Popup at startup

How to stop the pop-up IBM of appearing whenever I start. I tried to save it as noted several times without success. It's a piece boring pop up.

Contact the manufacturer of your computer (what you should do!) to the Council about this, or you can try the program below:

http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

This utility, which has a knowledge of auto-starting locations of any startup monitor, shows you what programs configured to run at system startup or login and that the entries in the order of processing windows. These programs include those in your startup folder, Run, RunOnce, and other registry keys. You can configure Autoruns to show other locations, including Explorer shell, toolbar extensions, helper objects to the browser, Winlogon notifications, auto and many start-up services even more. Autoruns goes way beyond the MSConfig utility bundled with Windows Me and XP.

See you soon.

    Thanks in advance

    DonOlesen

    Hello

The igfxtray.exe seems belongs to the Intel driver and this file belongs to a software for fast access to the control panel via an icon in system tray of graphs based on Intel processors.
Usually, you should see a small display Intel icon in the task bar in the lower right.
    The igfxtray.exe controls this.

So you can also disable this in msconfig.
Search type msconfig. Then, choose the StarUp tab and choose Remove the mark of the entry containing the igfxtray.exe
Now save the changes and restart the device

    To disable this popup.

  • Form1 popup at startup

Good so I found an interesting problem where whenever I start my computer, I get a pop up in the upper left corner of my screen named "Form1". Now I've already looked everywhere on how to solve this problem, but nothing really seems to help.

Form1 contains a message 'click on Skip Ad to close this window' so that a Linkbucks advertisement which leads me to believe that it is advertising and other software, there is also a section under advertising which have a box saying "your download is ready" with a button download and dubious 100% Safe' message below.

I've done a bit of Malware Bytes and put in quarantine of some issues that came, but my computer restarts the window form 1 proceeded to pop up again.

I already open MSConfig and looked through my boot options, but it seems to be nothing in respect to the pop - up of Form1 at all in there, think of you guys could give me help? It would be much appreciated.

In addition, there is an element of startup called "Sony", but he says that the manufacturer is "Unknown", I doubt that its related to the pop up of Form1 because of the name, but I've been wrong before. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's related to Sony Vegas.

I would also like to add that this popup can be closed using the window manager of tasks under 'Applications', but there will be poster at every start

Use Autoruns and verify the path.

    Also try the clean boot.

  • Dynadock - strange popup at startup!

    Hello

I just bought & installed a Dynadock to my Satellite A100. Since the installation, I get a pretty large window pop up whenever I start.

The window is called "CmEyeDialog, it has two buttons top right each with"? "on them, and in the body, he said ' TODO:?

I installed the update 2.03 compared to the original, all uninstalled then installed just the 2.03 - whenever this window, except to reboot after everything uninstalling, if no process Dynadock were aboard.
    Everyone recognizes this glitch?

    See you soon
    Richard

I don't know if this pop-up has something to do with the software Dynadock Mr. but who knows
However, I recommend installing CCLeaner tool. It is a freeware program (google simply) that cleans up the registry and fix the operating system.
It s useful and I use it also.

Then, start the msconfig and check the last tab called startup if no strange service and is not known is initially loaded.

  • "Device Failed to Connect" sound notification with no popup at startup once the desktop appears

When the desktop appears, I sound "dududu" with no popup. I had to look it up in the audio file and the explanation next to it said noise "device failed to connect.

I currently have no device attached except speakers and keyboard and mouse. I bought a HP Phopsmart printer and installed but it does not work well, so I uninstalled it. I left the USB cable connected to the computer after disconnecting the printer after reboot several times, and then disconnected. At this time the sound notification has begun.

I don't know if the printer had nothing to do with it. What should I do to fix this? Help, please. Thank you.

    Hello

Have you tried to remove your printer as described in the article?

If no, then try and see if the problem still occurs.

Check back for red or yellow bangs in Device Manager and post status.

    Steps to open Device Manager:

    1. click the Start button, type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.

You can also check if the problem persists in safe mode and post back with the State, so that we can help you better.

To use the safe mode option, follow these steps:

    1. reboot your computer and start pressing F8 on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured to start to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot Menu appears.
    2. use the arrows to choose appears in the Advanced Options in Windows Safe Mode menu and press ENTER.

  • Photoshop CS4 Extended popup at startup

    Hey guys,.

Recently, I received help to get the latest patch for the PS and the drivers for my graphics card so I could work with 3D modeling, etc. Once that everything has been updated however, I kept getting this dialog box will appear whenever I started Photoshop. It's slightly annoying and I usually click on 'No' every time, but I'm tired of it. I can't understand what more he wants from me, since I have the latest drivers and patch. The message is:

Adobe Photoshop CS4 now includes: acceleration in the graphics card. We recommend that you visit the web site of the manufacturer of your video card to download and install the latest drivers. For more information, see http://www.adobe.com/go/kb404898. Go now?

This page is just an opinion about the features and limitations of the GPU and OpenGL in the PS, which is fine, but why he keep suggesting that I update my drivers? I guess that PS is reading I can't speed up my graphics card, because he thinks that I don't have the most recent drivers. I have access to activate OpenGL etc, but no idea if this message is really all that matters. Should I just check the box "don't show" and go about my business? What do you think guys? Here is a screenshot of the box.

    PS_Popup.jpg

    Thank you

    Matt

This is a standard message box, it is not read what you have installed drivers or anything. He's here to let you know what to do if you have display problems in Photoshop (update your video card drivers). I wonder how many people actually read this message

  • Uninstall office 2000 premium with the disc

When I turn on my computer a pop says I need to insert MS office 2000 premium to use the program.  I don't want to use it and I am not able to uninstall without the disc!

You can remove the popup and forget to uninstall Office or use Revo Uninstaller. To stop the popup, delete startup entries that refer to MS Office.

Start > run > msconfig [Enter]

This will open the System Configuration utility. Look under the Startup tab and find the likely culprit. Uncheck the box next to its name, apply and OK out. You don't need to restart immediately, but next time you do, you will get a dialog box saying that you have used the utility. Just check the box that says in effect, "don't mind to this subject again".

  • Windows VISTA no real Build 6002 message after Windows updates

To start the message was superimposed in the lower right corner "this copy of Windows is not genuine".  I think there's a quick activation was wearing popup at startup I caught a glimpse of.  I did a scan with Avast boot time, which is a malware/gen inside old Western Digital MyBook utility zip installation file, I got avast delete (I did use the device, since it stopped working 2 years ago).

I started in safe mode, done rstrui.exe, selected a restore point on 30 December 2011, which was PRIOR to an installation of Windows Update, but after the download.  After restoration, virus definitions updates, boot time scan with Avast... the zip file of WD to the old address will not flagged as infected (but I deleted later anyway). Even now, Windows is genuine.

Updates automatically installed after the reboot:

Windows Defender Update - KB915597 definition 1.117.1973.0 definition... Note that this appears as installed December 30, 2011 also.

I have disabled the automatic updates of Windows installation.  Here are the updates waiting to be installed...

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 KB2656353

    [same] 2.0 SP2 KB 2656362

    [same] 3.5 SP1 KB 2657424

    [even] 4 KB 2656351

If the problem "not genuine" do not resurface, I will apply these updates, reboot and see if the problem can be reproduced.  Finally, unless a problem with updates is identified.  I kind of doubt the updates were the issue, but just eliminate the variables.

"Virus found by avast was almost certainly a false positive - the file two years ago, then he must have been scanned hundreds of times since and probably spent every time.

A Non-genuine message may appear as a result of a "race condition" where a number of processes is competing for resources or files - and the Service for the Protection of software is one of them. This causes a notification to appear, which often diappears on its own later or at the next startup.

Unless the notification remains standing thanks to a couple of boots, I worry too much on this subject.

My preference for the .NET updates is to install them separately, one at a time, to reduce the risk of conflict. You must also leave the machine for about 10 minutes after the restart of an update of .NET, because it often takes some time to "optimize" the installation later.

  • Pop-up message hidden in the opening 6 Lightroom on a Mac?

When I open Lightroom 6 there seems to be two screens/message window that appear for a very brief moment. I can't find these pop-up windows once the program opens. Y at - it something to see what these are? They can initially be a problem starting on occasion so I wonder if there are questions to answer. Thank you.

    Hi dawnw,

If you don't see this error before she disappear, then there is no way to find the message.

You can disable the GPU in the Lightroom preferences and check if you still get some popups on startup.

    Open Lightroom

Go to Lightroom preferences in the Edit menu

    Click the performance tab

    Deselect the graphics processor

    Restart Lightroom

    Hello

Have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Put the computer in a clean boot state, then check if that helps you.

How to solve the problem by running the clean boot in Windows Vista:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: Once you have completed troubleshooting, perform the steps in the step 7: to reset the computer as usual.

    Method 2:

Run the Microsoft Safety Scanner and check if there are any threats found.

    Microsoft safety scanner: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: If no threat found check if the file is necessary or not, then delete it.

Also make sure that the popup is secure and then install if necessary. Windows updates are all secure and this is only the computer and Windows manufacturer. Optional updates are the manufacturer of the computer and the manufacturer of the application that you have installed. Important updates are Microsoft and it must be installed. I also suggest you try to install Service pack 2 on your computer and check if that helps.
