• The use of reminders from prior step to configuration test conditions

  I'm trying to set a reminder from the prior step to check the test conditions and correct them if they do not match the needs of the test stage.  I was going to affect the test conditions in the before expression of each test step, but unfortunately, I found that expression pre runs AFTER the recall of the pre-trial stage.  Is there a way to get around this?  How can I get around this?  (i.e. to assign specific variables of step before running the recall of prior step).

  I did some hacking of preconditions and even its easier than the example above.  Do not forget that in TestStand expressions, the comma (,) separates logical expressions.  But the return value of the expression is always the return value of the last expression.  So if you separate two logical expressions in the prerequisites with a comma, only the return value of the second gets used as the prerequisite.

  For example, if you always want to step to run, you can use:

  locals.myVar = 5, True

  Or if you already have prerequisites:

  locals.myVar = 5, AllOf (RunState.Sequence.Main ["ID #:"].) Result.Status == 'Past', RunState.Sequence.Main ["" ID #: ' "]. Result.Status == 'Pass')

And another channel listen B2B is tuned and performs the operation of B2B inbound.

  Hi Alain,

  I think that you have not added the identifiers of EDI (EDI Goup Id, ID exchange EDI, EDI Exchange code qualifier) in the past agreement. Make sure that you add all three in the two trading partner profiles during the creation of the agreement. Save, validate, deploy the agreements after addition of these agreements and then try a test.

  You can use 'Ctrl' or 'Shift' key on the keyboard to select several identifiers both. You must also add the same incoming agree.

  Hi, I have Windows 7 and the Sound Blaster Recon 3D PCIe audio device. In the last few weeks, I noticed that some videos will play without problem and some have the following problem: the music and ads are ok. Videos with speaking parts (last tested on the episode of Letterman with Tina Fey as a guest) does not work well. Specifically, I hear a noise when they speak. But if I keep place the volume of the speaker (on the icon) and keep clicking the open icon, the sound begins to get stronger and you can actually hear it above his ' ding ding ' by clicking on the icon of the speaker volume. I've never had this happen before. I don't think I did something different from my usual activities lately and haven't downloaded all new program. Music plays without problem. Only the French-speaking parties. I tried the program compatibility troubleshoot and it told me "Incompatible application". Don't know what it means that I am aware of no incompatibility. Never happened before. Just suddenly appeared. Don't know if updates recent MS interfered with the audio device.  Also, I tried looking for questions that are already using the Control Panel, Manager of devices... and no problems were discovered. I put the volume on the strongest settings already and that doesn't work anymore.

  Just an update.  Problem solved. Faulty speaker connections. Did not touch the connections before the problem, so not sure what happened to these connections, but the problem is resolved. Thank you.

  i thought that is a rounding issue but when I change the definitions of the cell to learn more decimal places I see this part of the percentage 9.65% and some of them are 10.00% and they are both colored in yellow.

  The problems seems to be due to the absence of root CA certificate in the trust store. Please import certificate suitable (as appropriate for gmail ssl) to the trust store.

  I'm converting some infiltration in PL/SQL operations and I have a situation where
  based on the results (i.e. the returned rows) I run different code.
  
  So I have a v_file_name_found parameter which is set locally to the procedure.
  The procedure is placed in a file name and I search for it...
  If found I then assign it to the v_file_name_found, if
  where clause has been reached. If I get 0 rows back, I A, if I get lines > 0 then I do B.
  
  In oracle that I have to assign the v_file_name because everything I do is test the
  where clause conditions?

  What you have is a good way to do it in Oracle.
  You must SELECT IN something, if you need a variable. If all you really want to know is whether the query found something, or not, then you can do something like this:

  where catch you the error that occurs when the query returns 0 rows. However, you must always SELECT a variable, so in this case, I don't think that thie approach wins above whatever it is for you. Keep doing it the way that you thought of.

  I have not tested the code above, but I know that it is closer to the correct Oracle syntax.

  Do not use the CHAR data type. Use VARCHAR2 or, if you want to specify that a variable local is the same type and size as a column of data, using % TYPE, as I did above.

  If the filename is the name of a column, you must choose a different name for the parameter, such as file_name_given or in_file_name. This is not necessarily a mistake to use the same name, but it can be confusing.

  If a SELECT INTO statement detects more than 1 row, it triggers the TOO_MANY_ROWS error. You could test for it in the section of the EXCEPTION to a nested block, but it is easier to avoid it completely by
  (a) using ROWNUM = 1, as shown above
  (b) to rewrite the query to use aggregate functions (but no GROUP BY), or
  (c) re-writng the query as an EXISTS subquery, as in "Double WHERE EXISTS SELECT 1 (...)"

• Stupid mistake with Bundle by name

  I recently spent too much time to research an error in the code "that used to work.  So I asked a student to look over my shoulder while I explained what was supposed to happen.  The bug is illustrated in this code snippet:

  

  I do a simple package by name, using a predefined TypeDef to define the cluster.  What I expected to get are indicated on the left, and I have actually is shown to the right.  The code looks the same, but the result is very different!

  My student asked innocently if I saw, in fact, the default value of my TypeDef (answer - Yes).  He then asked if I had connected the TypeDef to the terminal of output "by mistake."  This turns out to be almost right - what I did was to wire the flag, not the Terminal output, but by mistake, to the input Terminal.

  Note the two beige rectangles on the right edge of the boot by name.  The rightmost output, the more to the left is the entrance (this is where the wire to TypeDef comes in).  What I carelessly did was drag a wire from the indicator "far enough" to establish a connection, but, in fact, I dragged too far for that its entry into the entry box.  Here's big plans to correct and bad sons with highlight - it is not easy to see, but the highlighting on the wrong wire extends into the beige rectangle to the left.  If you bring your pointer in very carefully at the junction, you can sometimes see a point of strain on the edge of the function of the bundle, but I couldn't catch him.

     

  Needless to say that this behavior, the ability to 'evil' a bundle by name function wire, was quite unexpected (by me)-I spent most of my time, suspecting of subtle errors in my code and logic, not the errors of cabling!

  You can bet I checked the other places where the beam by a name appears in my code.  I'm posting here in the hope that others do not fall into the same trap.

  Sorry to beat a dead horse, but I wanted some close this topic and comment on some of the useful responses.  A revised version of the extract is also included below.

  • Oligarlicky and tst are correct - I must have inadvertently 'fixed' the original extract before posting, as the code snippet below show fact error (I tested this time!).
  
  
  • TST is also correct that having the Option "Enable automatic wire routing" is enabled (the default behavior) would prevent this problem, with the result the obviously involuntary wireframe diagram of Test 3.  I always disable this Option when I am configuring LabVIEW, I like to control the placement of wire.
  
  
  • Many sons of "misplaced" (or incorrect) seem to be "taken" by the VI Analyzer, so I 'analyzed' this VI.  When I read his conclusions, I said "Oh, he missed the error!  But I was wrong - included an annotation of unused Code that says "service"Bundle by name"has none of its outputs one cable and therefore performs so no useful operation.»  Consider removing this function from your schema. "It was not really until I've created version 'Activate the automatic routing of the wires' reproduced by 3 tests that I realized he was talking (somewhat loosely) on my thread wrong.

  I'm really bad make my site compatible with Internet Explorer. I know, it does not support the element ' position: fixed ' (which I used), but I heard there was a way around this by inserting a "conditional statement".   Again, to answer your question, what you are doing wrong with the IE conditional comment, is that it is incomplete. The conditional comment must contain a block of complete style with the regular style rules:

  Because you want to override what is in your style sheet, it should come theof the embedded document after links to CSS and external style sheets.

• SQLCODE and sql rowcount % in test conditions

  I'm translating a procedure of Ingres to oracle. I use the Oracle sql and sqlcode % rowcount
  variables instead of Ingres, iierrornumber and iirowcount.
  
  I replaced the names of ingres with the names of oracle and now wonder how how oracle uses these
  values.
  
  I use DBMS_OUTPUT. Put_line to display the content of rowcount % sqlcode and sql.
  
  What happens when I'm 'without selected lines. I have run the same query in the stand-alone command line
  and don't get any selected rows... "(and that's okay, because I do not have the corresponding data to)."
  
  But when I run it in the procedure, I don't get any value of sqlcode or sql % rowcount... the
  program just stops. The author used the ingres code to test if the data were there
  continue to do something else.
  
  If you get no rows returned, what it means, the sqlcode is 0? and the number of lines % sql is empty?

  I'm guessing that you have a generic WHEN catch of OTHER exception that swallows the NO_DATA_FOUND exception I expect to see (depending on what you posted).

• Problem with NI Switch Executive - test Panel

  NI Switch Executive - Test Panel, I connect routes I created previously, which are then displayed to connected, without error. However, the corresponding relay is not activated (what I mean by monitring DMM). Using NOR-SWITCH Soft Front Panel, I can make the same connections and everything works fine, no idea why connections are not deployed in the Test Panel?

  Looks like the NI PXI-2530 is simulated in the IVI configuration.

  OR Switch devices Executive virtual peripheral references by their logical names.  Each logical name to a Session links pilot Max (Measurement & Automation Explorer).  A setting in the pilot Session allows you to simulate a device.

  I recommend to open MAX, expand the IVI Drivers > driver and check the general tab that the fake it with the drop-down list selection is set to do not simulateSessions.

• With the help of JavaScript condition in the dynamic action of JQuery selector

  Hi guys,.

  I have a Setup master detail on a page.

  The detail section, I have a tabular presentation.  One of the fields is a selection list.  The first record in the select contains the value * not * that has a value of primary key for the 1.  I have a distinct region with a simple text field where the user can insert a value into the table if the value does not exist.

  I want than the region of text element to only appear if the value * not listed * is selected.

  I managed to make it work when the value is selected with the help of dynamic action with a bit of JQuery and JavaScript by setting the ID on the selection list to 'create' and have the following in JavaScript $(this.triggeringElement) .val ()! = 1 in the JavaScript for dynamic action condition shows it or hides the region of 'create' and that works well.

  However, if the secondary table is empty before the detail records were created (nothing selected in triggering jQuery Selector) the region of create is displayed when I don't want it.

  I guess I need some sort of NVL in JavaScript condition?

  I use APEX v4.2.

  Any advice would be appreciated.

  The detail section, I have a tabular presentation.  One of the fields is a selection list.  The first record in the select contains the value * not * that has a value of primary key for the 1.  I have a distinct region with a simple text field where the user can insert a value into the table if the value does not exist.

  I want than the region of text element to only appear if the value * not listed * is selected.

  I managed to make it work when the value is selected with the help of dynamic action with a bit of JQuery and JavaScript by setting the ID on the selection list to 'create' and have the following in JavaScript $(this.triggeringElement) .val ()! = 1 in the JavaScript for dynamic action condition shows it or hides the region of 'create' and that works well.

  However, if the secondary table is empty before the detail records were created (nothing selected in triggering jQuery Selector) the region of create is displayed when I don't want it.

  I guess I need some sort of NVL in JavaScript condition?

  I use APEX v4.2.

  Simple solution is to hide the region containing the element of text by default, using the style = "" view: no ' in the property of the attributes of the area in the region. " It will be always hidden when the page initially, but its visibility will be controlled by the DA subsequently.
