  I solved my problem...

  To temporarily disable closing kick, after that the warning popup will appear, I went the prompt commands and typed in 'shutdown-a' so I could help out.

  Then I went in under the Application Event Viewer and saw that some services weird I don't need anyway did not start because they had missing information/dll registry info.  It was originally the svchost.exe service to fail (and default recovery for this is to reboot)

  I stopped the weird service (in this case, it was Hello) because I didn't need anyway, and went into the properties of this service and past earlier in "Manual" "automatic".

• Please help, audio problem with XW6600 and NVS 315

  Greetings:

  I just buy a renovated, XW6600 Xeon dual processor, 8 GB of RAM, Windows 7 Professional 64 bit system.  The PC comes with a nVidia NVS 290 graphics card.  Everything works fine and the speaker in the motherboard Jack produces sounds.  However, when I change the NVS 290 with a NVS 315 (it is a HP 720837-001 replacement part), the sound stops working.  The speaker in the systray icon has a red circle with an "x" in it.  If I right click on the speaker, the playback device, it shows two TV as icon one above the other with a red arrow pointing down and a description on the righ side saying "Digital Audio (HDMI) high definition Audio Device not connected.   I have the same result in 64-bit Windows 8.1.  The problem is resolved, if I reinstall the NVS 290.  For both cards, I use the latest version of the nVidia Driver and driver HP.  Am I missing something?

  Any help to solve this problem is greatly appreciated.

  First of all, you want to be sure to load the latest version of the BIOS on this xw6600.  It is from the end of 2012.

  I met this problem several times... do not know if these suggestions will help, but I think that your experience may be related to previous losses audio when the latest drivers are loaded that contain "pilot high-resolution audio" in the game of video driver.

  The current Quadro NVS 315 W7 64 bit graphics drivers Quadro ODE 320.92, which work well in my xw6400, xw6600 and xw8400 workstations running several types of cards Quadro FX and NVS.  If you have used the standard installer downloaded and used the standard "recommended" install that he threw into about 5 pieces, that only one you really need (selected by default single main driver in a custom installation).  That's all I use now, throughout my nVidia installs, and I also check the clean install box on the last page before loading begins in the custom installation path that I go down.   So, to charge fees, I first uninstall anything nVidia via the control panel and then hunt around on drive C for nVidia remains in the trash.  This includes any folder with nVidia in its title, including temporarily enable Show hidden files and folders in the tab views in the Folder Options Control Panel.  I then reboot and finally make this unit "clean install" - checked - technical of custom installation.

  Try this approach first... it's easier.  You might have luck, and audio can return.

  One of the elements that was installed in the "recommended" non-custom installation was a driver of nVidia high-resolution audio.  This seems to conflict with / replace the RealTek driver who was using your audio RealTek chipset on the motherboard.  I discovered that there is a part of BIOS for those workstations which is usually hidden, but sometimes becomes visible with installing drivers high-resolution audio.  F10 in the BIOS, go to the Advanced tab, down for the terminal Options and check if rebalanced Audio appears just above monitor follow-up.  If he was not hidden by the nVidia high-resolution audio driver load then it will virtually always disable status.  Change to activate, F10 to save the change and BIOS don't forget to save changes on exit and F10 again when BIOS asks.

  We got exactly that occur as a result of installing the drivers nVidia GeForce to a GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST on a xw8400 and I saw that happen with these latest nVidia Quadro driver packages, too.

  This is the second best method to solve the problem, if it works.

  Another approach is to save your current BIOS settings via replicated in the BIOS Setup, load into my settings to clone xw6600 (attached) and see if the sound comes back like that.  Sometimes integrated Audio remains hidden when we F10 in the BIOS, but my clone settings was set correctly even though the option remains hidden.  You can open the attached CPQSETUP. TXT file with Notepad and Find allows you to do a search for "audio"... the second shot will be the Audio integrated, one.  Note that it is configured to allow this clone... He usually lies in a status of disable, otherwise.

  You can edit it with Notepad, except that, and charge that the version of your original settings of the BIOS using replicated Configuration changed if you want to use this technique with other types of work, such as the xw8600 workstations.  You will always find this entry via this method, even though it is hidden when you look directly into the BIOS, so it's a good thing to know.

  It is the third most easy.

  Fourth... you start dinking autour with drivers in Device Manager.

  Replicated configuration function of the BIOS with a USB, it is very easy to save your original BIOS settings, try another set of settings and return to your original if you wish.  The clone CPQSETUP. TXT file can be edited by hand (with caution) to convert a Disable to activate, for example, saved and then downloaded into your BIOS firmware.  If you want to try attached BIOS xw6600 clone settings make sure to change off the coast of the "xw66002" so that only CPQSETUP. TXT is on your USB... Replicated configuration works which with a file named exactly that.

  I posted here a few days on exactly the configuration of the workstation this clone has been optimized dethrone archive on it.

  Finally, please post back with your findings because it has become a more common problem, and the more data we have here: it is likely, we will find the fastest solution boilerplate.

• HPE-495 desktop - HARD drive is u/s, please help to rebuild with SSDS

  [[2 TB Hitachi SATA 3.0 GB/s] HARD drive GL8E]. The current failed HARD drive is connected to the sata1 and there is a spare on the motherboard sata2. Spare power supplies available [CH 4 & ch 5]. Office was running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

  I would like to install a 840 EVO Samsung 250 GB SSD SATA 3 with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Service Pack 1 and a second [still undecided 2 TB Western Digital SATA 3] as data drive.

  These discs are backaward compatible with the existing architecture of SATA - y at - it all isuues with this proposal, would I need to make changes to the BIOS, other than this initial boot off dvd player to install the new windows on the ssd drive?

  If you replace the current HARD drive with SSD in SATA1, new in SATA2 HARD drive and let the CD/DVD in SATA3 on your HP Pavilion Elite HPE-495uk desktop, your computer should boot the Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit DVD into the CD/DVD drive. This assumes that the disks are new with absolutely no data on them. You may need to, press the "ESC" key or the "F # ' suitable for your computer, select the CD/DVD drive as a boot device.

  I have an Animation of edge with a background color of #ffa800

  I imported a video after affects that has a transparent background.

  Research tells me that the video is never really transparent, so I'm creating a solid layer in AE, placing video on it and setting the blend mode 'screen '.

  I now have a video with a background color of the #ffa800.

  However, when I export / view the video output and import in my project of edge to animate the background color of the video is disabled and does not match my background of edge animate.

  I spent all day experimenting with different export made direct EI options and also through Media encode. IM now completely stumped.

  I also tried setting the video background color #ffa800 and masking then my video. It keeps me from having to use a "screen" blend mode, but I get the same exact results.

  Could someone please give me some advice on where I'm wrong please. The bottom is so close, but either slightly darker or more clear that I put that spoils the overall animation effect I want to create.

  Lack of information exact system, rendering settings and so forth person can tell you a lot. That said, there are a few fundamental failures in your plan. First of all, web colors do not mean anything in AE or in most graphics programs than elsewhere because of the object of little quantification management and possibly color errors. Whatever colors you compose, do it using the normal RGB sliders. Second, blend modes are not transparency, even if for mathematical reasons, the formula mixture may appear to eradicate certain colors. Third, you must take into account the values of Gamma. Video is not linear mixture and time your screen of computer as well as the video content itself may have a built-in Gamma value. Thus, your merge operation could already produce erroneous results as a light mist, the encoding of the video file could introduce Gamma tilt and then finally in the last step, any tool that you use to view perhaps apply dynamic corrections thus or in reverse, not at all. So this is essentially to check these things and properly calibrate / setting of your monitor and your system color settings and make use of color in AE management, if any. However, in the end, you always see minor deviations of color. It is inherent in how compressed formats like H.264 work. You can only try to minimize as much as you can.

  I use Dreamweaver CS3 and have built a certain (low) sites previously so not a perfect beginner, but am totally thrown by my CSS does render does not correctly in a new site I am building.

  I've implemented a new model, all work very well, full CSS included, noticed in the browser ok.

  Then created 2 new pages from this model "Aug.html" and "Oct.html" and recorded the two - both pages contain a link to the other and both preview in the browser on their own.

  However when I click on the link on the page is, not moving no matter what page I start with, the result is the same, the new page that opens seems to forget half of the CSS, div completely and links are back to blue and underlined, everything is changed as if there is no CSS at all.

  Why does the CSS work here? I've never had this problem before, the CSS is simple, I have about 6 div contains everything, including a #wrapper. the body tags and one: links preview all fine until I click and the new page that opens loses its CSS. There is no accessibility / compatibility or upcoming issues.

  Please help - have tried a lot of different things, now I'm completely lost! I know it must be simple, but I really can't find a reason why, really need help with this.

  You need to refer to what happens when you PREVIEW a page in DW, is - that correct?  In other words, get you an overview of the page, click on the link to page B and page B will appear without the CSS - correct?  Here's why-

  Your link to the style sheet is a link to the ROOT (see the first "/"?).  When loading the B page after clicking on the link in the first page, it tells the browser to find the style sheet to "C:/2012LG_CSS.css" because the browser has NO idea where the root of the site DW is and assumes that the root in the link refers to the root of the hard drive.  Normally, you would not use relative links root, unless there is a good reason to do so-in your case, I am sure that you do not have.  Edit this link to a document a relative, i.e.

  and things work much better.

  Hard drive appears to be faulty.

  It seems that you have current backups, so you should be able to recover if the drive completely fails.

  Run disk utility to repair the disk and also check the SMART State.

  When a player starts to falter, it is almost certain, it will fail. There is really no cover failures of IO because it indicates that the player no longer has the ability to remap bad blocks.

  If you have AppleCare, you can probably still get it replaced. However, they are fairly cheap these days and quite easy to replace yourself.

• weird problem with new screen, please help

  Hello people,

  I hope someone can help. I am using windows 7 Home premium and I hope it is a simple solution that someone has met before. It's just that I don't know how to describe it so can't type into google to find an answer.

  This happens in all programs, Firefox, ms word Opera, basically any window I opened. The bar menu at the top of the screen is a transparent white color and everything works well, but after 50 or 60 seconds, it turns into a transparent, I can still read the Word editing, display etc. file. This is where the scroll wheel on the mouse and what I'm typing stops working. When I type something with the mounted volume, all I hear is a single beep whenever I tap on a button, but nothing is actually typed. Now, all I have to do is click anywhere in the window and it works again, but only for 50-60 seconds. I had to click on the screen twice since I started typing this because when I look at the screen, everything I typed is not there because the menu bar's transparent again while I was typing. Its driving me crazy.

  I don't remember what is a problem before, if it was I would have surely noticed. The only thing that has changed is I had been using my 32 LCD TV as a screen for a long time, but I moved and did not bring my TV with me, so I use the PC came with the computer screen. It's a PC I bought my sister a few years ago so I never used the PC screen that comes with it so don't know if it happened when she or what, she has, she can remember either. I have a updated driver, did not work. Changes the settings in customize and cannot do it helped either.

• Card problems or video driver with a N200, please help!

  I have a lenovo 3000 N200, that's really cool, works even at games very well, including the most recent.

  But, is it normal that the pilot program display for freeze-out in Warcraft 3? He always does that when you access the list of cards in the game and after 3-5 minutes during a real game. It defines the resolution up to 640 X 480 (from 1280 X 800) and in 16 colors. I have to reset it to get it to work. Also, it does the same thing in Spore - if after seeing the pilot written for Spore installed, (that I downloaded from the lenovo site) I have not encountered this problem far. In addition, Second Life stops - Fortunately it does not freeze the drivers. I understand that the model I have is not designed for the game, but if it can run Warhammer 40 k: Soulstorm with graphics settings meduim (on the widescreen) without a lagg I do not understand why it would not be able to manage warcraft 3 - even a m200 express ATi can manage. I mean that a X 3100 to Intel must be much more powerful. (ATi said card lagg with older games like Unreal Tournament)

  I have the latest version of the - official - driver and a Win Xp pro Sp2. I always keep my system updated - register for Essilor, but until this driver has not need sp3 - and cleaned viruses.

  Ooh, it seems that I was right, my problems stems from the incompatibility of the software.

  Namely the based opengl driver (this igfx something of the file that is in the rror reports I receive).

  I solved the problem with Warcraft 3, you have to click with the right button on the icon of warcraft 3 and type the destination line (just after the second "")-opengl or - swtnl. (or - d3d, nota bene, who has not worked for me)

  Although even now it's not as pretty as on my table top pc, it works fine and farily good graphics.

  I think your problem is similar to mine and is amplified - sort of - by Vista somehow, it seems to cause a more severe software incompatibility.
