Photosmart C3180: Parse error! 8, [(4.0,-2147417851)]

Scanning problem!

I can make copies, but I can't scan!

There is no connection problem...

I have updated software...

I checked with the tool hp applications...

I tried in several PCs...

I have read the HP forums and anyone ever responded in the same error issues

I encounter this error in the two printers all-in-one Deskjet 2050a and C3180!

I hope I can help you with the error scan "8, [(4.0,-2147417851)]" you note on your computers. I have a few in mind thinking about you to start troubleshooting the concern. I would like to answer you to me when you have completed the steps and I would like to know what happened please!

1. uninstall the printer softwarefor the printer Deskjet 2050 a via the Control Panel, and then restart your computer.

2. complete a level 3 Uninstall to uninstall the C3180. There are 2 ways to complete uninstallation, please take the steps appropriate to your situation:

Of the Original installation CD:

1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup

2. open "Computer", and then right click on CD drive and open

3 open the Util folder

4 open the CCC folder

5. run the L3uninstall.exe.

6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup

8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

http://www.Adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads .html

9. open again the temporary folder and delete temporary files

10 download the drivers and full software features: here: all-in-one printer, HP Photosmart C3180

11 start the download to reinstall the printer

12 install the printer Deskjet 2050 here: HP Deskjet 2050 A all-in-One Printer - J510g

If the software has been downloaded and extracted to your system:

1. type % temp % in the field of race

2. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356) (if there is more than one, choose the most recent folder)

3 open the Util folder

4 open the CCC folder

5. run the L3uninstall.exe.

6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup

8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

9. open again the temporary folder and delete temporary files

10 download the drivers and full software features: here: all-in-one printer, HP Photosmart C3180

11 start the download to reinstall the printer

  • Problems with PhotoSmart C3180 Mavericks 10.9.4

    I am (train) print using my Photosmart c3180 on my iMac. I use Mavericks 10.9.4. Whenever I try to print something, it prints about half the page then loses communication (or there is an error of communication). My Apple System Profiler lists the printer using the driver 4.0.4.  It's very frustrating and useless! Any suggestions?

    We will reset the printing system, repair disk permissions, add the printer using the driver and try to start a new search.

    Reset the printing system

    1. Click on the Apple icon ( ), then click on System Preferences.

    I had to reinstall the printer software and updates.

    The printer works now much time printing and scanning, yet when I call the HP Solution Center

    a warning that the unit is unplugged.

    I would like you to go ahead and start printing HP and doctor Scan > www.hp.com/go/tools

    -It has been designed by HP users troubleshooting and problems characteristic needed to solve many common problems encountered with HP print and scan products related to Windows computers.

    What is the PSDR? Do you still see the error message?

    When you upgraded to 8.1 Windows operating system you also update the software and drivers for the C3180 PS?

    Are there Windows updates that must be installed?

    So some time ago my laptop after having been activated, would come with "trayapp.msi Missing."

    Research of my own suggetsed, that it was the printer issues.

    So yesterday, I uninstalled my printer

    This seems to have stopped the next message.

    I thought then to reinstall the software.

    I have a windows 7 64 bit laptop and my printer is HP Photosmart C3180 all in one

    However, on the first step of the installation, the verification system, an error message comes sup saying file missing. And starts the unistalling to what had been installed. However, even on the uninstall, it freezes at the same point and I have to force the program to close.

    I have no idea why this is happening. HP after the error automatically put on my desk of various things, he could be and soloutions. I got them tired any chance of o again.

    I was able to solve the problem by reading the comments of others and came across the solution.

    By turning on the printer press and hold keys # and 3 which resets the printer as a warm reboot. Hold the keys down until the main menu appears on the screen (it took awhile so be patient).

    Return to the Mac and remove and re-add the printer via system preferences > printer and faxes (-/ +). However, there is no need to restart the printer twice until it was added back successfully.

    What Firefox locale (UI language) do you use?

    Try a clean reinstall and delete the program folder before Firefox to (re) install a new copy of the current version of Firefox.

    If possible to uninstall your current version of Firefox to clean the Windows registry and settings in the security software.

    • Do NOT remove the "personal data" when you uninstall your current version of Firefox, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data such as bookmarks and passwords including data profiles created by other versions of Firefox.

    Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

    • (32-bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
    • (Windows 64 bit) "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla.

    Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a uninstall and (re) install, but do NOT delete personal data when you uninstall Firefox which removes all Firefox profile folders and you lose your data.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

    It may be an acceleration addon or material affecting (by making the error).
