• Hyperion Planning Version with Windows 7?

  Ideas and experience as to whether Planning Hyperion Version 11.1.2 will work with Hyperion Essbase system 9 running on a Windows 7 computer? I know by experience that you are trying to run Essbase 11 on Windows 7 has been a waste of time.

  If you are talking about products on the server side so I stick to operating systems, windows 7 is ony supported for client elements.

• How can I complete remove a dimension in planning version (11.1.2.2) last?

  I did the process of blow and I can't delete a dimension in the dimension list.
  1. I create a dimension of my project. But now I want to finish remove it.
  2. I have delete all his descendants, and I disassembled his type of valid plan.
  3. refresh the database.
  
  After that, I don't see this dimension in Essbase but it keeps in the dimension of the planning list.

• SmartLists appearing does not in the planning - Version 11

  I have a request of EPMA. I created a 'Bonus_Month' smartlist with all possible values of the month. I have this smartlist associated with a member account. The Member type is set to smartlist and I've specified the 'Bonus_Month' smartlist with this member. I have deployed the application successfully, but for some reason if I connect to the planning and vision, member properties, I don't see the assoiated Smartlist (Bonus_Month) even if the data type I see is smartlist.

  Make sure you have the data type for the account dimension assessment order, otherwise the smartlist values do not appear in web forms. To do this, right-click on the application in the library of dimension, and then select "order of evaluation of data type.

  Now we have a situation to copy data from a scenario/Version to another Version/scenario that happens if the analysis let say,

  When I am going through the blogs, just like writing a file MaXL and call on her, but it is on the oracle cloud do not know if I could use MAXL.

  I am using Hyperion Essbase & planning version 11.1.1.3 applications. I exported QA dataforms and tried to import in the Prod environment, using LCM. But the dataforms do not migrate due to the long name of the dataforms.

• Essbase service starts not (planning 11.1.2.3.501)

  Work with Planning version: 11.1.2.3.501

  This morning we received the following error message in planning when you open a form:

  "Unable to get a connection for Hyperion Essbase. If the problem persists, please contact your administrator. "

  For our UAT environment, it was enough to just stop and start services. For our production environment, all the services seem to be start correctly, but when I try to connect to Essbase through the administrative console I get the following error:

  Error [10061] network: could not connect to [BXTS131040.eu.rabonet.com:1423]

  When I run diagnostics I get the following error (see attachment):

  Validate the connection to the server Essbase to BXTS131040.eu.rabonet.com

  Error: Could not connect to the olap service. Unable to connect to the server of Essbase to 'BXTS131040.eu.rabonet.com:1423 '. Error network [10061]: unable to connect to [BXTS131040.eu.rabonet.com:1423]

  Recommended action: check Essbase server is started.

  The startup log does not say much either. Watch only a different way of exploitation forest (UNKNOWN?) and THREADS is [1 num] rather than [issue 4]. I don't know where to look for this "UNKNOWN" part in the log... see below:

• Change in Hyperion Planning Look-n-feel

  I am facing a strange problem with my Hyperion Planning. Suddenly, he started the very different search...

  Our problem was solved after removing under application properties:

  -SKIN_THEME
  -SKIN_SCHEME_DISPLAY_LABEL
  -SKIN_FAMILY

  I think that there is a bug with the opening of a simplified interface that defined these properties as true and not a not clear when we opened the workspace planning.

  Interestingly, he defined these True properties for applications...

  I created a Dataform, but when I wanted to create Annotations of account, I can't see the option to enable annotations of account in the form of data.

  Page: Scenario (Plan), Version (V1), company (oil, gas, oil and gas), year (FY13)

  Lines: Account (revenue, expenses)

  Columns: Period (Jan, Feb, Mar)

  My requirement is

  Once I entered the values of loads to the oil company, but also the gas for the period January. Then both the values of corresponding business costs should be consolidated and the result will be stored in the Oil & Gas Company for the period Jan. Finally, value of the expenditure for the oil company, but also the gas should get zero.

  Hi all

  I create a form with the period (month jan, Feb and March) and members of the custom called Type dimension in the columns.

  Members of Type dimension I selelcted is Type1, Type2, Adj Type1 and Type2 Adj.

  My requirement is that I want to show Type1 and Type2 columns as READ ONLY where users should not enter data in these two coulmns.

  Is it possible to achieve this requirement.  I use 11.1.2.2 planning version.

  Any suggestion would be appreciated.

  Please follow the steps below to make columns read-only in Hyperion special 11.1.2.2.

  (1) to open the form in edit mode

  2) click on the Layout tab, the Layout tab is open. Please click on the underside of the column you want to do in 'read only' (A, B, C, etc.), if you have three columns, then you might see A, B and C.

  Note: The mouse cursors are very sensitive in the latest version, if you click on the right place, you will get the necessary decorum, otherwise it will appear not all properties.

  In this example, let B column read-only. Exactly to move the cursor to 'B' and click on the right side, you can see a lot of action, click on 'Properties of Segment' and under this 'Read only' option, select this check box to make the column read-only.

• Unable to see IKM Hyperion Planning loading metadata from the file/Tabl

  I am unable to see the IKM SQL for Hyperion Planning Knowledge Module in the stream tab. I have reverse engineered the KM and I see the KM in my project (having only 1 project). I am trying to load the metadata of the file up to planning and selected different refuelling area of target. I was able to debone planning cube models ODI successfully.

  The workaround is

  After you import the IKM, open the KM and go to "Setting"-> "Source Technology"
  Manually change the generic value of 'Technology' of 'SQL' to 'Undefined '.
  Save and proceed with your new creation of interface
