PIXMA MP970 not install on Yosemite 10.10.3

Hello.  I tried for hours to install the PIXMA MP970 on my home network. I don't have the disk. When I look for the driver online, I get this message: "there is no driver for the OS Version you have selected.» The pilot can be included in your operating system, or you may not need to pilot. "I downloaded the Canon IJ Network Tool, but still can't it connect.  I have connected the printer to my new laptop with USB running OS X Yosemite 10.10.3, but no matter how I try to connect to the network, automatically or manually, nothing works.  I made sure that all the printer settings are the same as the network settings. Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you very much, Ramona.  I called Canon that day I posted.  Someone at Canon told me that it would be impossible to use this printer with Yosemite.   So I bought another printer for $68 at Costco.

You are using Safari, the link to get to the error you receive. I used Firefox and the download worked.

The program is installed without problem.

  • El Capitan will not install. Window disappears after pressing the button install.

    Hello world

Looks for some install help. I try to install El Capitan for my Mac Mini. Here are some features:

    Mac Mini (mid-2011)

    OS X Yosemite 10.10.5

Question: El Capitan does not install anything after clicking on the button after choosing the drive. The window simply disappears and nothing happens.

What other options can I here? I tried to create a new admin user to install the operating system, restarted my computer, re - download the file, etc..

I ran out of options here. Help, please!

  • MacBook Pro comes with El Capitan will not work with Yosemite?

You just bought a Macbook Pro (15 ', i7, 16 GB, 512 flash ") which comes with El Capitan and apparently I can't install Yosemite.

I have the audio hardware and software which is more stable on yosemite by many accounts... After spending $ 3,500, I think I should have the ability to run the previous operating system (Yosemite)... very unhappy about it... as I use my rigging professionally and it's for me real time waster

I have been informed by mac support to return my mac and get the old stock with a reseller... what a joke!

Is there a real physical limitation or is it the IEF / SIP / MSC?

    Can anyone offer a solution?

    Thank you

    George

Well, the line official company has always been that you can not install older software OS on a Mac than the version it came with.

That said, I can say that I have indeed to install older versions of the operating system on some computers, (the Mac Pro towers). You will find very little written on the question of whether or not you will succeed. I make a backup of everything, the partition of the hard drive and try.

It has been my experience you can usually return at least a version of the OS, but there is no guarantee.

  • Creating cloud has not installed correctly, but it won't let me uninstall it now either

Tried to install creative cloud this week on adobe.com on my Mac (13 ' retina - fundamentally new powerbook) running Yosemite 10.10.1

Unfortunately, it has not installed correctly, and now it does not appear as an application however it does not appear as an icon in the upper right.

Tried to run the unistaller provided with the download and via the Mac utilities however it is active and to close first.

The problem is if you go to force quit it don't think it is running / does not display it is running.

    Can anyone help?

You can contraintsde the activity monitor process.

Finder > Application > utilities > Activity Monitor.

After the end of the process, you can try to reinstall.

  • How to restore a security entrancecode that was not installed by updating to ios10?

Work with the 5s iphone I recently could update to ios10. I did it during the evening. In the morning, I was told the update required an entrycode that was not installed.

I use an entrycode before this and the same works after that.

No longer is my ability to import on my Imac out of the photo on my iphone, it says in Iphoto: cannot import as device is held by entrancecode, you need to unlock the device to import the photo.

  • Sierra of downloaded OS but have not installed. What should I do now?

I downloaded macOS Sierra, but it has not installed. I rebooted the MacBook Air without success. What should I do now to get installed it.

Download and installation are separate steps. You should be able to find 'Install macOS Sierra' in your Applications folder. Double-click it to start the installation. It would really be a good idea to first make a backup complete and bootable.
