photsmart 8450 watch offline in windows 8

I just bought a Samsung Ultra portable with Windows 8 is installed and I have a HP Photosmart 8450. I used the HP driver finder to find what was supposed to be a compatible driver. The driver indicates it's for the Photosmart 8450, yet when I go to print, in the statistics window, the printer shows offline. Can I use my android to print AND of course my laptop installed Windows XP Pro, and they print very well... but this stil driver shows the printer offline in the environment of Windows 8. I did everything I can think as turn the printer off / restart all without success. Any help is appreciated! Thanks...

Well well... that's nice! Thank you very much... it looks that this solution works. The pilot shows is (copy 1) as if there is also a pilot of the shadow installed as well.

NO QUESTION... it prints well and is not going offline.

Thanks again... If he starts to act up to... "I'll Be Back."

    (6) using winrar or winzip to extract files to ResetDRM.exe (ADVPACK. DLL CleanDRM.exe resetdrm.inf) to a temporary folder. ResetDRM does not work by itself on Windows 8 in any compatibility mode so you MUST check out it

    (7) use the Explorer to find cmd.exe to C:\Windows\System32

I followed this post to another thread and it works:

I chose to upgrade my Sony Viao VPCJ12LPOE (desktop all-in-one computer) from Windows 7 to Windows 8.  The compatibility of Windows 8 Checker advised that I should I uninstall the drviers of Bluetooth of Broadcom (Widcomm) Windows 7 because they are incompatible.

After the upgrade to Windows 8, while the rest worked fine but I was left without means to connect Bluetooth devices to my PC. (a problem reported elsewhere in these forums.

I applied the following fix today and everything now works fine.

Bluetooth is an on-board unit that need compatible drivers Windows 8.

To repeat: I've updated two days ago and suffered the loss of my Bluetooth after having been advised to uninstall the driver Broadcom (Widdcomm) before the upgrade.

Today I installed Windows 8 compatible Broadcom Bluetooth driver from Lenovo web page (see link below) and since, I've added the following blue tooth devices successfully to my PC which is now running Windows 8 (all now the connection): my IPhone 4s, my IPad 3, my Panasonic music with IPod/IPhone docking station Center and my Lumia 800 Windows Phone works.

Copy and paste this link into your browser and download and install the Bluetooth Driver for Broadcom (R) s1blt3us17.exe listed.

You will then see the icon Bluetooth appears in your task bar in the lower right of the desktop you after a reboot.  Right click and select "add a Bluetooth device".  This will take you to the page of 'Device' in Windows 8.  Turn the unit that you wish to be added in the coupling mode and click on the + button of the unit.

Once added, stay patient and not go clicking around until windows has installed device drivers (progress bar blue small will appear under the name of the device).

Once completed, you find a new TILE will add on Windows 8 "splash screen" for each unit added.  Click on the tile for the device and the "set Bluetooth will start and appear on your screen.  From there, you will see the device you just added, and you can click on 'connect' (to link) and "disconnect" (to disconnect once connected).

I know that it works and my instructions here can trust completely.

    Good luck.  Trevor.

  • Office Jet 8620: Networked 8620 Pro always 'offline' in Windows 10

My Office Jet Pro 8620 is still retained as 'offline' Windows 10, even if my printer Hp Assistant still connect to it fine.  The printer is on a network via ethernet cable and is always available via the internet printing as well.

I finally gave up using the HP driver for device Pro 8620 and 8620 name and started using HP ePrint as my printer driver default, which seems to have solved the problem for now.

I checked the version of my driver 8620 and HP reports it as current.  Is there a newer driver coming that will address this problem or, Alternatively, is there a generic Windows driver that I can use which will correctly yield the printer to be online?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Thank you for using the forum.

You can try creating a TCP/IP port?

    Creating a TCP IP port

    1. Print a Configuration Page to get the printer IPv4 address (you can also tap on the icon wireless on the front panel of your printer to obtain the IP address)
    2. On your PC, go to control panel configuration, devices and printers, right-click the printer and on the left, click printer properties, select the Ports tab.
    3. Click Add Port, select the Port TCP/IP Standard, then New Port and follow the instructions in the wizard.
    4. Type the IP address for the printer.

Note that you can ALWAYS go back to the original port the HP software installed by selecting the HP port on the Ports tab (in the properties of the printer)

    Thank you.

  • OfficeJet 4630: HP 4630. Message offline and windows 8 questions

Hi, am a 4630 all-in-one. fashion 'sleep' something mobile (iPhone, iPad or android tablet) wakes up it and it prints perfectly. PC, however, is another question, he wakes up not at all. Even when her awake, we still sometimes get a printer of saying error message is offline.

This isn't the end of the problems. When we finally get it to print something the PC it will no print and a half pages, spit on the printed page, half with an error message saying: it has been a problem. Doesn't mean what the problem is.

Please help, its been my head now. What we want is a printer that prints, we never had any problems with HP stuff before and it's just incredibly frustrating, especially when my son tries to print working from home.

Please help, before he found a window!

    Hi there @ricfrench!

Please contact us on the HP Forums!

I see that your Officejet 4630 does not only when printing from your computer running Windows 8.  I wouldn't advice the former on the method of the window.  If the printer is capable of printing from mobile devices and test stand alone as a photo and then copy the firmware and hardware in the printer works properly.  Looks like you can have a light software or a firewall problem possible cause.

The first thing I recommend is to uninstall the HP software. Once the uninstall is complete, it would be wise to perform a cleanup of the computer disk. A disk cleanup will improve the performance of the computer and remove the temporary files that may cause problems during the installation of the software. Once disk cleanup you must restart the computer and reinstall the HP software.

To uninstall the HP software, click here: uninstall the HP software

  • What is the key of registry or files to change the option of the disk space to files offline in windows xp and 8

    Hello

will someone please solve my problem which is the key to registry or files will effect when we change the amount of disk space used to store in the offline files option when we go to control pane--> sync--> manageofflinefiles 8 victory while this option is not in the options of folders in Windows XP

    Hello

    Thanks for asking!

If I understand correctly, you want that registry key is responsible for the amount of storage on the disk space for offline files.

I suggest you to visit these links and check if it helps.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/is-is/Windows7/manage-disk-space-for-offline-files  (Applicable for Windows Xp)

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/904676?WA=wsignin1.0

For the registry key, see this.

It describes the registry key that defines the value for an amount of
    storage for use offline files:
    HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\NetCache

To do: Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. • Files offline of Windows XP on a domain

After installing a second NETWORK card on a Windows XP box that is in a domain, the computer continues to indicate to the user the connection is interrupted and she works offline. The second NIC is configured for a separate network that is not on the field.  Is there a way to fix this so that the connection to the server remains constant?

    Wonders,

Thank you very much for the information. I adjusted the settings of the NIC as well as disable the setting to allow the system to power down the network card.  These two things did the trick.  The second NIC was static RPI and is only used on a single subnet, so there is no gateway or DNS settings.
