Picture manager/Organizer for Photoshop?

Photoshop (current version) comes with an organizer to manage his photos?  Photoshop Element has the organiser (or program). Or is Lightroom, considered as the organizer for Photoshop and must be purchased separately.  Other forums that I read, I think I understand the differences between Lightroom and PSE for editing (especially for raw images).   I don't understand, it's Photoshop has any type of organisation, labelling, software etc., built in?

Thank you... Patrick

The Adobe.com site has many descriptions of these programs, but I don't know of any concise comparison, because the products are intended for many different uses and users:

Bridge is intended for access and marking the files of all types, not just of the fast images and can be used with programs that many kinds of digital content, photos not only to change.

Organizer of PSE is marketed as an organizer of consumer images and videos, closely integrated with the image editor Photoshop Elements and editor of elements of Prime Minister.

Lightroom offers an organization closely integrated and the edition of "workflow" for raw and JPEG pictures, designed for professionals and serious amateurs.

Anyone know how to change the default setting for printing in Office Picture Manager?

I have a user who clams that when they try photo printing settings in Office Picture Manager has been configured to print bac2 and paper 4 x 6.  Now when it prints, it must use the drop-down list boxes to tell it to print from bac2 and paper 4 x 6.
I changed the default settings of the printer to print from the bac2 and use paper 4 x 6, but they must still use the drop-down list boxes in Picture Manager.
    Thank you!

Although I maded the changes to the properties of the Windows printer I had to do that to solve the problem.

    To solve the problem:

    1. once in the print of the image window there is a link 'Options '.... "at the bottom right.

    2. once it's a click a print settings window that opens there. You will need to click on the link 'printer properties '.

    3. now the printer Document Properties window appears. Change of Source paper and media here.

    4. click on the OK button and now it's good to go.

Hello, I need help. in photoshop / editing / color / color / RGB management rules, it is impossible to change this point. Is in the "off" position and I would choose "preserve embedded profiles' I'm on windows 8 and creative cloud for photoshop.

Policies automatically goes to "off" If you have your screen as working RGB profile - what is something that you should never do. Always have a standard space like RGB work.

And Yes, "preserve embedded profiles" is the only sensitive parameter. Others are best for special purposes where you really know what you are doing - at worst they will transform your archive in a unrecoverable mess.

    I use Photoshop CC 2015.0.1 on a MacOS 10.9.5

I try to install the extension FlatIcon found here: http://www.flaticon.com/download-plugin#

I opened the Terminal and entered in the following:. / ExManCmd - install "Users/angyb/flaticon-CC-2.5.5.zxp".

How to fix Adobe Application Manager code error-60 download appears corrupt but only for Photoshop CS6 Creative Suite cloud App. Several attempts have been made to install Photoshop CS6 with Adobe Application Manager without success. All the other Creative Suite apps has been downloaded successfully. I get Installation failed when trying to install Photoshop. How no one corrects it?

PJBarbour I would recommend working with your IT Department to solve your network problems.  Aid and the trial license is only a workaround and do not solve the root cause to be able to download the Adobe Application Manager software.

There are other offers available currently in the creative cloud, i.e. Adobe Edge and Lightroom, you need to download and install using the Adobe Application Manager to the licensed software.

  • Microsoft Picture Manager displays an empty rectangle for jpeg images

original title: problem Microsoft Picture Manager

When you copy a JPEG from the internet in Microsoft Picture Manager only an empty rectangle is displayed. When I move the cursor over this white rectangle, I see that the file type is displayed as a png image and not a jpeg. Although I have only a basic knowledge of computer, I checked in the menu tools that the png file type is checked and as far as I understand it should then open in Picture manager. This issue has occurred only recently that I copied and pasted the images from the internet on many previous occasions without any problems at all. I have Windows 7 Professional and Office 2007. Any help would be appreciated to greately.

    Hi geckoartstudio,

    Greetings.

    • It depends on what kind of work you do.
    • You can get rid of Photoshop elements 11, but I think you should keep the other application where you need it.
    • Adobe Bridge is the kind of an organizer.
    • The extension manager is used to install plugins adobe or third, but 4 CS is old enough, the most recent version is CC

I think you can get rid of them, once you make sure you don't need those for your work.
