• Vista does not recognize videos on my SD from Panasonic camera card.

  I have a Panasonic HD camera and record pictures and video on this subject. When I connect the camera to my computer Vista OS ACER 5515, it only reads the photos and not the videos, when I connect the same camera to my XP system, I have no problem with transfer of videos. The same camera software is on both computers. How can I get this problem corrected?

  2. what happens when you try to access the videos?

  3. what happens if you copy the videos from the camera to a folder on your hard drive?

  4. What is the file format or the file of the video file extension?

  This can occur if a video file type is not supported on Vista.

  Can you please check if you have the latest version of InDesign, if not, please update InDesign and republish your doc again (with video).

  In addition, please can you me the name of the video you are trying to download? Some special characters may cause conflicts during the download.

  If the videos require Flash, you can copy the Chrome URL and watch videos. Chrome has a built in flash player.

• You Tube is not playing video on Firefox with Adobe Flash after the last update

  You Tube and other sites do not play video on Firefox with Adobe Flash after the last update for both. Adobe Flash works on other sites but not You tube and sites that can have embedded videos from You Tube, I'm not sure.

  Adobe Flash not crushed and no error message is visible. All that shows is a black screen for Flash video. Make a right click of the screen shows only a non-interactive 'a film has not loaded' and the clickable link to the home page of Adobe.

  I spent an hour trying things as suggested for past problems similar to this, but none helped.

  I sent sad face, letting you know what I think of the last update for this reason which explains pretty much the same thing, as I have said here.

  I have no other info but if I had a form any entry and queries you I might be able to provide more.

      I think the Flash 12.xx is a phantom. I can't find it on my comp. Only 13.xx shows anywhere but on the Pugins page in Firefox.

     About the .Js I cannot find a User.JS in the profile folder but ther is a user.bk and other files that have.json. Should I do anything with these?

  I love firefox videos esp. Much better than the internet explore and chrome. Very stable and smooth. He played very well and then crashed. I thought it might be a few programs I uninstalled as shockwave who played hell with my computer. I uninstalled and reinstalled mozilla firefox and adobe flash player, but still could not play videos you tube, or golf revolution, etc. I took a screenshot, but I do not see an attachment to send you. It says I have to update adobe flash player or adobe flash player is required for video playback, which I have already done several times but it still doesn't appear in my firefox plugins. Please notify.

  It's all in the title really. FF does not appear videos. In Youtube, the screen is black, apart from the red button 'play' in the middle. When I click on play it says "an error has occurred."   Hey mick3690, this is probably due to the recent update of the plugin to version 11.3 adobe flash. It has caused similar problems for many other users (chrome & IE get provided with a different version of the plugin by adobe).

  You can try to remove flash 11.3 of the section of the configuration/program windows downgrade to an earlier version & Control Panel, until adobe fixes these problems.

  I can't wtch anything on fierfox wich is in motion (video). An update to adobe came when I started my computer. I have install the update. After that I started firefox and then came something popout. I pressed to cancel before I read the popout. I think that's the problem. Now, I can't watch videos on youtube or any other site. But with google chrome it works excellent. Sow there is nothing wrong with adobe flash player.

  As you can see that there are several possible causes of problems, but at the moment most of the problems are down to an improvement in security in Flash Player.

  If use you Real Player, if so disable which and try again, it will cause problems after the changes.

  I hope that someone has had the experience of a similar question to mine, I have a * Toshiba Satellite A300 * which is a couple of years old, but has been problem free until the last two weeks.

  The question:
  -Laptop turn on but does not post, power tubes, display work etc.
  -Let the battery fully discharged and now the power button for 60 seconds will sometimes allow the laptop to work again, but this work around less frequently works all the time.
  -The problem is the same with or without battery
  -Probably adapter works as the laptop occasionally works and works of battery/power LED

  Why the laptop power it will prevent start from time to time?
  Tips or advice would be great, apparently not a major hardware problem and it certainly doesn't seem to justify a replacement yet.

  Hmm... I guess that if only sometimes maybe it's a malfunction of the equipment. If your computer doesn't start it has nothing to do with Windows so it of not a software problem.

  Do you have the hardware upgrades to the last time? Perhaps the new RAM module is not compatible or something else.
  You can see the RAM modules to find errors using Memtest86.

  In the worst cases, the error is related to the motherboard and it is an expensive part of notebook.
  Is your laptop under warranty? Whether an ASP can repair free of charge.

• Pavilion Desktop PC p7-1414: DVD will not play video

  All of a sudden my DVD will not play on my computer.  DVD will play the data but not video.  Check Device Manager, which States that the device is functioning properly.  Insert other discs that have always played, but now they are not. Videos will play, however, on television.  No new hardware installed to cause a conflict. Checking for updates for the driver, but there are no new updates/drivers to install.

  Success... Thanks a lot for the downloads.  I currently have 8 CyberlinkPower2Go for burning, but the best new version I guess.  Maybe he would correct music hushed on broadcast television.  Thanks again... you saved a LOT of frustration!

  2. this happens with all DVDs you play?

  3. do you get an error message?
