  Normally it is not possible to change the background on Windows 7 starter then maybe an upgrade to Home Premium would be an option.

  If you're looking for with Google you will find good tutorials how to change the background. There is another program called * Oceanis change background Windows 7 * who can change the background.

• Default background for Windows 7 Starter distorted

  I just realized that it is IMPOSSIBLE to change your background with Windows 7 Starter.

  1ST - WTF
  2nd - when I right-click on an image and selected the "set as wallpaper"... it caused the default image to change.  Now, it is extended upwards and looks terrible.

  Please help me solve this problem.  If I can't change the background, I would at least get one that looks decent...

  It s not an ordinary matter if the white background changes screen pink.
  I guess that there must certainly be a malfunction of the display or fl-inverter.
  I also recommend to contact Toshiba service partner in your country.

• Removal of audio background in Windows Movie Maker__

  I am trying to remove the background noise in Movie Maker - I use Vista.  Threads say to highlight the clip, click "clip" at the top, down to audio and there will be a mute, discoloration, the volume option - this area is grey outside and non-functional, so it does not work - what should I do, I checked to see if it's the latest version (SP2), no update does seem to be necessary... but I can't use it!  And can't seem to find an answer here, then perhaps that person has had this problem?

  This problem can occur because an incorrect color profile is used for the device to monitor in color management. When Windows Live Photo Gallery uses the incorrect color profile to manage settings of color for the images, the image may not appear as expected.

  1 - Go to this folder: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes\

  Have you tried to use customize them, or right click on the photo in question? Also, what is the size and the resolution of the photo in question?

  The easiest way to add a photo for wallpaper is to right click on the desktop and select Personalize. When this window opens there are a big box that shows my themes, Aero themes, etc... Lower than a row of buttons, select the first button is labeled wallpaper. Which opens a new window that has several options in a drop-down list at the top left. Click on that and who says 'Wallpapers' open, and then click Browse.

  Who opens an Explorer window - like that allows you to browse the files on your computer until you find the picture you want. Select the photo in question. Make sure you click on save changes and return. This should give you the picture you want.
