  I spent by the procedure of how create the DLL of simulink models http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/D70E74FDA37CD8E486257990000603A0 the and have not been able to successfully build the DLL for my model.

  I installed Visual Studio 2008 and I can see the Relatime Veristand workshop added to matlab. However, I get the below error.

  I have the good set compiler but I'm not able to solve this error. I've also attached the text file that contains the log for the build process.

  (1) have you configured MATLAB to use the compiler to MSVC ++ 2008? If not, then just type mex - configure in the MATLAB command window and follow the printed instructions.

  (2) open Windows command prompt and type % NIVERISTAND_ROOT, and then press ENTER. The call to this environment variable returns C:\VeriStand? If this is not the case, then please add this environment with the value of C:\VeriStand variable to your system and restart the PC. To do this, follow the instructions as described in the link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310519

• Manipulation of the KING

  Hi guys,.

  Part of my current LabVIEW project involves me using a video stream, and the user will have to draw several Kings on the power supply.

  I would like to be able to allow the user to use an interface buttons to control the creation and the removal of the Kings, as opposed to the rather rough "n" ready approach "hold the key ctrl + click. Ideally, I'd like there to be a button display 'Create KING' that will create a ROI (rectangular) image, which the user can then move and resize as they see fit. I would also like an option 'Remove the KING', where the user will specify (perhaps from a drop-down menu) what return on investment that you want to remove.

  I think that this can be done using property nodes, but impossible to achieve real progress on this. How should I go about this?

• Connecting leads to build the array in a VI script

  I'm looking for a way to connect the wires to a knot of "generation table" in a script of VI.

  I have a table of entries that should translate in a table via node 'building the table '. I added successfully to the input terminals for 'building the table' node in a script of VI. However, the program fails when I try to execute a loop to wire all of the entries in the order. The problem is, all the sons of entry to the first element of the' generation '. Snapshot of the code is attached.

  Please suggest me a way to link the different elements at different entrances to the node 'building the table '.

• Application builder cannot build the exe. Error 8 has occurred in AB_EXE.lvclass:Build.vi-> AB_Build.lvclass:Build_from_Wizard.vi

  I bought a new Dell laptop (Windows 10 Pro) and LV 2015 (32-bit) is installed. I copied my project files and tried to build the exe file and received the error 8. After much searching for an answer, I created a minimal test with just a single white vi project and an exe based build spec to reproduce the error with. Whenever I try to build, I get the same error 8:

  An error occurred during the generation of the application. You don't have the appropriate permissions to create the application at the specified location, or the application is in use.

  Possible reasons:

  LabVIEW: File permission error. You do not have the correct permissions for the file.

  I can't quite imagine I could have permissions issues. I of course have full admin on the machine privileges.

  I've seen other messages (like this one) who speak to have Windows Explorer opened the path of construction when it tries to go up and get this error. I made double sure that I don't have ANY Windows Open Windows Explorer, trying to build. There was a mention in one of the positions which perhaps of LabVIEW in current directory is defined in the file generation, but I'm not quite what that means, or why that might happen when there isn't usually prevents me to build on other machines.

  I tried the procedure described in the KB, but no help.

  Interestingly, I have created a virtual machine (Win 10) for a different project and installed LV 2015 32 bits in the virtual machine, and all my applications build very well in the virtual machine. But on OS from my physical machine, I get this error 8 for all construction applications.

  I tried to fix LabVIEW, and also I tried to uninstall reinstall LabVIEW. Nor was the error to go away completely. After the repair, the project has successfully generated once. But subsequent attempts to build fail with the same error.

  My best guess is that some external process is the use of the folder and do not let you write here. The most likely candidates are anti-virus software or a service of indexation of a certain type. I'm guessing that he sometimes managed everything simply because it is a race condition and in these cases, the blocking part yet or is already done.

  You could try the building to a network drive, when these forces are less likely to be able to make the lock or you could try to find a software that shows you what software has handles opened in a folder and control for an offender. I seem to remember that the Process Explorer and SIW show this, but it's far from my area of expertise.

  I just put extra code to check if the current KING is valid or not to cash the size of the table of the global rectangle.

  Invalid KING means no size of table or the same position of x 1 and x 2 (for y, the same thing.) of the rectangle.

  I know this isn't a perfect way to keep the KING, but it is OK for me virtually.

• "Value is invalid or out of range" when you build the project in CVI 2009

  I converted a project to the wire of the CVI 9.0.1 to CVI 2009, and whenever I try to compile the distribution I get immediately the error message "Value is invalid or out of range" and stop the construction.  This error message is not too terribly useful to determine what the problem is, and I don't see anything obviously wrong with the signs of 'change the Installer '.  Any idea what's going on?  Thank you.

  Well, I'm a little confused by what I see. The newspaper confirms my suspicions earlier that one of the values of timer progress cached version is cause of an error. However, the values in the file "TriboScan OFFLINE.cds" you posted appear very well and do not cause an error when I copy in .cds another simple distribution (since I do not have the files to test your actual building distribution). Are you sure that you build the 'TriboScan OFFLINE.cds' distribution? In any case, I recommend a little offending the .cds hand editing. Save first (just in case), open it in a text editor and delete everything between and (that should be all down). This should solve your problem.

• shrink the KING

  Hi all

  I found the return on investment of an (irregular) object using mask IMAQ to the KING. This KING now covers the entire area(100%) of the object.

  I want to reduce the return on investment from all sides, so that only 80% (or any other %) of the area is covered.

  How can I do?

  I would consider the conversion of the KING in a binary image (mask) and by using the function to erode to reduce the size.  It will remove the same number of pixels on all sides, so the form will change, but it works for all forms.  You could perhaps in loop and remove a couple of layers at once until the box is the percentage that you want.

  I need a KING who so defined by an arc, is there a simple way to do this? I can create an overlay of arc via the 'Arc of overlay IMAQ', but can it be converted into a return on investment?

  Unfortunately, there is not a CRA return on investment. But you're on the right track with a ring. First, create a ring with the inner radius equal to the radius of the outside. Then use "IMAQ convert ring to the KING" to create the return on investment. Then move the KING to "IMAQ concentric Rake 3. He must seek the edges along a single arc.

  can someone let me know if changing the colors of the KING when I grouped?

  In terms of getting rid of the extra line, I answered your last thread. What about the color change, unfortunately, return on investment will be one color. You can change this color with a property node, but I don't think that there is a way to change the color of each individual KING (and always keep a return on investment and does not convert the return on investment for an overlay).

  Sorry if this has been posted before, I did the search first, but can't find anything.

  Problem is that I have two configurations which are identical and must be ordered by a single vi. Given that they are the same, they are configured with the same sets of parameters so I decided to create a cluster of these and then build an array of clusters. In this way I need to use only a thread and if I need a given parameter I can get it easily from here (or so I thought) and also because I need to see if anything changes I can compare a thread instead of each of the parameters.

  The gui has the list of parameters, then in the block diagram I group them appropiately, using "Bundle name" and then each bundle in a table by using "build the table. Problem is when I have the index in the array for the first place of the configuration and usage to unbundle the parameters I need, using "ungroup by name" (although if I use "Unbundle" the same thing happens) and lo and behol, the output names come from the configuration of the second, not the first.

  Here's the curious thing, though, even if the names are all wrong, that the values are correct. I could live with that, but it's more boring it will be another very difficult user to understand the schema more this is just a proof of principle to test with two, eventually there will be eight or more and who's going to get really confusing.

  Is there a way to get around this? Even if it is to change the names after unbundling.

  I think you forget an important point on the tables.  The only thing that may be different between each element of a table is its value.  The elements in the array must all share the same properties.  This would therefore include the names of the different elements that make up the cluster that is a table element.

  It seems that the last group that builds in the table is the one that defines the names of the items that are in the element of the cluster.  You must give all elements of the array with the same name within the cluster.  Or use a cluster of clusters rather than a table of cluster to create your data structure.

• Crossroads of the KING

  Hello, I wonder if it is possible to create an area of interest in the area of the intersection of two other Kings.  I am creating a semicircular KING, and I've defined a rectangular KING who defines a circular, which defines the corners and edges.  What I want is a KING resulting unique which consists of areas inside of two of them (intersection, union steps).  Is there a way to do this?

  You can do this by creating masks of image corresponding to the Kings, ANDing, and then re-create a new return on investment based on the resulting image.

  The KING that results will be a polygon. VDM include screws that allow to create masks of Kings and vice versa.

• How to move the King with the castle on the titans of chess?

  I'm not sure of what is called the movement but in titans of chess, the computer moves the King with the Castle, how to make the same move? I'm new to this, so any help would be a great help.

  It is called castling.

  You can even move if 1) the King and the Tower never moved, 2) if the King is not in check, move in a square in failure, or end up in failure, 3) there is no room between them.

  You can Castle, by touching the King and you'll see there is an option to pass 2 or 3 squares toward either Rook, who will perform the Castle. Paul Smith - MVP for Windows desktop experience...   Hi sunspotzsz!

  Vision consists of two main steps: acquisition and image processing.  IMG_ATTR_ACQWINDOW_WIDTH would the acquisition, and IMG_ATTR_ROI_WIDTH should be part of the treatment.  Therefore, if you set the ACQWINDOW_WIDTH to 100 so that numbers all pixels that are acquired will be set to 100, and they will be stored in a buffer.  ROI_WIDTH will use an image that is already in memory and 'zoom' so that the only part of the image you are watching / treatment.
