About adding attachments to e-mail hotmail, the page does not. On closing program I am informed that the silverlight plugin broke down. Have reloaded and sent reports to both microsoft and firefox, tried all troubleshooting recommended, uninstalled and reinstalled the latest silverlight and firefox 4, but on the attachment after each step into train silverlight continues to crash. Tried the attachment on the yahoo email, same thing.

It is a question really old, but anyone with this problem should try updating to the latest Firefox and the latest Silverlight. You don't usually see problems when both are up-to-date.

  • How to install the plugin silverlight for samsung s5 andriod phone on firefox mobile

website says silverlight required to view GIS maps. How can I install on my Samsung S5?

I ask: what is the GIS map site in question?

Site GIS might give you the ability to export your maps in PDF format or in the form of image files. Before going on the site, you can upload maps, export it to a PDF format or image and transfer them to your phone (possibly using a USB cable, or by sending an e-mail to yourself).

Otherwise, it would certainly be useful to check to see if the site GIS offers a mobile version. I recommend contacting the owners of the site and explaining how useful it would be for you.

  • Should I load Silverlight plugin on my Safari on iMac?

Not sure why I can watch is no longer trailers of movies on my Amazon Premium Video account. A message appears saying I should install Silverlight as my browser plugin and try again. (BIGiMAC, ElCapitan)

I checked and there is no plugin Silverlight available on the App Store.

I looked at other options of the browser (in addition to Safari) that could work on my BIGiMAC when I want to select movies for our evening cinema Saturday at home. ALL seem to have 'questions' running on the Capitan.

I also noticed that with my digital subscription to The New Yorker, videos to work anymore, but those of Goldman Sachs will not play. I think that should be part of the same show.

Check on Amazon, it said something about a new HTML5 or what Viewer added to a browser.

I'm not sure I want to have all added Windows/Microsoft products here for some reason any.

I don't want to broadcast the entire video on my iMac, just look at the bands ads. Perhaps in the future it would be nice to watch on the iMac, however, since it's such a nice big screen and high resolution 5K, hit my quality socks.

    Then... What are my options?

The plug-in can be obtained from the Silverlight Web site.

  • The mouse cursor freezes, Silverlight Plugin, Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

When activated, the plugin Silverlight 4 freezes my cursor of the mouse on the web pages with Silverlight. Disabling Silverlight plugin restores the function of the mouse cursor, but disables display Silverlight content. Occurs with the latest versions of Firefox and IE. The PS2 and USB Wacom input Tablet mouse freeze. Keyboard PS2 remains active, except the "Mouse keys" used in the cursor. Must press 'Back' key to get the silverlight content web page up the function of mouse cursor. Update drivers Wacom and drivers MS Intellimouse Optical. Uninstalled and reinstalled the Silverlight 4. Problem remains.

Platform: MS Win 7 Pro 64-bit. All updates current. Material: Card mother Asus P6T, Core i7 930 CPU, 10 GB of RAM. Security through Zonealarm Extreme Security Suite with active Forcefield. No problem on my PC with Win XP Pro 32-bit.

I can't determine if it's a bug with Silverlight/Win 7 64 bit or a problem with my computer/hardware. I don't have problems with my mouse cursor otherwise. The research of this question gave no solution. Suggestions to solve this problem would be appreciated.

    Hi DelgadoFlash,

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    2. the problem persists both 32 and 64 bit browser explore?

This can happen if you haveWacom Graphire Tablet input connected to the computer.

You must disable Tablet PC Input Service in the Service Manager and check if the problem persists.

    (a) click Start menu and type services.msc in the search box and press enter

    (b) later in the list of services, locate Tablet PC input service.

    (c) make a right click on it and click Properties, set the Startup Type to disabled and press the Stop button.

    (d) close the services window

After disabling the service above you won't be able to use the device.

As a work plug the appliance only when you need to use.

Rename an executable file calledWISPTIS.exe in the C:\Windows\syswow64 directory to something likeWISPTIS_old.exe.

WoW64 is synonymous with "Windows on Windows 64-bit", and it contains all the files of 32-bitbinary required for compatibility.

If the above step works, then you will need to contact Wacom to check if they have released an update on this issue.

    I hope this helps!

  • Why versions in double or more of plugins/addons appear on startup?

I recently started using CCCleaner and performed an analysis of all the plugins and modules that are enabled for the start-up on FireFox. Interestingly, many of the old versions of certain modules and plugins appeared and are enabled. In addition, several same programs appear several times. Is this right? Can older versions of the plugins/Add-ons disabled?

    You are welcome

It is always better to uninstall obsolete extensions or defective instead of disabling (Firefox will still check the updates).

If you can't remove an extension then it is installed in the world and you need to remove this through each program that added them.

  • Firefox 4 does not appear newly installed plugins navigator.plugins array

In Firefox 4, I'm trying to detect with javascript whether a certain plugin is installed by looking in the navigator.plugins array. (https://developer.mozilla.org/en/DOM/window.navigator.plugins)

It seems that the newly installed in Firefox 4 plugins do not appear in this table.

I restarted Firefox, and they appear in the Firefox Add-ons Manager, but not in the navigator.plugins array.

I know Firebug works because I used it to show me the contents of window.plugins.

(In addition, you can even see that your script does not pick up Firebug when you got my list of plugins automatically to fill the field 'Installed Plugins' in this post.)

I think that the plugins installed via an XPI file as an extension should always appear on the topic: plugins page. I'm using Linux and this is how to install the plugin Silverlight (Moonlight).

The current version of Firefox 42.0 (Win32/Win64) is not older. Firefox 45.0a1 nightly compilations you are testing is in development and not even close release. Release of < beta < Aurora (developers edition) < every night

If you wanted to Win64 Firefox there is a release of 42.0 Win64 Firefox it is, however, not so public on mozilla.org
    https://archive.Mozilla.org/pub/Firefox/releases/42.0/Win64/

The Win64 Firefox 42.0 has 64-bit Flash Player white listed. The next exit Win64 Firefox 43.0 looks like 64-bit plugin Silverlight will be white listed.

I recently updated my Firefox 13 with an update of security provided and suggested. Since the upgrade I was able to send outgoing messages from my yahoo account. When I click on the new button in the e-mail, or if I want to answer an e-mail received. A yellow field telling me that a plug-in is required to operate in 32-bit mode. When I click on the restart button in the yellow field the e-mail system crashes and I can't compose an email or response. Before the update of firefox, I received the same message and when I clicked on the button restart email program restarted in 32-bit mode without problem.

You may need to start Firefox in 32-bit mode if need a plugin (Silverlight?) runs only in 32-bit mode.

You can use these steps to start Firefox in 32-bit mode:

    1. Closing of Firefox
    2. Launch the Finder and open the Applications folder
    3. Make a right click or Ctrl-click the icon of Firefox.app
    4. Select "Get Info."
    5. Select or deselect the option "open in 32-bit mode".
    6. Close window "Firefox Info"
    7. Restart Firefox

Need any more help, post it on the Mac Support

    http://www.Apple.com/downloads/

    Requirements of Silverlight

    • Intel
    • Mac OS X 10.4.11 or later
    • Firefox 3 or later, Safari 4 or later, or other modern browsers
  • Silverlight Plugin missing

I want to watch Netflix and refuses to use an other Brwoser than Firefox. So here's the problem:
After correctly uninstall silverlight and put it back, once again, Netflix continues to give me notice that silverlight must be installed, although it is. I uninstalled Firefox clean and installed again. I went into the internet up and down and did everything, like the microsoft tool, I checked if everything is up to date, I've done everything literally! When I keep the navigation for the solution, I see that on some sites, he advised me to check my addons-> Plugins and select silverlight. Now, I remember seeing Silverlight it there many times, but is not there any more, it is completely absent. Please help me!

If the above does not help...

Firefox usually detects Silverlight since a registry entry created by the Silverlight installer. Points of entry into a file here - you can verify that the file exists:

    c:\Program Files (x 86) \Microsoft Silverlight\5.1.40728.0\npctrl.dll

If the file does not exist, the installation failed.

If there is in this place, there's a number that Firefox cannot find it the possible reasons:

One of the possible reasons for a plugin not installed in which they appear in the page modules are if Firefox has DO NOT scan the registry for plugins. Another is that the settings of Firefox, plugin data storage file is corrupt. Here are the steps to check these possibilities:

Confirm that Firefox scans the registry for plugins

Firefox detects the Silverlight plugin for a registry entry. Some users have scanning disabled for some reason any. Here's how check and fix this:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the filter box, type or paste the scan and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) If plugin.scan.plid.all is not set to its default value true, double-click it to activate it by default.

If you have changed this setting, close and restart Firefox to start another analysis.

If you visit the Add-ons page again, success?

If Firefox is set to scan, but still do not find Silverlight and the list on the page Add - ons...

Remove the registry file for the plugin for Firefox

Sometimes the pluginreg.dat file is damaged. You can remove it and Firefox plugins re-scan. As a side effect, the plug-ins that you have disabled the page modules probably will be reactivated, you'll need to return to this page once more.

Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • Menu help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste Subject: support in the address bar and press enter

In the first table of the page, click on the "view file" button to launch a new window of Windows Explorer showing your settings files.

Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output, either:

    • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
    • File menu > exit

Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup, then rename pluginreg.dat to something like pluginreg.old

Launch Firefox back up again. (If you want to restore your previous session non-private use history > restore previous Session.)

When you return to the page modules, is Silverlight finally here?

  • What happens with Silverlight plugin for the Firefox browser in September 2015?

I heard that Firefox support is no longer the Silverlight plugin from September 2015: it means all the automatic updates allows you to disable the Silverlight plug-in and it will have to be re-activated, or means that the platforms according to the Silverlight plug-in will simply stop working in Firefox browser?

For Win64 Firefox builds from 41.0 only 64-bit Flash Player is white listed to run in Win64. Release of 41.0 Firefox can be the first to have Win64.

You can still use Firefox 32 bit and all the plugins installed, 32-bit NPAPI then on Windows System. The 64-bit Mac OSX and Linux Firefox will always be able to use 64-bit NPAPI Plugins.

There is no real support of Silverlight for Firefox Win64 versions anyway.
