Poor quality of the sound on Satellite L855

After having a Toshiba laptop computer previously, I bought a new L855 Satellite Saturday. It's sad to say that I am REALLY disappointed by the speakers and the sound quality. Especially as stickers on the machine say "large speakers for a deeper sound. It sounds really hail. Far worse than my ipad or iphone :-(

Any sggestions?

Hello

Your laptop supports a Realtek audio chip. Right?
In Control Panel, you can find the DD Realtek Audio Manager.

Here, you can change the sound effects, you can change the sound properties and can add some bass using the equalizer settings.

  • Poor quality of the sound in the timeline and export; very well in the Source?

    Hi all.

Newbie-Pr but experienced pro audio digital. I am confused and I know I am missing just something somewhere.

I made a video for one of my songs. The graphics are quite (in AE), imported Pr and everything what is superb. I import the final audio mix and it sounds very poor quality when played the chronology and the final output, regardless of the format (I tried several presets and custom as well settings). I played a bit and noticed that the audio sounds fine when played in the Source window inside the Prime Minister.

The session of Pr is comrised of 18 video tracks (not all playing at the same time, of course) and a stereo audio track.

I tried to re - export audio from logic to depths of different bits, sampling frequencies and formats of file (mp3, wav, AAC, etc.) but the results are the same each time: Source (Pr) sounds very good, logic output sounds very well made / reading of the timeline looks very bad quality mp3 and produces final sounds just as bad.

I tried everything I can think of. I hope one of you can show me what I'm missing.

    TIA!

    Thanks for the reply!

I lived the same results, no matter what I used the export settings. In addition, the poor quality of the sound was present in the timeline itself, without even exporting the project.

Finally, I lifted my hands, has launched a completely new project, the same audio file in drugs... sounded good. Copied / pasted the video clips in the project original, broken and boom, everything is fixed. Yes, corrupted file Pr, it turns out. All I had to do was start a new project and import all the old components.

I had to do that in logic a lot (more and more these days). I wish just that I had tried 10 hours earlier! HA.

Anyway, problem solved and many thanks!

  • Poor quality of the sound after XP or Vista upgrade on the Satellite A300 - 15 d

    Hello

    Please I need your help.

    I have my Satellite A300 - 15 d and I had a problem with my sound.
When I upgraded to Vista ultimate or go back to XP my sound becomes very bad quality and I have tried to update drivers and utilities but no way and finally I come to Vista Home who came into the recovery.

I hate it and I need a solution.

    Please answer

    Hello

What exactly do you mean by "bad sound quality?"
He is too weak or what?

    A300 - 15 d seems to belong to the series of PSAJ4E.
Conexant for Win XP and vista audio driver is available on the European driver Toshiba page.

I have the same sound chip in my book and the sound is ok... I also noticed that I have a SmartAudio in Control Panel.
This seems to be an additional tool to improve the sound quality.

    Maybe you should check this.

  • Poor quality of the sound on the rocket with some conversions of mp3 128 k

I've converted a few songs to m4a (you have an iTunes gift card, do not want to lose it) using MediaMonkey to load on my rocket 128kbs mp3 files. They sound very good when I play on the computer, but the sound quality is poor, when I play them back on the "rocket". Anyone else run into this? A high sampling rate would solve it? I hope that by Christmas next to have all school please do it year Amazon gift card, but I intend to use the iTunes card for now.

I guess that there must be a compatibility problem with MediaMonkey 128 k on the "rocket", as I have tried a few others with better results. WMA 128 k was best that the mp3, but still sounded not just. Conversion of mp3 160 kbps of MediaMonkey sounds very good and still maintains the small enough size for me. I still don't know why some of these conversions the best on my PC and the "rocket", but I guess that doesn't really matter because I found something that works. Thanks for your help.

  • How to improve the speakers and the quality of the sound on Satellite C850-1GL

just bought a Toshiba C850-1GL, very happy with it, except for the sound quality, any suggestions on how this can be improved before I go and buy external speakers...?

AFAIK you can't do much. This laptop has standard stereo speakers and not high quality Harman/kardon as some other models, so if you want to have good and brilliant sound, you need external speakers.

  • Poor quality of the sound on the headphones bluetooth re - connect

KINIVO BTH220 Stereo Bluetooth Headset works just perfect when connecting to Windows 7 PC for the first time since the system was last started. However, when headphones are disconnected from the PC and reconnected (not paired but connected) he works in very poor sound quality, even all the playback device settings show the same quality used. I have to reboot the PC to get a good quality again.

The knivo helmet can be different from the others, but the solution is simple. What works for me is:

    1. turn off the headset Knivo (mine is BTH220).

2 turn Knivo and hold it down until you enter the visibility mode (flashing red and blue)

    3. go in
Start-> all programs-> devices and printers

    Re-connect to the device.

    Voila! Sounds good again.

  • Sound quality on the C55t-A5218 Satellite

I have a Toshiba Satellite C55t A5218 gift about 3 weeks ago and overall it's a good laptop,
However, I am very disappointed by something.

The audio output is shocking on all software, whether you use headphones or external speakers or speakers.

Everything that is produced from any one of them is a small, quiet sound quality with absolutely no bass. I'm not sure if there is a problem with the sound card or other thing, but consider that a laptop upscale and expensive that it should be ready to play high-quality music.

I have also had this laptop abroad so can't really look upon return to the store. Is there any help someone can offer here?

Is it something that can be sorted on the laptop or I will have to spend more money on a new sound card?

Sound quality is often not very good due to the internal speakers. Some laptops have normal stereo speakers, and the sound is not so good. Otherway, some of them have high quality Harman/Kardon and the sound is excellent.

In any case, have you tried to test with different actors and play around a bit with EQ?

  • Satellite X 200-response of poor quality for the finger print scans

    Hello

The scanner on my X 200 finger printing has recently begun to return a response of 'Poor quality' finger scans for Windows Vista logon.
He had worked flawlessly since purchase, but all of a sudden (not gradually anyway) stopped scans for connect.

My first thought is maybe a Windows update broke something but I know not where search, everyone has seen or heard talk about it or know how to solve the problem, I can hardly believe that it is a hardware problem, that one day he was working the next day it wasn't.

    Thanks in advance,
    Josh

    Hello Josh

This can happen from time to time. I recommend you to clean the sensor. I hope after that cleaning, it works well again.

  • Windows 8: brightness of the screen changes (Satellite L855-11 t)

    Hello

I own a satellite L855-11 t and installed Windows 8 Pro x 64 (full version DreamSpark). Everything works well except for one thing: I can't change the brightness of the screen.

I installed the new drivers and PVAT, system driver, etc. (even of csd.toshiba.com, because these are already for Windows 8). Toshiba function key does not work, do not know why. And Intel won't let me install the display driver: my system does not meet the requirements. I thought that there is a GPU integrated into Ivy Bridge?

Well, when I press FN + F2/F3 brightness indicator appears and changes its value, but nothing happens not on my screen. I just stay the same (which seems to be applied after a reboot). I disabled same Adaptive brightness, but it did not help. Any other function key work correctly (out of the box by the way).

I hope you can help me.

At present, it is not easy help with Win8 malfunctions. Until doesn t support official Win8 Toshiba we write just on good or bad luck.
In General, there are a lot of Toshiba tools and utilities that must work together. Yet he offered no tested versions.

Display drivers for mobile units are offered and tested by the manufacturers of portable so up to what Toshiba doesn t it I think that you should use your Win8 and learn how it works. In my opinion, the key is to check all the new features. All the specific stuff from Toshiba can be installed in addition.
Later, when Win8 support starts, you can install it again and just work well the OS, including specific functions of Toshiba.

  • How can I improve the quality of the sound signal tia sal22

    Hello all

I have a VI that plays an audio signal on a sound card, but the quality is not great in real time when I change it.  I can create the audio signal in mathematica 6 and it sounds good but labview has a few problems can anyone recommend a way to improve the way in which the qualtiy of the audio signal sounds... I need to increase buffers or allocation of memory for labview, if yes, how can I do.

    TIA sal22

PS I'm using labview 8.2 don't fix 8.5 this problem?

    Hi sal22,

LabVIEW 8.2.1 (which seems to be the version you're using) automatically manages the allocation of memory up to 2 gigabytes.  LabVIEW 8.5 and later supported the use of up to 4 gigabytes.

See the following articles in the knowledge base for more information:

The amount of memory can use LabVIEW?

Also, I know that some changes have been made to lvsound2.dll in 8.5, the library of your vi uses to produce the sound.  In other words, if it's really a problem of memory, that upgrading to the latest version of LabVIEW can solve the problem.  I can't confirm this for you because my ears are not only very good .  But it's worth a try if you have a copy of available 8,5/8.5.1.

  • Quality of the sound on P20

All of a sudden now when I play music in my P20 from the hard drive there is little and mixed noise in some parts of reading, it seems as if there is saturation of the sound, even when I change the equalizer settings or low volume...

I would like to know the reason and how to solve it.

Have the wireless on or off makes no difference.

    Thank you in advance.

I solved the problem by reinstalling the audio drivers. But after some time, sometimes hours, sometimes minutes, the problem comes back and the music sounds like a drunk donkey.

Toshiba technical service tells me to format the hard drive, but it's crazy, that the computer has only a few days of use!

Please give me some clues on how to solve this stupid problem.
