  I looked round some and found that some people with this issue had uninstall Google Desktop in order to get the issue resolved.  I suggest that you start with that and see if it solves the problem.  You can see if Google has a tool of suppression for him.  If this isn't the case, then you must use The Windows Installer Cleanup utility to uninstall.

  Setup logs was very good.  Application installed but is not working properly.  Finally got Adobe support and it turns out be a file permissions error.  Had to add applications and myself as accessors of the Lightroom folder under ~/Library/Adobe/ path and set permissions to read & write (was read only for everything except system) and apply to all the cases closed.   Works fine now.  Including this here in case when someone else is going through this issue.

  It is not a good option to have selected as a watch or Sync Desktop folder in file panel Office Lightroom.

  Looks like you were other files such as old presets, filesystem in folders on your desktop.

  The only option is to remove them manually or to recover a backup of backups of Lightroom Catalog.

  You really don't need the CD of installation anyway.  The only thing you need is the serial number that comes with the drive.  Just download the trial version and install it.  Activate with serial number, which're you good to go.  You may still download in order to have the latest version.

  HP Photosmart 3210 will not install on a brand new desktop running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.  I downloaded the latest software, and when I run it, the installation window disappears shortly after it starts.  No error message.  I ran into several related issues lately.  I can't install a ScanJet 5590 on a new laptop running Windows 7 Pro 32-bit.  Said it ends, but nothing is installed.   Could the fact that there are other HP printers installed on these computers (network printers) installed using driver only before attempting to install the software cause problems?  I spent hours trying to solve these.

  Run the Setup program and comlpete extrction process.

  Once the installation dialog box appears to put an end to this window.

  In Windows Explorer, press and type % temp % fall.

  Locate the most recent installation folder, which begins with 7z (e.g. 7z1234s)

  Open the installation folder.

  Rename the file named usbready.exe in usbready1.exe

  Back a levell and run the Setup.exe file.

  Now follow the installation and check for the difference.
