  • Satellite L850-11 q - pilot missing for PCI Intel Panther Point PCH host

    Hello

    I bought a Satellite L850-11 q earlier this month.

Having a Windows 7 Prof 64 bit service pack 1 - license (and Win7 Home comes pre-installed), I formatted everything (including the recovery partition, because I tend to make my own backups).

Of course, I downloaded all the 64-bit drivers available beforehand, but after installing all that I found this driver is still missing!

I searched on the 'sister' - portable L855 page for compatible drivers, but could find none (reason: * not all pilots are on the L850-site *, for example of stack Bluetooth driver - I got 3 unknown devices after installing all the drivers-L850, both of them could be found on the site L855).

My problem is that there is always an unknown device in the windows Device Manager.
Aida64 (a system of monitoring/information, etc. - program) has identified the device to be the

    "* PCI Intel Panther Point PCH - Host Embedded Controller Interface 1 (HECI1) [C - 1]."

    * Updated Windows *-by right clicking and selecting the automatic driver search * can't find anything *, either.

In addition, Intel has not all drivers as of yet for this chipset (I think maybe it's the 'chipset of the 7 series', and which is not listed, yet).

I looked for the files here:
    http://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/default.aspx?lang=eng & changeLang = true

Get any help in getting my hand on the .inf driver/necessary files is appreciated.

Thank you very much in advance for your time and efford!

    Hello

Panther Point initially was a name for the Intel express chipsets (QM77, HM77, HM76 and others)

AFAIK the L850-11 q was equipped with an Intel HM76 express chipset.
Recommend to install the Intel chipset driver for this chipset.

    Try this one:

  • Jet pilots series II for Windows 8.1 laser

A friend just bought a new Lenovo PC Windows 8.1. She has an old printer HP Laser Jet Series II that I gave him that connects NOT via USB, but the old x pins cable. She can not get the printer to work with his new PC and wants my help.  I suspect that we will have need manually find, download and install the drivers for it, but I did of repeated searches and cannot find any info. Can anyone here point me in the right direction? If this isn't the case, specific to series II drivers, there's a 'generic' driver that will work for this?

Parallel and serial ports are not supported in Windows 8 or 8.1 of Windows.

A USB converter or accessory optional network is required to print/install drivers.

Windows Update automatically installs the driver when the computer has an internet connection.

  • Problem with Intel (r) C600/79 X series chipset PCI Express Root Port 3 - 1 d 14 wake my computer from sleep mode

    Hello

(hope this is the right forum for this question)

I asked on the forums so, called Microsoft and the company that made my computer and no one can give me an answer - I don't know what to do anymore.

Whenever I put my computer to sleep (remotely or in the menu windows) it automatically wake up after a certain time (various from 5 seconds to 30 minutes) and he does it without doing me anything.

    So far I have tried:

    • BIOS upgrade
    • Updated many drivers
    • Out all my USB and stuff to see if that had nothing to do with it.
    • Anything that might wake my computer without getting so basically (mouse, keyboards, regular stuff etc.) disabled
    • Above all, I was googeling everything that is remotely close to the subject, I'm trying hard and again came away empty-handed.

As I said in the topic I think that I discovered that the PCI 3 - ID14 express root port is the problem, but then again, what the h *, is that, and I can't for the life of figure me out how to disable.

    My configuration:

    • Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1
    • 2 monitors (BenQ and Acer)
    • Razer BlackWidow (keyboard)
    • Razer Imperator (mouse)
    • Logitech webcam
    • NVIDIA Geforce GTX 680
    • Intel Core i7-3820
    • Asus P9X79 (motherboard)

Anyone has any ideas or have had similar problems? I'm so sick of what I think actually just reinstalling EVERYTHING, but that requires a lot of work because I have so many things I need to keep.

    Any help, either, is appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

Thanks for all your efforts, but the problem is now resolved.

I downloaded manually all the network card drivers that had nothing to do with 'Realtek' or whatever it is. Then suddenly it worked. So I probably installed a correct driver, strange thing is that I update my network card in the past, but it does not solve the problem.

  • Conversion of vi series Lv5.1 of VISA

The question: is there a simple routine or a utility that will allow me to put to port vi series day in LV 5.1 wrote to the current version of LV?

We use LabView 5.1 series vi (no VISA) to pass requests and data between an instrument and a PC. Series vi communication were easy to use and have been widely used in several legacy programs that have continued to evolve (and use) over the past 6 years (probably not the best code).

I want to upgrade to a recent version of Labview, and in my first test (using a version 8.2) could open the old 5.1 VI with only minimal errors. However, none of the communications series void IA function. Change series vi in a subroutine for versions of the series VISA write / read / bytes to the Port / etc. as well as the works of appropriate but c‰blage to do it for all occurrences of these series vi leaves me quite cold to the idea of "redevelopment".

I've looked through the boards, but have not found something that seems to meet my need. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First of all, these are not errors and warnings. Second, if you do not see the VISA features in LabVIEW 8.2, so what could happen is that someone made the mistake of creating a Bachelor's degree in law and Economics vi.lib functions in the llb. If the location of the series functions is in a Bachelor's degree in law, you really, really want to remove them from the llb (as well as all other functions of vi.lib). Registration of the vi.lib in a just llb functions makes very difficult upgrade process. You should also really, really thinking about giving up a total of llb. They have no use and must be used for the distribution of the code. A VI corrupt in a llb will damage the whole llb. A Bachelor's degree in law does not work with source code control. Use separate screw or the new lvlib folders.

Here is the block diagram of the pilot series Open. And Yes, VISA uses another way to select ports. the 'ASRL1::INSTR' is the more formal way to use com1, but normally, people use the alias VISA "COM1". It is much better than the old way where Com1 is port '0'.

  • Dv4-1413tx - no sound after downgrade to xp vista frm

    Hello...

I recently bought a HP dv4-1413tx with vista home premium pre-installed on it. I tried it downgrade to Windows XP SP2. Managed to install XP on it but feels a hell of a time with drivers... Especially the audio. There is absolutely no sound. Not even the beeps.

I tried to install UAA audio bus driver first and then the driver of HDTV LSI etc. but still no sound. I spent several hours on this subject...

Peut - some kind soul please direct me on how to go about this case?

I remember that I was in a similar situation some two years back in an attempt to re - install Windows XP on another laptop from my friend. We install everything except the audio. Finally, the technician at the shop could install for us. Now I'm away from the place... So can not go and find out that the man how it install it. It was also a HP laptop only...

I would like to add that the mute button stays red and does not respond when you press.

There is nothing about Audio in Device Manager... Maybe that's the problem.

    @pjr.

    Drivers for Windows XP:

Chipset Intel, (install and reboot before other drivers) here

    Intel Matrix Storage Manager here

MS-UAA for SP2 (required with a reboot before the graphics and Audio, Modem driver) here

MS-UAA for SP3 (required with a reboot before the graphics and Audio, Modem driver) here

    NVIDIA GeForce G 105M

Modded Drivers NVIDIA drivers 185.85 worm.

    How to install under XP:
    1. Download driver here, double click and select Extract.
    2. download modded INF here and replace the original INF in extracted folder.

    Intel Wireless 5100 here

    Bluetooth Wireless here

Please check first that link written by Joshua Wood and concentrate on problems that may appear when you install the sound card in it. I don't know then it's dv5 guide, but a lot of hardware and drivers are the same for both models.

2 sp41693, pilot, work reported in XP here view

When you install a sound driver with checking the success is your sound work.

If there is no sound after reboot check this thread. There is information how to fix this problem.

    Do a manual installation

Go to Device Manager, right click on the unknown device,

Choose update driver, not to communicate.

Choose the install from a list or a specific location, not search, have-disk,

Navigate to the location of machine.inf.

Do it for the rest of the unknown devices
