I have an external PLSQL procedure that dynamically creates a report out of the HTML tags that I then called an anonymous block APEX PLSQL. I'm making bad images with the following code:
in the external procedure. How do you get around that? (NOTE: the procedure is too big to store directly in the APEX)

Hi Paul,.

You can use the global variable of the APEX package below to get the image prefix in pl/sql. Of course, your procedure should be in APEX, schema analysis application.

I use 10g DB (like my access system), EBS 11.5.1
I created a trigger (before_update) with the line
: new.last_update_by: = fnd_global.user_id;
but get the error PLS-00201: identifier ' FND_GLOBAL. User_id' must be reported error.

Please help out me.

It's been a while since I've done the triggers with the E-Business Suite, but it might be a requirement to have the trigger in applications rather than your custom schema schema. The apps schema should have full access to your custom schema (which he would get if the schema is correctly registered by using the form).

And the other question, I would ask why you need it... Why don't your custom code to do this update systematically. You should also read Thomas Kyte stuff on the triggers.... (asktom.oracle.com, search for triggers).

pntools Setup error / component of virtual user profiles

Hello

I try to install pntools on a windows 2008 r2 server. I need to do this because I want to silo an application server.

http://documents.quest.com/DOC28931 "before a Session host can participate in a silo, the virtual user profiles component must be installed on the server."

And if I'm not mistaken this tool is part of the pntools?

desktop experience is installed...

but when pntools installing, I get an error:

Hello Sander,

VWorkspace PNtools cannot be installed on a Windows Terminal Server or RDSH server is not a supported configuration. You can install only on a VDI or Windows Server PNtools without the active role RDSH.

The Terminal Server vWorkspace / role of RD session host installs the components required for virtual user profiles. The correct installation process would be:

1. install Windows 2008 R2

2. Add the role of the Desktop Session host remotely

3. install the Terminal Server vWorkspace / RD Session host role (and other required roles)

4. use the vWorkspace Console to configure user profiles virtual as required.

Business event does not trigger the PLSQL procedure... What should do?
We need to call a plsql procedure when the workflow approval GL ended with approval. I thought I could do it by customizing the relevant business event.

We are on EBS 12.1.3 with RDBMS: 11.2.0.3.0.

I see the event oracle.apps.gl.Journals.journal.approve company has been disabled currently. I've enabled and created a subscription for her. Subscription was a PLSQL procedure. Currently, for objective test only thing it does is to insert a row in a table.

Using query I can see the event company is called when occurs below approval (an added line each time approval that has happened). But I don't see all the lines in the table where to insert a line. What could go wrong? How can I make sure that the procedure was called?

I have to pass another function of the effect and the County, tried doin as below:

This property returns a saying "identifier effect must be reported.

I need to pass those values to registration in the service type, how more of this coming?

I was wondering why I get this error even if I stated the PREV_STS_CD

What line do you think that you said PREV_STS_ID on? As far as I can see that the IF statement is the first mention of it in your code. My guess is that you mean PREV_STATS_ID_IN (goes the same for STAT_CD / STAT_CD_IN).

If you write
```

```
then "do_something_here" will be processed regardless of the IF condition. I think what you probably wanted was something like
```
IF prev_sts_cd_in = stat_cd_in

```
Is it possible for the prev_sts_cd and the stat_cd null? The test above would not handle this.

Also, as others have mentioned, the first INSERT statement attempts to insert the strings like "ROW_ID_IN" you probably want to use the value of the ROW_ID_IN parameter, which is the reason why you get the error ORA-01858. I'm guessing here of course, but I took out the quotes.

That would make your code something like this:

Try to install the patch by starting the computer in selective startup mode (also known as a clean boot state).

Cause:	A device has a configuration issue preventing it from working correctly.

Resolution:	1. check that the correct driver is installed.
	2. try updating the drivers using Windows Update.

Mscank is a file system driver that may be associated with any device.

Device Manager open to check what hardware device is not working properly on the computer, and then uninstall it.

(a) open Device Manager by clicking the Start button.

(b) click on Control Panel, click system and security, and then, under System, click Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Once you find any device with any brand, right click on the device and then click on the option to Uninstalland restart the computer and check if it works.

If you can't find any device with all brands then check by activating hidden devices.

(a) in Device Manager click on view and later click on Show hidden devices and check to see if you find any device with exclamation point and uninstall

If the previous step fails, run Windows update to check and install the update from the recommended on the computer device driver.
