Problem HP Officejet J4660 AIO combined

Hey,.

I recently bought a HP all-in-one Officejet 4660 and problems with the handset. There is a handset added to the package and I try to use it with the Fax. I have it connect to port Ext 2 and get a dial tone, but I can't hang up. What I mean is that I always get a tone, even when the handset is supposed to be down. Am I missing? The guide says that if I want to connect what on Ext2 port I need to set it up, but he didn't say how. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Never mind. It turns out that it was a broken device. All is well now

I think that the Acquisition of Image Windows (WIA) service is disabled in your system. Unlike Windows XP or Vista, in most Windows Server systems, this service is disabled by default. You can activate it in this way:

    1. right click on my computer and select manage.

    2. Select "Applications and Services-> Services";

    3. find Windows Image Acquisition (WIA), right click and select Properties.

    4. Select "auto" in the "Startup Type" list box in the "Général" tab

    5. in the situation 'Services', click 'start '.

  • Printing problems HP Officejet 4500 and warranty issues

    Help!

I have problems with a HP Officejet 4500 that I bought last January.  He stopped working at the end of December, but I had to get out of town for Christmas and have not reported in time.  It is not my main printer, so I didn't start working to try to make it work until today.

It will start printing, but stops after a few lines, the screen indicates that it is out of ink.  Sometimes he says that the black ink is low, sometimes the tri-color, sometimes both.  After I have the OK button it will print another line or two until it stops and says it's out of ink.  What it prints, it's kind of uneven and blotchy.  Sometimes it falls a letter of a Word.

When I run a report it wybody help best cut down the lines.  For example, if the line is different sizes of the 'Aa' letter, it will only print the top of the letter.  He will also skip lines.

I cleaned the cartridges, I aligned the cartridges (that I did when I put these new cartridges), and I'm at the end of my mind!

Can someone help me or am I just bad luck?

    Thank you!

I would like to look at this document here. It will give one the troubleshooting steps to try to resolve the problem you are having with a quality of printer output. Among the measures here are ones you mentioned by train, but there are others in the document which are available and which were not included in the above post. If you reach the end of the document, and the question is still involved, would seek the replacement of the product.

If you are still in warranty, HP can replace the printer without cost to you. I'll link the information to get in touch with them below. The link takes you to a form to fill out. Once you fill it and she is treated, it will give you the printers warranty information, a file number and the phone number to call.

  • problem with Officejet pro 8600 N911g ePrint

I'm trying to install eprint on my officejet however I have questions. I went into my settings to printers via the IP address and when I click on activate ePrint, it says this:

Unable to connect to the server.

Check the Internet connection and try again. Or contact your system administrator or the person who set up the printer.
If your network requires a proxy server address to connect to the Internet, click Proxy enter or check your browser settings.

As far as I know of I do not use a proxy server address. I have Cox Cable internet and have set the IP to my computer/printer to static. All other work well i.e. wifi printing, iphone/ipad and ext.

These steps usually fix the problem, but if it persists, you can try definition of network information static for the printer (which is sometimes useful to stabilize the ability of the printer to get outside of your network to the internet):

    1. tap the wireless at the top of the screen of the printer and note the IP address.

    2. Enter the IP address in the address bar of a web browser on a computer and press on enter or click the go button browser.

    3. the printer status page must be open.  Click network in the upper part.

    4. click on networking on the left.

    5. Select the Proxy settings.
Note: If you are prompted for a redirect, click OK.  If you receive a certificate warning, select the option that allows you to continue anyway.
If you receive an internal system error, refresh the page until it loads the proxy settings.

    6. check that all fields are empty.  If they are not, make them disappear and make sure that the Proxy Server requires authentication is unchecked and click on apply.  You should get a success message.

    7. click on the network address (IP) on the left.

My printer is connected to my computer apple for about a year.

I still have problems printing that I still could not find the printer!

    Greetings @epeter02,

I saw your post about the problems you are having with your Officejet 6700 not communicating is not on your computer Mac 10.10 and me to be able to help.

I find that sometimes one must restore the default values of network on the printer, then turn on the network - all before reconnecting the printer to the network.

Restore the default settings of the network:

    1. Right arrow key
    2. Press Setup
    3. Select the network menu
    4. Find and select the default network

Here's how to turn your network if you are not sure:

    (1) unplug the power cable from your wireless router (NOTE: do not reset the router)
    (2) do the same for the printer
    (3) turn off computer
    (4) plug first back into the router and wait to turn on completely
    (5) then plug the printer back in and wait for the wireless light become solid.
    (6) once the router and the printer are on, go ahead and re - turn on the computer

    Re-connect the wireless:

    1. Right arrow key
    2. Press Setup
    3. Select the network menu
    4. Find and select the wireless configuration wizard

Once it is connected, collect the IP address of the printer and put it in the address bar of your browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox) and see if the loading of the page printer. Please let me know if this page load or not.

Try to add your printer before you try.

If the problem persists, have you tried the steps suggested in a "printer not found" error for the HP Officejet 6600 e-all-in-one?

Please let me know if any of these steps has resolved your problem, or if there is anything else I can do to help.

I look forward to hear from you!

    Thank you

HP Officejet 6500 not scan unless the doctor feel is connected. Doctor says problems fixed (does not say there) but the printer still says: "the connection to the computer has been lost or the HP scanning application cannot detect the OCR software. • OfficeJet 8500 AIO hosting on Server 2008 32-bit

Using business Vista 32-bit drivers I am unable to share our HP OfficeJet 8500 printers on our server in Windows 2008 print server.  The HP driver Wizard will appear and try to install as I'm installing on a desktop computer.  And because this server is a virtual machine it does not work because there is no USB support.

Someone been able to make it work on Server 2008?  It works fine on my Windows Server 2003 print server that is not a virtual machine.

    Hi Ryan,

I apologize for taking so long to get back to you.

I have an idea that can help solve your problem:

1 extract the exe of corporate pilot

    2. open Autorun.inf with Notepad

    3. go in the section [SystemRequirements] (not [SystemRequirements.501] or some other qualification)

    4. Add "MinUsbReady = 3' in this section

    5. save the file

    6. run setup.exe and then the program does not block your free USB port installation

Please keep in mind that you are try this at your own risk. Please let me know how it works for you. I'm very interested and want to help.

  • Printing DCP color red problem - HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless All - in - One Printer, the 4th copy

I have a HP HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless all-in-One Printer and try to print 75 copies of a program for our event. After the first 5-6 pages the RED in my program starts to turn magenta. I have new HP ink cartridges and print on HP Color Injet paper. I have renectly replaced the Black/Yellow Printhead (at least 6 months ago). At the beginning when I cleaned the printheads, I was able to print 2 or 3 pages showing my color RED. Then back to magenta. When I received the images of test after you have cleaned the print heads, they are all perfect, no lines.

What happens and how can I solve this problem?

    Hi TM1997,

    Thanks for the reply!

Given that the printer seems to work for a bit and then comes back to the same question, it must be a problem with the printhead (Cyan/Magenta one) or the ink lines that go from the cartridges to print heads. First of all, I would suggest that you check the warranty date on your printhead C/M. If it is under warranty contact HP Technical Support in your area and inquire about a replacement, but if not, it's you if you want to replace the print head, printer service, or look into an upgrade.

    Have a great weekend!

  • Problem with Officejet 6500 has more wireless on my Mac running Lion

I just got the Officejet 6500 has more. I was able to make it work with my HP PC Windows XP (would not work with the radio, but it's probably a problem with this computer - connected very well with USB). But I don't see the option to add it on my Mac (main computer) running OS Lion. I'm completely updated on Mac software. I see my other printer as usual (also a HP) on Mac.

Tried to reboot several times. I looked on the HP site to various articles and it seems that I might need to make an update of the firmware on the printer, but when I downloaded the software (on the PC), my printer is gray and so wouldn't let me - or does not need the upgrade. Then. I can't see the printer on the Mac and don't know what else to do. Ideas? Thank you... Is the printer on my wireless network - I can not see the IP address and others.

I don't really know exactly what I did - added to the printer with its IP address and manually the software (added name - I also had a HP update tonight for the printer software, but that only did nothing), then printing I tried and it still would not work.  I used the adjusted IP address, which I found on the dashboard of Verizon. And for some reason, once I put that in manually on the printer, it remained there, even when in desperation I tried to put it back the "detect network" setting. Sorry - but this is not quite logical or in the order.

Also, I restarted the router, then the printer. Somewhere among all the things I tried, to my amazement, it finally worked! At first, I saw the IP address as the name of the printer (which I had entered it), and then he asked to be changed to the actual model. I did it and it now seems to work. Here, I could tell exactly what I did, but perhaps in what I wrote, you will get a glow and know WHY it worked?

I wanted to thank you again for all the time you spent to try and help me get this working. It is really really REALLY appreciated and I definitely click the congratulations for you! Thank you very much!

Hello, I recently bought a j4660 and correctly installed all the e drivers updated in windows 7 ultimate. All functions work properly (fax, scan) but I can't print AT ALL! Or a test page printed. A reinstall I have tried, cleaned all the old drivers in the management of printing and the problem persists. There is no messages and the solution Center says that s all very well. But the impression not response.

    Thank you.

I solved this problem. I used a USB filter driver available to www.asus.com. My motherboard is a m4a78t-e.
