Hi I have a PS6010xv which is longer under warranty. We have a failure of HARD drive and when we replace it there is an error that the drive is not approved. The failed HARD disk is having the EE06 firmware. the replacement property that has a label EE06, we found the inside to be EE07 firmware. Is it because the version of the firmware is different so that equallogic can't accept, and does perform a work around?

Re: Joerg you are welcome.  It is covered in the guide of the CLI.

The berries of the 6xxx series all run the same firmware code.  Only certain firmware Dell/EQL would work with these tables. When you replace a drive, Dell synchronize the revision to match the existing drivers before shipment.  So support the joint drive firmware is a must.

Possibly with the older firmware table there is a problem.  If this isn't something I've seen in 10 years at EQL.   What firmware are you running on this table?

First of all, I suggest you try to clear the label, just in case a label of an another RAID array is on the disk.  If that fails, if you can, I remove the drive, restart the table to switch to the passive CM.  Wait 5 minutes, then while logged in, insert the disc.   If you do this on the serial port, you will certainly get messages from the console.   Who might have a clue.

Questions like these highlight the advantage of having the table under contract.

    OK, Dell buys the disc with a customized firmware image.  This info is what you looking for firmware.   A drive of MOE doesn't have that so it is rejected.

    Yes, this is the feature, and it is lit.

    How it works, is that ESET intercepts all your browser connections to filter the content. If it is an HTTP connection, it is transparent. For an HTTPS connection, ESET must present a certificate of 'false' for Firefox site so it can be the "man in the middle" and decipher and read the answer (otherwise, it's gibberish, of course).

    ESET is supposed to insert his signature certificate in both the Windows certificate store (used by IE and Chrome) separated from Firefox AND the browser certificate store accepts the false certificates. But it does not always work. In this case, you can import the certificate manually in Firefox. If all goes well, which has been covered in the manual, but otherwise it's basically along these lines:

    (1) search or save a copy of the ESET signature certificate (it is a file in DER format that usually has the .cer extension). Is your second screen shot what appears when you click View Certificate? Try this:

    • Click the Details tab, click the button "Copy to File. This will start the Export Wizard.
    • In the wizard, choose the DER format and save in a suitable location (for example, your Documents folder).

    (2) import the file into Firefox as follows:

    • In Firefox, open the Certificate Manager to:
      "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced > mini-onglet Certificates > "view certificates" button.
    • Click on mini - the References tab, then on the 'Import' button and find the DER file. Note: I suggest allowing the certificate for websites only.

    Hi vijaysampath, please make sure first that the date, time, and time zone are set correctly on your system. If this does not solve the problem (or it is already set correctly), a possible solution depends on different factors:

    • What is the error code indicated under Technical Details on the error page?

    in case the error code is equal to sec_error_unknown_issuer, please try to add an exception on the bottom of the error page to verify the certificate, as shown on the attached screenshot:

    • What information about the issuer of the certificate contain?

    I noticed a pop-up, named "BROWSERSAFEGUARD" who has attempted to set my computer to a "cleaner" for a price. I checked in my installed programs if there was a "Browsersafeguard" and he was there. I uninstalled it, check "incompatible with my system" and my computer turned on like never before.     Unfortunately, certificates of do_not_trust could be a sign of unwanted software on your pc that is to intercept the secure network traffic. go to the system control panel and uninstall programs such as BrowserSafeguard, BrowserSafe, backup or other software that seems suspicious and did not get intentionally installed by you.

    I just installed a cost of windows xp on my pc and I use the 26.0 last FF, but early on, I can't to certain pages, as in youtube, does a few pages and I get page "this connection is not approved", in technical details, it says"youtube.com uses an invalid security certificate, the certificate is not reliable because no transmitter channels are provided.     also, when I opened FF modules manager Extensions tab, appearance, Plugins and Services are ok but the tab modules get does not work, I get the same page I mentioned above with the same technical details (instead of youtube.com is services.addons.mozilla.org) and the same error.
    I tried all the solutions on the web and on this forum as reset FF, set the time / date, using the add-on 'Ignore the cert error', delete the file cert8.db and so on--none of them helped me with this problem.
    If it helps I use Avast! antivirus and Firewall window, no other software on this computer.

    Note that some firewall monitors connections (sure) and that programs like Sendori or Fiddler (FiddlerRoot) can intercept connections and send their own certificate instead of the certificate of the Web site.
