  In addition, with the new quick release cycle, the update process has changed. For example, the firefox 8 which was released several months ago is the same 8 Firefox there today. For some releases there maybe an update minor to fix one or two issues, but usually known bugs has waited until the next version which will be fixed.   My problem is on an old computer (not this one) running Windows Vista Home Premium.  Show downloads are KB2690729, 2656353, 2656370, 2604111, 2604121, 2656368, 2656045 and 2686827.  When I tried to download individually, the first and the third update (above) showed as being downloaded correctly, yet when I checked the list of updates successfully, none of these appeared.  Since that time, the system generated downloads 8 updates have been fruitless.

  Like the other reviewers, I run IOL System Mechanic and have noted your comments about the interaction between the SM and windows.  Personally, I hesitate to attempt changes to the registry based on the stories of war, with that I've heard of people who do not have the knowledge/experience/skill to work in the more than causing registty problems they started.  I have not contacted LIO, wondering if this was done either by Microsoft with others who have similar problems.

  I hope that you have more tips to share what to do: this problem.

  You can specify that the trigger should fire only when certain columns are referenced, like this:

  create or replace trigger test_fund_trig
  before update OF FUNDING
  on table_a
  ...
  

  If you do this, the trigger will not draw on statements such as:

  UPDATE  table_a
  SET     mod_date = SYSDATE;
  

  You should always use an IF statement, as I mentioned earlier, if you do not want to follow the updates where the value of this column has not really changed.

  Thanks for the response back.  If you have your data backed up on an external device or a dvd, you can always perform a clean install and let it update.

  With the boot, you disable the services to see if any third-party service is causing the problem.

  I tried a few scripts that I found here, such as; year (dateAdd ("yyyy", 1, now()))) with no luck. I confess that I don't know about scripts and can be a bad thing. The script goes on the Action tab as a javascript or somewhere else (validation?) Any advice or assistance would be appreciated. I use Acrobt Pro version 9.

  Going by your post you wanted the year is displayed in a text field, I gave the code to go into the script will count for this field. If you want to use it somewhere else (e.g. a mouseup), then use the variable 'year' in this script. In a calculation script, any value you assign to "event.value" is what will show on the field during the calculation.

• Open new tabs, but stay in the current tab

  I read a lot of discussion, but I have not found any help. I just reformat my hard drive and installed fresh FF4. . I opened firefox in my homepage. Without tab open at this stage. If I right click on the page to open a new link by opening a new tab, it stays on the current page and opens a new tab in the background. My problem is if I'm on a page and I opened a new tab by selecting a BOOKMARK, it switches to the new tab immediately. I want to stay on the current tab and open the bookmark tab in a background tab. Any help? Thank you.

  P.S. I tried checking and unchecking "when I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately", I tried safe mode, I tried to disable all the add - on... nothing seems to work.
