    Hello Faysal,

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community.

As described in the question, I understand that your two cards of Gadmei USB TV Tuner does not work on your Windows 7 desktop. The same card works fine on another computer in Windows 7 with the same configuration.

I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.

    1. What happens when you plug-in card TV Tuner? Your computer will detect the device? Do you have a code or a message when it fails to connect?
    2. Did you check connecting them via a different USB port?

There may be a possibility that drivers for Gadmei TV sticks are not correctly installed on the computer. We will try these methods below and check if that helps.

    Method 1:

First of all, I suggest you to run the following Microsoft Fixit to get the problem diagnosed and fixed automatically.

Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows

    http://Support2.Microsoft.com/mats/hardware_device_problems?WA=wsignin1.0

    Method 2:

If the fixit above does not resolve the problem, I suggest to download the best compatible driver on the device manufacturer (Gadmei) site or contact Gadmei to get the best driver for your computer and install it.

You can also read the article below to help update the device driver.

    Hello

    Have a look on the European driver Toshiba page;
    Here, you have to choose:

Options of-> Office Accessories based-> TV tuner-tuner TV USB hybrid-> Windows XP >

Now a Savvy TV of LiteOn v2.0 is available.

Notes; It s only for the software Vista Win XP and W2K Win 7 is not available, but try the version for Vista
If not check the internet for the latest version of the Savvy TV software

    Hello

I try to connect my Satellite phone USB hybrid TV tuner X 200-15 K, Microsoft Vista operating system.

In accordance with the instructions of the guide I installed the software Savvy TV of the CD (and also downloaded and installed last new software for MS Vista Toshiba Download Center).
Windows recognized new hardware (TV tuner) correctly, but from Savvy TV at Settings\Source is available only 0:Video file (* *.mpg, *.mpeg).
    Channels tab is not available.
TV tuner is connected to analog cable TV.

    What I've done wrong?

Thank you very much for the help.

    Gasper

I hope you didn't confuse the OS and USB TV tuner software
One of my friends has installed on the Satellite A200 USB hybrid TV tuner and everything went correctly

I recommend you to remove the old version of software and to clean the registry with CCLeaner freeware software.
Then install the software for the Toshiba page correctly!

Here you can find the manual of hybrid USB TV tuner:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_manuals.jsp?service=EU

You must choose the Options of-> based Office Accessories-> TV tuner-> hybrid USB TV tuner

  • no internet tv after installation of the usb tv tuner!

I recently bought a HP laptop g62-228 ca series.

I had set up the center of windows media, (no problem in doing so).

I was able to open/Internet t.v and view them (especially short video clips / some full episodes, very crisp clear picture.) a lot of the content could not be considered because I reside in the Canada.

After installing the usb tv tuner and set up for regular tv viewing with my local cable provider. (no problem with that too).

I could not open/access channels or videos even as I liked be4 I had installed the tv tuner. I can see them in the Guide and even highlight, but I can't open them.

If someone can help me solve this problem, so I can return to view internet tv. on my laptop?

    I would be very grateful.

    P. S.

the tuner, I bought says it supports NTSC; ATSC; & clear QAM.

  • USB TV Tuner - required remote sensor or not?

This destiny feel so much sense at the moment.  I did research on the USB TV tuner and online manuals indicate it comes with a remote sensor separated, but the "what's in the box" does not list these elements.  If I buy the dv7t laptop, I intend to integrate it with my TV and it spends the majority of his life sitting on the entertainment center, so I don't expect to use the remote control.

Can someone clarify the differences between the description of the product and the documentation available?  I don't have to get sucked into another bad buy as my TV (the manual online for this was completely false on one of the features I wanted specifically for).

    Thank you!

Since it is clear that no HP or having useful information comes here, I thought that I'm answering my own questions now that I got it for the archives.

First, the documentation provided on this site is not accurate, or at least updated, from this date, so don't base is not your assumptions about everything you see while performing your research.  The literature suggests a slightly different distance and images and description of what is in the box is different from what you will receive.  The online user guide shows an IR (infrared) receiver and additional cables.  Everything is in the box is what is stated on the sales page USB TV Tuner.

Remote work in RF (in appearance), so one might think, there is no need "line of sight", but it does.  I've been using Windows Media Center and the remote active it is very good at a distance of about 10 feet.  I can't test it any further than that.

    a. open the Control Panel (all items view) and click the Windows Update icon.

    (b) after the updates of Windows or if you are looking for updates, click the link available updates .

    c. right click on Windows Update list that you want to hide, and then click hide update.

    d. If prompted by UAC, then click on Yes or enter the administrator password.

  • My HP Envy for television using the old Tuner card

I currently have a HP Envy 17 with no PCMCIA card slot. My old computer is a laptop HP DV9260 (Vista) that came with a PCMCIA TV tuner card (I never used). I still have the card and all other components.

I want to use my desire to pick up digital TV shows, but I can't use the previous tuner card because the desire doesn't have a card slot. Which is the best option... (1) find an adapter to use the prior TV tuner to the PC (via USB) card or 2) buy a new tuner system? I checked with HP, not a lot of help support. Thank you!!

  • Media Center Tuner card

can you tell me where my card tuner for Media center on my computer

    Practical Hi, Jeanette

TV tuners are of two types of basic model: external TV tuners, which usually plug into a USB port on your computer and the internal TV tuner cards, you must install inside your computer.

  • e9280t cannot start with the USB 3.0 card (tried several providers) new version of BIOS e9280t necessary

    Hello...

I bought a new e9280t year last on the HP site complete with 9 GB of memory (now 16), Blu-ray/DVD writer & reader, tuner TV digital Hauppauge, ATI Radeon 4850 video card bi-ecrans, etc... Since then, I've added more memory and a Firewire 400/800 3 card. His running Win 7 Pro (sp1) and the BIOS is v5.29.

I bought an external drive to USB 3.0 WD (3 TB) and a StarTech USB 3.0 card (Amazon.com). After installing a USB 3.0 card, the system would be powered on for a second then die and then do it again a few seconds later and the cycle continues until the power cord was pulled. Then, I pulled the USB 2.0 card and tried again only to have the same results. The only cards that remained in the system during the trial was the ATI card and the TV Hauppuage card.

Thinking that the problem was with the USB 3.0 card, I bought another provider (Rocketfish of BestBuy) and installed. The same problem as with the other card USB 3.0, the system does not start.

No software driver or other changes have been made to the system before installation tent (according to the vendor's installation instructions).

Given that all failures occur during the power first sequence and cards have been tried with and without power tied to them, that the problem cannot be fixed with an upgrade of the BIOS for the motherboard of TRUCKEE. I could be wrong, but I'm going on 30 years of experience of material as my framework for this review.

If anyone else has this same problem, it would be good to rally them around and see if HP notice us.

    Thank you

    Norm

I upgraded my power supply 650w (thermal take) and it all works - USB 3 controller (Koutech Dual Channel SuperSpeed USB 3.0 PCI Express Card (2 x internal) model IO-PEU232) - he also has a SATA power connector, but it works very well with just a power bus.
-also updates card reader (put it in the 2nd DVD Bay): internal Koutech IO-RCM630 Multi-in-1 USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Front Panel card reader with a USB 3.0 Port (3.5 ")
