  Arial font on my illustator behaves very strange.

  This behavior does not occur in other applications as well.

  

  It is a ligature.

  Check the open type Panel to turn off the feature.

  According to the Windows 7 Compatibility Center, Driver Detective version 8 is compatible with Windows 7. What version you are trying to install?

• Forms overlapping when you reach the breakpoint

  Hi all!

  When I do more than 2 forms in a straight line and will start to shrink the workspace, by the time I get to one of my breakpoints forms jump on each other. I do nothing pinning or resize - I'm not absolutely anything set up. Just forms and reduction in the size of the browser. Any ideas ladies and gentlemen?

  Currently, this is the expected behavior when you reproduce or copy and paste to create new items. However, I disagree with it, and we're going to investigate or not to change it in the future. In the meantime, the solution is to use the function "copy size and Position to...» ».

  -Select the items newly created in the breakpoint where they are positioned correctly

  -Right-click to open the context menu (or open the object menu) and choose "copy size and Position to...» »

  - or copy the position of all individual breakpoints and stop points

• Need HELP with forms overlapping

  Hello!

  I'm working on a Small cake of drawing in Illustrator using a tutorial that I found online as a guide - link below. I created successfully the cake until step #12... which is to hide the part of a cherry drawn behind the icing. Basically, I don't know what to do after I drew the new shape on top of the icing because when I try to complete this step, nothing happens. I end up just with a new Brown solid form on top of the icing. This as opposed to a cut copy of the section behind the cherry icing.

  As a note, I'm sure following steps and using the tools referenced in the tutorial but this step seems to be missing details or maybe my intermediate experience working against me here. Whatever it is, I hope that someone out there will be able to 'fill the gap' for me.

  It seems to be different parts of the portion of chocolate, and you must be in the correct order and paste the cherry in the meantime.

  If you look at the pieces in chocolate to the left of the cherry, the version of the statement the (part white to the right of the) left part is covered by the (part black on the far left of the) next part which must be partially in front of the cherry.

• Font Arial rendered only in "BOLD"

  I don't really know how (it seems to me as it happened completely at random) but today I started Firefox and Wikipeda appeared entirely in bold. After checking my problem on Google, I discovered that Google displays each piece of text in bold as well. This has never happened before, and all my problem research offers two solutions which do not resolve the problem and are applied only to versions 3.0 and firefox 4.0. Help, please.

  I think that my police Arial have been damaged by an old game (Age of Empires II) I have installed and played with my children this past weekend. This solved my problem. Try to go into the fonts Control Panel by clicking Start, Control Panel, and then click fonts. If you do not see "fonts" then look at the top right of your control panel for the option "view by" and choose "small icons". You can also find it in Windows Explorer when accessing your Windows folder, and then the fonts folder. Mine is in c:\windows\fonts. Once you're here, copy the Arial font by right click on it and choose 'copy' and paste it in a temporary folder of your choice or on the desktop. You can also simply drag it to another folder or on the desktop. It should stick around 9 different versions of the Arial font. Go to the folder that you just pasted on it for, arial.ttf right-click and choose copy, and then return to the control panel fonts, right-click anywhere and choose Paste. It must be said the police is already installed and ask if you want to replace it. Say yes to all instances. If you did it glisser drag on the desktop, then just do drag the fonts Control Panel and say yes to all the questions of installation. Hope this helps you. If you cannot find the arial police in the fonts Control Panel, then your problem is more likely that it has been deleted. You will need to download it somewhere and reinstall. Sorry I can't help you with that.

  Lost Arial regular police... How can I find and install it.  It is not in the Windows/Fonts file.  I got it up to a couple of days and he disappeared.

  I am doing a logo that has many forms, overlapping the other then that is a loop around.

  The first form I leave at the top and then loop around, I further and further down the list of layers. Then the last layer should be under the cover of a last second, but on the top layer. How can I do this? If there is no way to do this in Photoshop, then how do we do that in Illustrator?

  You must use the duplicates and sliced them upwards accordingly. It is no different for PS or HAVE. It is simply an illusion.

• Police will not change when you choose to search for a font

  Hello. I'm on a MBP with InDesign CC.

  I opened a document that uses Frutiger 57 condensed. The original file used the same font, but the name of different fonts, e.g. "Frutiger 57Cond.

  I thought that the problem would be in one of the styles, since there is no character styles, I went to paragraph and changed styles police for Frutiger 57 condensed from the Frutiger 57Cond, but that did not help. Frutiger 57 condensed is installed on my system, that's why I made this change.

  Under find fonts Frutiger 57 condensed is selected, but when I click on the first series of text that uses it, it will not change the police. If I choose all the changes, nothing happens.

  I tried to copy and paste everything into a new document and preflight gave me the green light, but when I have opened the folder, I got 61 errors yet. I thought I'd try!

  When I open a new document and start typing in this font, everything seems fine. There are several InDesign documents that use this font that also do not have the problem.

  No idea as to why this particular document send me questions of police? Please let me know if there is something I can check

  Looks like you have some fonts in a folder of fonts in the document.

• Hairlines between Forms after using the merge tool (Pathfinder)

  Hi all

  I've got this camouflage complicated as the design of all kinds of forms, but only using 5 colors.

  None of my items have traits.

  I have selected and used the merge tool in the pathfinder (because I have to provide the document without forms overlapping).

  When you look close to the result, you notice that there are some white hairlines around all forms.

  This is really a deficiency, because if I slide a red rectangle behind the work, she appears in the hairlines.

  I have read the other subjects 'loose' Illustrator here, but could not find a solution to my problem.

  It may be an artifact of the (reverse) screen.

  What happens if you uncheck Edit > preferences > General > work of Anti-Aliasing?

  And what happens if you save it as a PDF or print or save to the Web, or export to a raster format?

  You would camouflage true if you could do the background shine through everything.

• Font Arial Black Cap 6 or later

  Arial Black is available in Cap 6 or later. I have it on my machine Win 8.1 and can use it in Word and other programs, but when adding a text in Cap 6 caption cannot select.

  I've been struggling with this during more than an hour. A colleague stopped in and told to choose Arial, then in the field below black Style becomes available. So, I guess that the font is Arial, style is black, not police Arial Black.

• Computer that overlap

  I would have looked for it myself, but I don't know even how to find a tutorial on it. I don't know the words appropriate for this. Is it possible to put a model in a form overlap? In the same way shown here:

  You will need to use copies of the forms within other precomps.

  You can link shapes in the precomps forms in your main comp with expressions for easy animation changes.

  If you use a form like a matte alpha to the other in a precomp and then use this precomp as an alpha matte for your model of the image, you should be good.

• Some text appears to be a police in a computer, but a different font in another computer.

  The navigation in my .fla file buttons are set to the police, Arial MT in "BOLD".  It shows no problem on my desktop computer.  However, when I go to the Web site on my laptop, changes of fonts to which seems to be something like Times New Roman.

  The same thing is happening with my text on the button «Read more»  It is also originally in Arial MT Bold.  On my desk it seems in good condition, but on my 2 laptops, it seems to be in Times New Roman.  It is more a problem because I have these highlighted buttons.  When you view it in my laptop, these notes seems to be too long.  If I shorten it, it will probably seem too short when I discover on my desk.

  How can I get the font for a font for all computers?

  Note, it is the only font this is the case with - I have another unusual policy, Miami, which do not come with many computers, but I still see it on all my computers.

  Looks like your laptop doesn't have this font so it goes hand in hand with a default font.  What you can do is to incorporate the police that you used in Flash and in this way that all computers display correctly your swf file. There is an option to incorporate in the properties panel when you use the text tool.
