Plugin and vCO AD user attributes

Hi @ all.

I'm trying to get the attributes of the user within a workflow orchastrator of AD. But it seems, that the attributes are not read by the plugin or do I have an error in the script?

Thanks in advance.

The Script:

System.log ("= all attributes =");

var attributes = User.allAttributes;

for each {(attrib in attributes)

System.log ("attribute:" + attrib.name + "(" + User.getAttribute (attrib.name) + ")" "");

}

System.log ("= end task =");

The journal:

[13:32:56.233 2014-03-10] [I] = all attributes =.

[13:32:56.234 2014-03-10] [I] = end task =.

Please see this thread: allAttribute - he is discussing the same thing. Christophe & I have both provided feedback here.

    Best regards

In earlier versions, there was LDAPProvider which was replaced by JpsUserProvider to 11g. This component allows you to do a bit in the interface, but there are a few more options which do not seem to be documented. For example, if you have a HomePhone field and enter 123456789 inside and then empty, by default, the JpsUserProvider component will not empty field the Complutense University of MADRID. You can change this by entering ClearMissingAttributes = true in the provider.hda file. Or if you want to use the credentials, you will need to change provider.hda with ProviderCredentialsMap = name_of_map (my source for the latter was the ECM blog at http://blogs.oracle.com/ecmarch/2011/03/).

For more information on JpsUserProvider, look in the Administrator's Guide:

  • Firefox crashes all the time, this list is not in safe mode. What is the difference instead of the plugins and supplements?

My browser crashes every time and I must reduce and restore the browser to make it work. I disabled all add-ins and plugins in 'normal' mode, deleted my profile and created a new one, reset firefox and the problem persists, drunk when I run firefox in mode safe, everything works very well. Is there anything else instead of disabling add-ins and plugins this safe mode doesn't so I do it in standard mode?

Another thing is that my computer is under domain, and other local users on my computer don't have any problem with the browsers.

  • SRA-store outside the Active Directory user attributes

Is it possible to be able to store a custom user attribute, such as Mobile phone number, outside the Active Directory?

I would like to be able to use it on the the email (an email/SMS gateway) 2nd factor authentication process.

I would like to avoid duty or anything else in AD store or having to expose the unit to SonicWALL SRA.

It's something that we do now with our Barracuda SSLVPN device I'm looking to replace it with this.

You can configure a different email for OTP by user.  In admin console click on users > local users.  Change the user you want, and then click the tab linking strategies.  Fill in the email address: field.

  • GBA 5.2 user attributes

I am trying to set up reconfigure dot1x using profile of the single authorisation for all the VLANS.

I added the VLAN as an attribute of the user and specified vlan it.

but when you configure the authorization profile that I try to select the attribute of the user in the common tasks, so I can't find all the attributes in the list to choose from.

can anyone suggest a way to make it work.

My version of the CSA is 5.2.0.26.8

I guess you have added this as a user attribute internal

If so, to select the authorization profile, you must do the following

-by ID/name VLAN, select the 'dynamic '.

-You can now select the dictionary. Select "internal users".

-Now you can select the attribute to use. Press the "Select" key to do

The user attribute appears only if it is of type string

    To my UCM_Server1 content WebCenter.

As I already have a WebCenter content I have to follow the second part of the note

How to install and configure the UI content with WebCenter content 11.1.1.8.0 and 11.1.1.9.0 (Doc ID 1618305.1).

Install and configure content WebCenter ADF WebUI against WebCenter Content Server

Step 1) install the MDS schema

(Step 2), install the Weblogic Server

11 GR 1 material step 3) DOWNLOAD and install Oracle Application Development Framework (11.1.1.6.0) in the new WebUI WLS Middleware House, found here

    Step 4) Download and apply Patch 16, 546 129.

    Step 5) Download and apply Patch 16, 546 157.

Step 6) download and apply the Patch and then 19,469,801, 18,102,108 Patch

Step 7) copy the wccadf files in the field of user interface

Step 8) Oracle on demand services (MDS) metadata registry

Step 9) Place the WebCenter content domain user interface model

Step 10) run the Setup Wizard on the new home of Middleware WebUI to create the new domain

Step 11) updated the Oracle ADF of shared libraries

Step 12) start the domain WebUI administration server

Step 13) Save target Managed Server with the MDS repository and create the metadata partition

Step 14) start the server managed WebUI.

Step 15) associate UI WebCenter content to Content Server.

Step 16) reboot the WebUI ADF server managed.

    Step 17 access the WebUI

Step 18) complete the Configuration of the workflow

Step 19) apply the latest Patch Bundle content UI of WebCenter

    MY DOUBT IS:

To read the steps that I understood, to 19, with success, in the end, I will have an another WebLogic with a domain name and its respective EM.

    I have two servers weblogic?

portal_domain (explained above) and a new wccui_domain wls and domain.

    This fix it?

Two WLS to keep WebCenter portal and content, and other elements.

Because I'm not able to do with the WLS even where I UCM_server1 today?

Thanks for all suggestions and criticism.

Yes, up to 11.1.1.9.0, you will need to install a new wls House (new wls server admin) and then configure WCC ui there. User interface and COE will not work in the same field. You can have the portal and content under the same House of wls and install a new one for the user interface.

This is due to a problem with ADF and WCC libraries.

With 12 c, this dependence is not there, and you can install / configure all 3 (Portal, content and adf ui) applications on the same domain.

  • VirtualMachine.Admin.Name and asking the user for the name of the server

I need to allow end users to designate the name of their server requested when you submit a request through VCAC. I do this using VirtualMachine.Admin.Name in the custom of my blueprint properties and it prompts the user to set.  I have also some scripts that run with the heel of building put into operation once the server is built which require me to enter the VC:VirtualMachine object for the server with the name of the server.  It does this in a loop in a table of all the VC:VirtualMachines met my VCenter server and find a match on the name with an xpath expression.  The name of the server is collected inside the cutting-edge designer using the getVirtualMachineName activity.  This activity is integrated into the designer and aims to do exactly what he says.  He then handed the name in the VCO workflow.  Not much, really.  I have used this method a lot in the past with VCAC.

    Problem:

Recently, I started running this script on a new installation of VCO (5.5.1) and the new instance VCAC (version 6.0 - 1720522) and I see a very strange behavior.  When I get the name in the tip with the activity of getVirtualMachineName Designer, the name is that name WOULD have been affected had I pressed VCAC to automatically generate name for me using a prefix of machine profile.  Remember that you must associate a prefix of the default machine on your group of companies.  This is the prefix that is used to generate the name and associate it to the server in VCAC despite the fact that I am more precisely the substitution of this name automatically generated with the VirtualMachine.Admin.Name custom property in the custom of my blueprint properties.

The strange thing is that the server is correctly named in the VSphere console and inside the guest OS.  In other words, the name that the user places in the VirtualMachine.Admin.Name field is what you get in the console VSphere and BONES.  So that part works.  Then why is he not being correctly named in the VCAC VirtualMachine object?

EC which claimant misnamed is originally my workflow to fail.  I can work around this problem in the workflow, but I fear that there is still problems on the road if the alias is associated with the server inside VCAC himself.

Once again, I did this with earlier versions of VCAC and VCO and not had this problem.  Anyone else seeing this?  I'm doing something wrong here?

The custom property to use to allow a user to enter name themselves is the host name (just hostname, nothing else)... That's what I put to prompt the user to our forms.

    • vCloud 5.5
    • vCO 5.5
    • vCloud Director Plugin for vCO 5.1

The following error is reported in the newspapers - I pointed out the relevant sections. Is there a workaround currently available or a release of out-of-band of the vCloud Director plugin compatible with 5.5?

XStream library must be updated to version 1.4.4 + to make it work with Java 7.

Try the following (no guarantee that this will work, however)

    1. Stop the server vCO
    2. Locate the plugin files in your deployment of vCO directory (/ app-server/plugins/o11nplugin-vcloud.dar) and save it in a location sure.
    3. Open it with a program that can read zip files (like WinZip, WinRAR, etc.) and go to "lib" folder
    4. There should be a file named 'xstream - 1.x.y.jar'. Most likely, you will see "xstream - 1.3.1.jar' (version 1.3.1)"
    5. You need to replace by ' xstream - 1.4.4.jar' and maybe add a library more - ' xmlpull - 1.1.3.1.jar'. If you can't find these libraries on the Web, I can send them to you by e-mail.
    6. Remove directories temporary tomcat in the vCO directory (/ app-server/work /, / app-server/temp /)
    7. Start the server vCO

I don't have a working vCloud environment to test, so it cannot work without having to recompile the plugin, but it won't hurt to try.

  • OIM 11 g: updated AD on the modification of user attributes.

    Hello

I have configured IOM with the connector AD and I am able to provide user AD resources and get the users appears in AD.
I would like to than the IOM as the master of the data, and so for every change in the profile to the IOM, I want to get these values automatically reflected in the AD user profile.

By default, the account enable / disable, and the password are pushed to the announcement of the IOM (using the AD 11.1.1.5 adapter).

    Please advise on these options,

First create update tasks in the process definition for all the attributes you want to change in AD. This update tasks update AD IOM data. Then add edit tasks for any attribute. These tasks will bring together form user IOM data to process the form. Also add that these edit tasks in the research of USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS so that these tasks can be fired automatically each time that no matter what attribute is changed.

    Kind regards
    GP

  • Installation of IOM broken after the creation of user attribute

    Hi all

I tried to create a new user with a list of values attribute. I guess that I pointed out some of the values incorrectly I got an error message from the application of IOM. Now, however, I am not able to connect to the application of IOM even after restart of IOM. The error I get in the console is as follows:

  • After you turn off the root of the directory utility user, I went back to the main screen and all other user accounts showed is no longer at the start, as they were before you enable the root user.  Help.  Please, I beg you.

I have activated the user 'root '.  It was an attempt (for the sake of granddaughter age) to check its history since I am the administrator.  Realizing that this method was much more complicated than what I am capable of managing, I returned the utility program directory and disabled the user 'root '.  I thought that everything was ok, as I did not made anything while connected as user 'root '.  Instead, restart the computer, all users, including myself were no longer at the start.  The only point was a blank user name and password.  No picture.  No guest.  No user.  How to return those and I did something to cause this?

Else you being logged in as root?

Activation and deactivation, then root should not have caused that.

Also, having allowed root is one of the ways you get a login screen showing only the name and the password.

You should be able to type in your user name and password to connect.

One time connected, check users & groups system prefs, Connection Options and make sure he's on the list of users. You will have to click on the padlock at the bottom to make changes.

  • BeFun.be videos won't play plugin a necessary - what? Tried to download microsoft media for Firefox plugin and it won't install (appear in the list of plugin)

The BigFun.be site video requires a plugin. Which plugin? I tried to download the video player of Microsoft for Firefox 1.0.0.8 and it don't take or show up in plugins.

There has been an evolution where Firefox search plugins and the plugins folder in the Firefox program folder is scanned is more plugins, so Firefox will find them more if they are installed in the plugins folder instead of the folder 'browser\plugins', which analyses the Firefox now.

You can set the pref plugins.load_appdir_plugins true on the subject: config page to parse the directory '< install > /plugins/' for plugins like the WMP plugin (np - mswmp.dll) Firefox.

Impossible to copy the text to clipboard error - I had tried everything include uninstall firefox and re install. I tried to disable all plugins and addons. I have to click 20 times on text to paste in all websites. What should I do about it? I use FF 22.0 worm, win 8 and the problem just a few weeks. Thank you

You have zonealarm, if if this is the problem.

  • I can not open emails in Hotmail even though I disabled all the plugins and modules.

Since this morning, I can't open the emails in Hotmail, or open any folders therin. I deactivated all my plugins and modules that actually no difference. To the best of my knowledge, no updates were made to Firefox on my PC yesterday.

Thank you for that. I managed to solve the problem of resetting Firefox, who presumably had the same effect as your solution by deleting the cookies etc.
