  Java will not work on the computer all of a sudden. Now, when I go to open games Pogo room I get a red lego piece of Mozilla in the corner saying "plug ins have been disabled for your safety, the area will be"Java (TM) platform SE 6 U".   I've just updated to the latest Firefox and now java is prevented from loading Pogo games that require it. I unchecked the box block popup and activated JavaScript but whenever I try to load, I get a message on the java concol saying: permission denied. I went to IE8 (yuck) and the game loaded properly.

  Mozilla are aware of the problem and are working on a fix, no time scale, but they are planning on a quick release. 3.6.15 Firefox will fix the problem with some applets Java does not, which caused a lot of Pogo games to stop working.

• Pogo games won't load after installing windows updates

  Windows updates were installed last night. I was on the computer at the same time play games on pogo.com. I closed IE and authorized updates run. I did a norton scan and nothing detected, my software is up to date. I have enough disk hard vacuum to play games online in pogo. pop ups are allowed for ea and pogo games. Should I tryu uninstall update 1 by 1 or what?
  Please answer as soon as possible. I tried to call support (@ 5:30 p.m. CST), but there was no answer. I am disabled and spend a lot of time playing games and "intermittent with friends" on pogo. I usually am troubleshooting for my group of friends when they have computer problems, but this has me stumped... Help... Thanks a lot for your suggestions... Lana57D

  First thing I suggest is to reset the internet settings for Internet Explorer:
  Method 1: Reset the Internet Explorer settings if you have Internet Explorer 7 or Internet Explorer 8 is installed, you can repair damaged files or missing registration information in Internet Explorer 7 or Internet Explorer 8. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options .
  3. On the Advanced tab, click reset .
  4. In the Reset Internet Explorer settings dialog, click reset to confirm.

  Then the next thing that I propose would be to re - install your Java installation.

• Problem with pogo games being to small to see since I have windows 7.

  I just got a new pc with windows 7. The problem I have, is the pogo games and yahoo are medium to small to see.   I have reinstalled java at least 5 times, I have reset the browser, I used the No. add version, and did all the maintenance.  Nothing changed still the same.  Please help I enjoy my games, but cannot see them play now that I have windows 7.

• Firefox is updated but pogo games still load - they do in Google Chrome

  What kind of error do you get?  Pogo problems have to do with the firewall that you are behind.  Pogo communicates with servers through your network, and if your firewall rules are too restrictive will not work for you.  You can contact the customer service of Pogo for more help with this problem, like all firewall and security software is different, it would be difficult for me to make trouble for you.

• POGO games Launcher has stopped working.

  I'm having the same problem.  I bought Poppit, Scrabble Deluxe and Brain Training.  They worked fine until last week when I got these error messages.  I asked for help, Oberon, and they send me to Microsoft.  I'm going, and they ship back me.  I really need these moments of relaxation.  I teach 4th grade students have 2 teenagers and take care of my two parents very, very sick.  I have very little computer knowledge.  They think it's because I'm on Vista, but why it works for one month and stop.

  Unfortunately, this is the only solution that I could find for Pogo games.  Your next step would be to contact them directly and see if they have a patch or a work-around that will set their game.  If they are able to solve the problem, please post here what they were doing.  As you can see, we have a few people ask about it.

  It of not really logical that it works for a while and then stops.  Load of updates or any other software before this has stopped working?  Any change in the configuration?  New antivirus software or security?
