• I installed 8.0.1 and when I try to bookmark a page, Firefox will not save the bookmark. Do not import or restore either.

  I downloaded Firefox to reinstall. After installation, I opened a web page and tried to bookmark. Firefox opens a small format that I am to fill, provide a name and other information for the bookmark. I filled out the form and click 'done '. The form disappears. If I click on "Bookmarks" in the menu, I can't see not all bookmarks. a few commands for "show all bookmarks, bookmark this page, bookmarks bar and bookmarks-not sorted." View all bookmarks opens a window of the library. It is empty. None of the functions (Import, restore, etc.) anything, but no error is thrown. Displays bookmarks bar a side pop-out menu with 'Empty' written in it. Unsorted Bookmarks empty library is displayed again. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox several times, cleaned the registry, etc. and it continues to refuse to bookmark the pages. But seems that Firefox KNOWS that the page is bookmarked. The URL will pop up as I start to type in the address field.

  One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.

• Right click menu comes in white or the part of the menu disappeared

  In Windows Explorer, Favorites, organize favorites.  The pop-up window is empty and I can not set up my favorites.  How can I get that back?

  Check and see if what follows will help recover your Favorites folder in Explorer.

  This can happen if the Favorites Shell folder is out of adjustment.

  1. click on start.

  2. click on run.

  3. type regedit in run window.

  4. navigate to the following location:

  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders.

  5. Once you find favorites to the title of the first key, right click and select Edit.

  6. the Edit String dialog box opens. The data value field must contain the correct location of your Favorites folder. If it is not the case, enter the right location to restore your missing Internet Explorer Favorites folder

  The value of the Favorites path: %USERPROFILE%\Favorites
   
  7 HKEY _CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell records.
  In the right pane, value the Favorites path: C:\Documents and Settings\nom_utilisateur\Favoris

• How to add sounds to the light icons in the taskbar when events happening?

  Well, my question is maybe very simple, I hope I can get help here, I ve been wondering how to make the icons on the taskbar sound when something happens for example when you receive a message 'Skype', the light of the task bar, but in my case they do not all sound the answer to that might be in the Skype settings, but, I want is doing the actual windows to make a sound to tell me something that is happening there, and of course I can chose the sound of that.

  the example of "Skype" might not be the best here, lets say another software, when is reduced and something happens, call your attention to the icon in the taskbar with start to glow, but sometimes I'm in another place, or looking for another way I could not miss this event in this software need my immediately attention with sound, I could turn on my loud speakers so I will be heard.

  Unfortunately, the desired Windows sound is not included in the Windows sound scheme.

  However, in the article in the previous post on changing the sounds of the computer, you can see under the heading 'Windows Explorer' under the window 'events of the program'inside'sound'. You can find the other sounds of Windows Explorer as blocked pop-up navigation block, empty, trash, move menu items and so on.

  First of all make sure that the HP Solution Center is closed.

  In the control panel select programs and features to uninstall Adobe Flash Player.

  With Internet Explorer install the latest Flash Player version from the following link to get the insalled of newer version on your operating system:

  Once you are done restart your PC and try to launch the center of solutions HP once more.

  If it persists, type folder in the search bar and open the Temp folder listed.

  Open the HP installation folder that begins with the characters (e.g. 7zS1234) 7z

  Open the folder of installation, then the folder SolutionCenter.

  Right-click on SolutionCenter.msi and select Repair
  Note: If the type of file noi is shown its type must appear in the Windows Installer file.

  Once you are done restart your PC and check again.

• CD player freezes instead of economy

  I'm on Windows 10. I recently updated my version of build. Maybe it's the cause of this problem.

  When I am CD player, it worked fine. But I didn't need more than a month. Today, when I use it, any attempt to save a document gave rise to a window popping up but remains empty and will never go away. Print work always. Not sure that the next step is or should be. Let me know. Thank you.

  Try to uncheck the box for 'Show when saving files from online storage' in the Edit menu > Preferences > General and click OK to save the settings.

  Then try to save the file and check if it works.

  The pop-up cfwindows shows empty.  Why is this?  Any help is appreciated.

  Because who is considered a cross-domain request (although this seems to be the only cross-Protocol, actually an http address resolves to a different virtual host to an https address).  Take a look at this thread StackOverflow to workaround solutions.

  Also, it's probably easier to deal with using * all * other than CFWindow, as Scott suggests.
