Please wait Setup message

Help!  "" Everytime I try to open the HP Photosmart Essentials, I get an error message reads, "Please wait while windows configures scan" (I'm not scanner!), then I get a new pop-up, readings, "the component you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other device that is not available" and then it asks me to "insert the dsk scan and click OK.  I do not have a "scan disk" and I'm just trying to OPEN the darn library / downloader/printer (essentials) program.  So then I click 'Cancel' and I get "error 1706 not a valid source" then I click OK and the shubang everything again all, and more again and again, until I finally "end task.  What is going on???  I tried to uninstall and install all the HP drop 3 times now.  I'm SO frustrated!

Maybe it's looking for the file scan.msi on the game CD. If you have, then the insert in the error message, click Browse and locate the Scan.msi file at this location:

X:\setup\scan\scan.msi (replace X with the letter of the CD-ROM drive).

can you try these steps and tell me what is happening?

One option is to remove web services, and then turn it back on. Unfortunately if you have customized the ePrint address, you will never lose it. You can always create a new address, it cannot just be old.

HP has a support group of service based for Cloud related issues. This means no warranty or support costs.

    Hello

Every time that connect us to servers of TS farm, the profile of the user load for a long time and she stays with a message "Please wait for the user profile service" for longer than 5-6 minutes. We work in two areas which is configured as "an endorsement of forest transitive way." The domain (domain A) with TS farms hence connect us a cross forest profile disabled so we cannot load the roaming profile in this area, whereas another domain (domain B) roaming profile user's roaming profile.

Also in the directory the Active directory of the domain B, TS/RDS settings is enabled for the problematic profile.

TS / RDS--> roaming profile path and TS home folder is configured. TS/RDS settings is configured because we use other farms of machines/TS citrix other than the one in which there is problem.

When disable us TS/RDS of the directory settings active directory domain B, then it is extracted to improvement in time. But we're in a situation were we cannot disable TS/RDS settings as we use other Citrix machines also. So we tried configuration GPO in A TS domain as

Which allows to "allow only the local user profile".

Allowing 'profiles itinerant Prevent password propagation to the server.

This allows to "Allow asynchronous user group policy processing when you connect via Terminal Server Services"

But still, there is no improvement in the time taken by the server to connect. What is the adjustment to make in the field of A TS, such that he will not try to charge the roaming of the B domain user profile, even if TS/RDS settings for the user profile are configured?

Original title: 2 numbers do not know if they are related

I have 2 questions and I don't know if they are related. Several days ago I was doing some cleaning and uninstalling programs to free up space. I don't know what I started with, but it seemed to go ok. However, after all that I've tried to uninstall gave me the message: Please wait until the current program has finished uninstalling or one. I rebooted the computer more than once during this period, but it still says that.

Then my internet explore has stopped working just for 2 or 3 days. I've been using google chrome to access things, but it is rather slow.
I ran repeated virus and malware scans my norton security and the microsoft Web site, and all said I am clean.

Yes, it's windows 7 I appreciate the suggestions, but the problem was that he wouldn't LET me not uninstall anything. He gave me the waiting message please do anything, and he's not missing if I stopped and restarted. Finally, I gave up. I saved my files to my external hardrive and just do a full recovery of the computer. He solved the problem of installed programs and the internet problem explore both, although I hoped it would avoid going that drastic.

    Hello

    ·        You are able to boot into safe mode without any problem?

    ·        Did you do a fresh install with formatting or without formatting the hard drive?

    Method 1:

I suggest you to disconnect all external peripheral devices that are connected on the system such as (printers, scanners, etc.) and check if you are able to boot to the desktop.

    Method 2:

    Step 1:

I suggest to start in safe mode and check. Follow the steps mentioned below.

    a. restart the computer and keep tapping F8 until you reach the start menu.

    b. Select the startup options safe mode and press to enter.

If you are able to boot into safe mode without any problems then, it might be a problem with the graphics card drivers that are installed on the system. I suggest to disable the video card drivers from the start in safe mode and then try to boot to the desktop and check.

    Step 2:

To turn off the graphics card driver, follow the steps mentioned below.

    a. click on Start menu and click Control Panel.

    b. click System and click the Hardware tab.

    c. click the Device Manager button and right-click on the graphics card driver that is present.

    d. click on uninstall and then try to boot to the desktop and check.

    Thanks and regards.
