  I'll beging assuming that I am new to VMware.

  I decided to build a server ESXi 4.1 autonomous based on map of Intel S5520HC.

  I used 5 Seagate 1 TB SATA HDD 7200 RPM 32 MB cache connected to the MB controller. Of course ESX couldn't see the RAID so I used this:

  I connected the 4 hard drives in a RAID 10 conf and used this driver during installation so that this controller and R10 table to be found.

  I installed ESX on the 5th disc and also affected the ability of reserve as a "scratch" data store I configured ESX to use this data as a swap for virtual machines store. I also added a datastore iSCSI on a homebuild storage based on Openfiler using similar disks (RAID 10 Setup). All net connections are gigabit Intel on the 3Com gigabit switches. We have therefore 3 data warehouses. 1 is on one disc, the 2nd is on hardware RAID10, 3rd is on iSCSI gigabit. Reading and writing of the 2nd data store performance has been disastrous. It was much lower than these other two stores of data. (reading or writing would not exceed 20000 Kbps as seen on the performance of vSphere client tab.

  I decided to swap with the controller on that is supported natively by ESX, so I used RS2BL080 Intel

  so I used 4 same disks and RAID 10 configuration and performance was even worse.

  I noticed that ESX used the same 1 controller driver since they are compatible. (megaraid sas)

  I want to permanantly unload/remove this driver and let the ESX to use a native without reinstallation of course.

  Any other suggestions to improve performance are welcome.

  It is not the driver, what questions it's the writing mode in which operates the RAID controller. RAID controllers usually work in write-through mode, unless they have a cache with battery attached backup module. With the cache with battery backup module, they are able to operate in mode of writeback who basically dope performance. ESX(I) entirely relies on the caching of the RAID controller and does not any software based in implementing caching for security reasons.

  Generally, you will see rates of transfer between 5-20 MB/s in view write-through and > 80 MB / s in write-back mode.

  I'm running MS Vista Ultimate.

  The imaging device icon and the wording are missing in Device Manager are missing. A device is listed in the box as installed missing icon.

  The other devices in Device Manager normally appear and I can compare what is supposed to be there for another computer running the same version of windows.

  However, the device will not work and will not reinstall.

  When you try to reinstall the device an error indicates that Setup does not work and to contact the manufacturer of the device.

  Yet once, however, this happens when I try to install any imaging device.

  I'm unable to locate information about the imaging devices in the registry.

  I think that some registry entries are missing.

  It is not the missing peripheral individual. This is the section in Device Manager.

  The image error is logged:

  "Windows didn't load setup." Contact your hardware vendor. »

  This happens with any device inaging of anyone.

  What imaging device do you use?

  If the result of the Troubleshoot utility is negative, then reinstall the device. And also be sure to uninstall the previous contents of the device driver by running utility windows install cleanup:

  Now follow the following steps:

  1. Save the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility package on your computer

  2. right click on the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and run as administrator

  3. follow you prompt in the installation wizard. Once completed the installation, click on the Start button

  4. click on all programs. Click on Windows Install CleanUp Utility.

  5. click on the device driver (if on list) in the list of programs.

  6. click on Remove. Click OK

  7. click exit

  Restart the computer for the changes to take effect

  If you had not reinstalled Vista, we helped you recover the product key of Vista for running old, Vista activated using specific programs.

  But, as you have wiped the hard and reinstall Vista, we will not help you recover the product key.

  Hello, I know this question was asked a long time but I haven't found a solution yet. I am usinf Cs5

  I find these lines white t he part 3d text and color missing in the text itself. This occurs when you view in illustator himself and saving in pdf and jpg.

  I noticed a solution has been to flatten the image or rastarize it. This does not give me the quality I want and defeats me the purpose to do something in illustror cancels the ability to resize.

  I need a solution as soon as POSSIBLE because the customer needs of their logo

  As it is a logo, you must do it anyway: object > expand appearance. Then refine the chart: remove hidden paths, associate areas of same color, recolor the grey roads, etc.

• Audio, video, and game controllers missing in vista 64

  Hey there,

  I'm having a problem with my card mother dx58so and sound.  The speaker beside clock icon has a red X.  He says that there is no audio output device installed. When I go into Device Manager it isis is not even an option to extend a audio, video and game controllers. It is completely absent.  I've updated to a vista 64 SP2.  I also tried to install the drivers from microsoft, intel realtek and realtek themselves.  I called intel and had them go through everything with me also including enable/disable in the bios, updaste chipset, bios, drivers.  They also had me uninstall the driver that is at this time the audio, video and game controllers disappeared.  Any help would be great, otherwise I'll probabley try to reformatt HDD and reinstall windows.

  Both your video and sound on Board (part of the motherboard) cards or are they another card installed in one of the slots on your system (stand-alone)

  Which version of the service Park you have on your PC (SP1 or SP2?)

  Have you checked to make sure that this motherboard is compatible with the operating system you are using? You can check it out here CENTER OF COMPATIBILITY of VISTA

  If your device is compatible, your problem may be getting the right driver or a defective unit, or you need to just run all the necessary update on your PC.  I suggest you run Windows update to get the latest updates for your PC.

  Second, boot your PC in a boot environment in MINIMAL MODE to make this issue is not caused by a background program and reinstall the latest drivers for your devices

  To perform a clean boot on a computer that is running Windows Vista, follow these steps.

  1. click on Start, type msconfig in the Search box and press ENTER.

  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click continue.

  2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.

  3. under Selective startup, clear the Load Startup items check box.

  4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click disable all.

  5. click on OK.

  6. When you are prompted, click restart.

  7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

  If your problem is resolved, follow the section How to determine what is causing the problem in the KB article to narrow down the exact source.

  I am unable to connect anything to my computer via Bluetooth most. I used to connect my Flip JBL speakers to my PC via Bluetooth, but now I can't.

  Under my devices and printers, there is an icon on my PC and JBL Flip which declares that both need to troubleshooting for the missing drivers. When I try to get these drivers, they are unable to do so. Recently, this problem happened after I tried to connect my Dual Shock 3 controller to my Kinivo BTD - 400 Bluetooth USB Adapter. (I'm on a laptop and also have built in Bluetooth).

  In Device Manager, I have the following errors:

  Interface devices:

  -Bluetooth Remote Control: this device cannot start. (Code 10)

  Other features:

  -Bluetooth device: the drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28) There is no driver selected for the item or a set of device information.

  Sound, video and game controllers:

  My built-in Bluetooth does not work with any device and is neither my Kinivo. I am currently working with the support Kinivo customer as well, but I need help here, too.

  Looks like your driver is missing or corrupt.

  Try to download your Bluetooth driver for your laptop from your site of manufactured goods.

  Uninstall existing bluetooth driver, reboot the PC.

  Then install the latest bluetooth drivr, downloaded from the website of the manufacturer. Then try to connect to your bluetooth device.

  Try to do a "CTRL + click in the header of Firefox in the open space next to a label. This should bring up a contextual menu. There just enable the toolbar and the Navigation toolbar bookmarks and you should be set. Knowledge Base article lack the Navigation buttons such as back, home, bookmarks and reload has more information.
