While I understand can be displayed in all uppercase because of a vision problem, it is not normal convention for several reasons.  It is generally more difficult to read and it is considered "shouting" in text format by many people (so headlines like "WAR OVER" are in all capital letters while the headlines like, "Windows 8 planned for release in autumn 2012"are in the normal mixed character formatting.)

Your first question... I've based solely on your validated information, don't know, what you are referring.  You say that you "cannot get in because that security blocking [you]... "but you don't say * that * you can not enter.  How do you get to what request you credentials (username and password) and make sure that you enter all what you have always been included before?  Make sure that the CAPS-LOCK and NUM-LOCK are disabled on your keyboard.

Your second question seems to revolve around your e-mail account.  Not knowing who is your email service provider - my suggestion is for you to contact them directly in order to help you solve.  You may have a configuration problem in any email client (Outlook, Windows Mail, Windows Live Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird, etc.) that you use - if you use one.  Alternatively you can also verify that your username is what you have always used, your keys to LOCKING of the CAPS and CAPS LOCK NUM-are off and you might need your email service provider to reset your password.
