  The next suspect is the fill and recovery tools. When used with high settings above about 35, you can get a side effect during transitions of high brightness as the sky behind the lighthouse. The STL luminance sliders are just accentuate the effect of edge.

  Try to fix that and then set the fill and recovery at 35 or less. Also check your sharpening settings, which, if the market value amount too high can cause a simlar 'halo effect' on the edges.

I used a USB transfer cable / program to migrate settings and files above. My favorite mouse pointer scheme is not. I tried to change my plan of cursor recorded, but Win 7 by default, the white arrow and the "cursor corrupted files" pop-up windows.

That did not help.  But for the record, I finally found the correct cursor plan I was looking here: http://www.rw-designer.com/cursor-set/mouse download a .zip file that I had bad access to when you change the pointer of the mouse, but resolved by downloading each schema of cursor .ani and .cur individually on the site. I used this from Win 98 to Win XP.
