Photosmart Premium c309g-m does not print in color

My Photosmart Premium c309g-m stopped printing in color, it only prints black. Both of my computers - laptop with Windows 7 and office with Windows XP.  The ink cartridges are all relatively new and have a lot of ink.  It started yesterday and there is no update for the computer or the priinter since the last time that I printed and got the color.  What should I do?

    2. Turning the power on and the
    3. programs form printing.

    Both black cartridges are full.

    printer is 3 days on 1 year warranty!

    I'm not very technical, so easy solutions would be preferred.

    I have a HP Officejet 6500 has more all in one wireless printer which stopped printing in color.  I changed all three colour cartridges and have uninstalled/reinstalled the printer.  Grayscale is off, but the printer still does not print in color.  Does anyone have an idea of what I can try?

    It is possible, Yes. However, I would recommend calling support since the printer is only 6 months (and should be under warranty).

    Whenever I try to print anything from a Web page or save the file, it only prints in black and white. I did the color test page (holding the button cancel and hit then start color copy), and the colors printed correctly.

    I always see color/black and white of preferences and make sure the color is selected. It continues to print only in black and white so.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600: Printer does not print in color

    I just got the color cartridges refilled at Costco. Now, my printer does not print in color.  I printed out a diagnosis and cartridges are showing that they are full.  The actual color of magenta is a deep rose, so I know that some of the magenta is crossing. Cyan (blue) and yellow printed black on diagnostic tests.  I know that Costco filled cartridges with the appropriate color because I can see the color on/in the cartridge.  Suggestions on what to try? I bought the printer on January 27, 2013.

    I understand the frustration you are experiencing.  It seems that there is a problem with the print head or ink cartridges.

    To determine the cause, I would like to use this document:

    If the problem persists, I suggest you try a new complete set of ink cartridges.

    How many times have you filled out the ink in these cartridges?

    TIP: Reloaded cartridges can stop functioning over time, if the nozzle one chip or ink is damaged.

    Note: HP recommends you to use genuine HP cartridges. HP does not guarantee the quality or reliability of cartridges HP cartridges refilled HP.

    If you have completed all the above steps and your product still has a problem, service the product.

    Display uppercase makes reading difficult.

    Have you checked the printer properties settings?

    It could also be due to a problem with ink cartridge

    Used HP diagnostics or printed the test page for HP?

    Its nothing to do with win7 the printer settings are taken from the printer to the driver

    I understand that you are having problems with the black does not print, you have replaced the printhead to another printer and it prints fine. I want to help you.

    I'm assuming that you used the same cartridges in the print head when you try them in another printer, let me know if you didn't like it.

    Given that the new printhead works in another unit, it seems that it would be a problem with the hardware with the printer and it would need to be repaired.

    I have provided all the documentation for this problem, probably all of the steps have been made previously.

    Similar problem had to change print head I kept the old and it very dirty to I will try to clean and keep it for a spare part.  You could remove cartage and try to clean up the background and that could save buy you the new printhead

    I've been struggling with this for months...

    Of course, this printer color cartridges run out after 50 pages or so... terrible... but at least the BW prints nearly 500 pages... not bad...

    Anyway,.

    Whenever the COLOR cartridge is low, it FARM DOWNS ANY impression, especially BW... I can't print on BW, when well even the cartridge BW is full... WHY?

    I chose the option to "continue" to print on device settings when the color cartridges are weakening... and yet, it still does not print...

    IS THERE A WAY TO BYPASS THE CARTRIDGES COLOR AND PRINTING BLACK AND WHITE ONLY? I can NOT BELIEVE HP MADE some THING so SIMPLE SO COMPLICATED... they are supposed to be leaders in printing technology and yet they cannot even conceive something that should be so simple...

    I tried to print a test page and some colors are missing.  In addition, it lacks striations.   Yes, the band was remove new cartridges.

    Well, - if you printed the demonstration outside of Windows (directly from the printer) page and there is lack of colors - this is not a software problem - but a material one.  Contact Kodak or try different cartridges.

    I see on the screenshot image, software that you ran was for another model of printer (Photosmart B109 model) and the thread here is a Photosmart C309 model. Alone, this could be the problem. I found the Windows 7 driver for the C309 model which I will post below for you case, it is your model. I'll also post a link on how to find and check that your printer model number, just to make sure that the right one is selected. If you have the model C309, start the download and installation below (after that the printer is connected to your network of my previous message) and I hope that will connect and install for you.
