Pilot lost after service Pack 2

I have already installed Service Pack 2 and Service Pack 2 KB948465 KB974469. I got a lot of wrong with SP2 including duty re - install windows. PC now under Vista Home premium, fully implemented to date. I lost the Driver for my Panasonic camera during the installation of this old update. This resulted in a crash of Windows and having to reinstall Windows for a second time.

What I would do on the Firewire driver. I'm very nervous about connecting the camera after what happened before.

Hi emily_elizabeth,

Whenever a device is connected to the computer, Windows will try to load a generic driver for the device. If there is no generic driver, the driver should then be downloaded from the device manufacturer's Web site and install it or use the CD that came with the device and install it.

Whenever the latest windows updates are installed on the computer, some device drivers need their own updates. We recommend to visit the device manufacturer's website, provide the model number of the device, select the product and download the right driver.

Please visit this link to download the firewire for your device and install it: http://www.panasonic.com/business/provideo/support/

The hunt for drivers: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/The-hunt-for-drivers-How-to-find-Windows-Vista-drivers-for-all-your-hardware

Also check windows updates in optional updates to see if there is an update available for the device.
1. open Windows Update (click the Start button, click all programs and then click Windows Update).
2. in the left pane, click search for updates, and then wait while Windows searches the latest updates for your PC.
3. If updates are found, click on view available updates.
4. Select the optional updates that you want, and then click on install. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

For more information, see this link: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/windowsupdate/learn/windowsvista.mspx

I hope this helps.

Kind regards
Syed

    * Title *.
After installing service pack 2 the drive that contains the windows began to have insufficient disk space, next before installing it he had about 8 GB of free space, what is the problem?

    Hi Ayman Jean-Claude,

    1. you are running Windows vista on the computer?

    2. how much free disk space you have after install vista sp2?

    1. open Disk Cleanup by clicking the Start button, all programs, Accessories, clicking System Tools, and then click Disk Cleanup.

    2. in the Disk Cleanup Options dialog box, choose whether you want to clean your own files only or all files on the computer. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  • UAC trouble after Service Pack 1 update (Win7)

    Hello

Anyone have problems with UAC on Windows 7 after a Service Pack 1 update?

After the installation of the Service Pack (in fact after installing a hotfix for KB2442962 but the Service Pack install this fix themselves),

programs (e.g. install a programm), requiring a user access control stop after I entered the password for the administrator.

Other things work until they need an administrative account and password. I can only disconnect and then sometimes, I get the error message (translated from German): "too many 16-bit-program files are in use. "16-bit-programs close or increase the value of 'files =' in config.sys. Is that everyone, who have this problem?

Someone knows how to fix this?

    Hello

OK I got it =) it's a Lenovo VeriFace software, which is not compatible with the UAC patch. After you have uninstalled VeriFace, there is no problem with installing software as a normal user =)

If Lenovo have to fix bugs in VeriFace and spread of new software fixed!

  • Hard drive LED flashes after Service Pack 2 installed.

Hard disk LED (activity indicator) flashes or 'pulses' once per second, like seconds ticking of a clock after installing SP2.

This happens on my Vista 64 Ultimate desktop and my laptop Vista 64 Home Premium of buddies.

When we turn off the DVD/CD drive in Device Manager, the drive stops flashing...? Anyone?

    * After using System Restore to 'Cancel' the installation of SP2 on the laptop, the hard drive continues to blink.

Disabling the 'Auto-Play' function does not work either.

I do a system restore on the laptop. This operation he brings to "out of box state" and running on SP1. I follow the results upward.

    Problem solved!

With the office running, I disconnected the power cable from the DVD itself, DVD player and cut the data cable from the motherboard DVD player, then reconnected them.

It's now time to try this on the laptop.

Keep in mind the two of them are running Vista 64 bit and this devloped problem only after installation of SP2.

    Hello

I found another announcement in this forum on this subject!
Your Satellite 5200 802 has a sound chip called Yamaha YMF753 and it is built in different notebooks! This chip problems with Service Pack 2 because MS consider that the pilot of his Yamaha AC - XG is unstable. When Service Pack 2 is installed, Windows disables the audio driver.

    Hello

First you must install common module, after all the other drivers. The correct order is very important, because some tools or drivers need the common modules for installation.
