (PS2). Bleh. Don't, don't.
Here's what I did that worked (not saything this will work for you - it changes the registry to a backup system with this backup and restore if you are nervous about this kind of thing):
- On the start menu, choose run and type regedit into the registry editor.
- Follow this path to the file: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SYSTEM, CurrentControlSet, Control, computer, class
- Click: {36FCE60-C465-11CF-8056-4445535400000}
- If there is an article called law "UpperFilters", delete it. (See photos)
Hope this helps someone.

How can I get rid of the e:31.00 error code in my Sony DCR sr68 camcorder
How can I get rid of the e:31.00 error code in my Sony DCR sr68 camcorder
Hello, axel028!
If I'm not mistaken, the E:31:00 error code can occur on hard drive camcorders and indicates there is a format error on the hard disk of the camcorder. A kind of data corruption occurred.
If possible, try to first back up all the data saved on the disk hard camcorder to a computer. It will try to reformat the hard drive in the camcorder.
Try resetting the camcorder. How to reset the camcorder is in this link below:
https://us.en.KB.Sony.com/app/answers/detail/A_ID/39511
If you have tried to reformat the hard drive in the camcorder or you have reset the camera (or both), and the problem is not resolved, then the service may be required.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
Best regards

I work for load data into essbase (11.2.1) using the rule of load. The problem is in the file, I am trying to load the account all have the suffix as: 234_Y. The contour is only 234. Is there an easy way to get rid of the member through load rule account suffix? I hate to map each account in the State of charge.
Thank youCan you not make a replacement / with in the State of charge of this dimension. That is to say. put the FLF in the field replace and let the with empty? (check replace all occurences so perhaps).
I guess it might be time-consuming if there are more combinations suffix as the example you gave.
