  While I play Chess Titans (Media Center Version, full screen), there are 3 buttons on the top while I play (game vs man, play Vs computer, exit).  These buttons are boring because there is no need of them.  Make a right click on the screen offers these options.  In addition, when you regularly play Chess Titans (not the Version of Media Center and windowed screen), these 3 buttons do not exist.

  To Cancel the changes in the game, you need to start the game. If you're not bale to use the tab game fall down, I suggest you to press Ctrl + z to undo the move and check if it helps.

  To change the appearance, I suggest you to press F7 and check if that helps.

  Method 1: As the first method of resolution, I suggest to uninstall and reinstall the game to Windows features turn on or off and check if the problem persists.

  Follow the steps to uninstall and reinstall the game:

  Step 1: Uninstall the Chess Titans:
  
  1. go to Start and in the search type "Turn Windows features on or off".
  2. Select "Turn Windows features on or off".
  3. go to games and uncheck the mark in front of ""Chess Titans ". "
  4. restart the computer.

  These instructions should work even in Windows 7 or vista

  Windows games are not installed by default in Windows Vista business and Windows Vista Enterprise. To install them, click the button start, click Control Panel, click programs (programs and features) and then clickTurn Windows features on or off. In the Windows features dialog box, select the continental check box, and then click OK. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  Upgrade to new computer from Windows Vista to Windows 7 and everything seems to work fine except the game Chess Titans in the beam of Microsoft games. When you run this game, the display shows the program splash screen and then displays a black screen in and out; and freezes the computer how far I have to restart. It actaully has worked well when I had Windows Vista, it just started to have problems of the the intall of Windows 7.   After the upgrade to Windows 7, I recommend you update the drivers for the graphics card, this could be a problem with drivers for the graphics card, follow these steps to update the drivers:

  1. click on Start.
  2. enter Device Manager to launch the search.
  3. expand display adapter in the Device Manager window.
  4. right click on the device.
  5. click on Properties.
  6. click on Driver tab.
  7. click on update drivers.
  8. click on OK.

  Check if the exclamation points are displayed with the device. The exclamation point indicates a problem with the installed driver.

  Even if the update of drivers does not help, I would say that uninstall you and reinstall the Windows feature set could solve the problem.
