  Hi, I started working with the Mediaplayer and have problems. My first test was to load a rtsp stream, but it does not work. I'm trying to open a video of playbook and it does not work. I've added to my blackberry - tablet.xml following actions

  RTSP is not supported. The documentation does not in this aspect.

• BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry Curve 8330/BlackBerry Storm dilemma

  So I'm a college student and it was just time for a new cell phone and I wanted the BlackBerry Storm. I lived with the case on a particular site that he had a lower price than the initial price. So I was filled out the contract and the end decided, it may be cheaper to get another phone. (Well, I didn't decide it, but it's not the point)

  To remedy this, I'll and checkout the BlackBerry Curve 8330. I'm filling out the contract and I can't seem to achieve the process that it is basically about the same price as the BlackBerry Storm with all the features that are added to the end. I so go ahead and get it.

  Afterwards, I do the calculation and finally realize... "HEY!" For the price, that I might as well have stuck with the BlackBerry Storm'.

  So now, I just wonder, until I myself beat too if there is no reason to fight. Is the BlackBerry Storm really good or I'm better off the coast with the BlackBerry Curve or is it important? I really want to a new touch screen phone and I liked the look of the Blackberry Storm. Not to mention that I think the curve is old enough right. Although I don't like the curve. Then Yes.

  Any input will be greatly appreciated. I just joined just to ask this question so I hope it was worth.

  I have the 8330 and love it! Played with a storm friends - not impressed. But it was when they first came out.  They have a lot of knots that I have heard are getting worked.  A friend on the forum has one, so I don't know that it will give you an update!  ((he got a Christmas present))

  Method 1: Temporarily disable the antivirus on the computer program and check if it helps. If it works, you may need to check the settings of the program.

• BlackBerry smartphones can not disable the device password!

  I was playing with my Storm the weekend and decided to apply a password to the device. Now I can't turn it off and I hate that I am constantly asked for her.   I solved my problem. I did a reset of the handset and that got rid of the option activate the password. However, when I did a backup of subsequent restoration of the handset, I was careful to choose only what I wanted really saved (address book, calendar, etc.). If oyu make a full backup that you will get the active password once you restore again.

  I think I'm finally getting some songs to play on my Storm. And those who are working very well. And I would put my Storm in to the docking station Office so it's to play songs. However, when I do that, I find that play songs (because he wants to prepare to sync), she leaves... even when I do NOT have open office software. • MP3 not "playing on Simulator for storm 4.7. *

  I have a problem where I like to read mp3 in the file system on Simulator.  I have traced the SD card in my pc file system. The code works for all simulators I've tested except models storm running 4.7. *.

  The SIM for 9500 5.0 running works well.  The code has also only a problem for all the ringtones I got from Crackberry ringtones, but it works on my own mp3s.

  I've narrowed the problem to player.start that throws IllegalStateException.  I checked my permissions are ok - IE.  the application has permissions to media.  I checked the files played on the BB Media Player.  the code is pretty generic - get the file connector, open the input stream and start the player.

  Someone sees this sort of thing on storm 4.7* simulators?

  The thread that the above indicates that the solution is to change the AudioPathControl after the media are started.  I put tracing instructions in the code and AudioPathControl.getAudioPath () == before AudioPathControl.AUDIO_PATH_HANDSFREE and after I start the media.

  I use 4.7.0.76 on BB 9530.

  I used the Fund Manager to do an update and 4.7.0.76 is the version that was on the phone when finished.  I know there are versions later, but if most of the phones do not have this version - then my sounds will not play.

  I did my prefetch when I booted the player - I don't understand this part of the code, because it was not relevant to the discussion.

  BTW - person knows if there are release dates to a later version of the operating system - one that will have the correct features for players?  If I can hold off the release soon.

  At the end of the day - he was not changing the audio track that does work, but the volume (as suggested in another thread).  It's REALLY STUPID to have to lose resources system on a thread just to play the sound.

  I have a Windows Vista laptop. My Storm 9530 OS is v5.0.0.419, when I try to watch videos recorded on my Storm 9530, on my Vista computer, I get a message Windows Media cannot play this video (3GP). Is there a way to see these videos on Windows Media Player?

  You need the codec appropriate to do so. I think that QuickTime can be read natively. Or you can search free converters to translate them into a format that WMP will play.

  I recorded some videos from a concert last night and now I try to download on my computer using Blackberry device manager.  I can copy and paste videos in a folder on my computer... but they are always in the .3gp format if my computer will not play them.  How to convert .avi, .wmv, or any other format so that I can read on my computer or publish them online?

• Record audio RTSP stream

  OK im trying to automate a test audio on an IP video encoder. I can find the location of rtsp stream but im not sure were to start on the recovery of the stream. I have VLC playing the flow... I suppose I could run a vlc command line to record a second stream 5? then open the file for evaluation? What I want is direct stream copy in labview, so that I do not need 3rd party tools installed.

  Maybe a .net call for that would help me?

  I get the error Windows Media Player 11.0.6001.7007.  "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file. For any additional help, click Help on the Web frequently. "What happens on the music or video files even those I had on my PC for a long time.  They work some days and other days they don't.  I have to reboot to clear it and it's really annoying. I can read a file and then 10 minutes later the same file will not play.  Sometimes after the error message, if I don't click Close, the video is not yet but the audio will not.

  I'm on a laptop HP DV5 with vista 32-bit and 4 GB memory such that shipped HP (Yes, 4 concerts and 32-bit).

  I don't know if it was related, but IE7 would continually fail to open, click on through the windows and should be completely closed.  essentially the WMV and IE are fails miserably on this laptop, and it was only 6 months old.  Firefox fixes my problem of browser.

  How can I fix this WMV as I can't UN/reinstall with Vista?

  I ran sfc/scannow after completion of the analysis, the results were that "windows resource protection finds corrupted but files could not solve some of them" gives then refers to where the cbs.log file is located. I tried to open the cbs log, and he says that access is denied.

  UPDATE: there seems to be a conflict between WMP and any other application that opens which can play the video with sound.  When I close firefox, and then the videos and sound can play (these same questions happened on IE7 and firefox was installed just yesterday).  I met the same problem with more than Pinnacle video editing software.  Is it possible to change a parameter with WMP as there is no sharing violation during a different application can play the video?

  1. Select Options under the button 'SYNC '.

  2. choose 'other Options '.

  3. click on the tab 'network '.

  4. only check box RTSP/TCP and HTTP and Multicast Streams allow the player Pourrecevoirun multicast stream (which meant I had to uncheck "RSTP/UDP"

  5. click on apply and take advantage of my windows media player.
