  In the desperate not to use Flash more attempts, I put the activation setting to 'ask to activate '.   When you click on "Keep blocking" Firefox adds an entry to the basis of site permissions (permissions.sqlite) to you don't bother with the information bar more. The notification icon to always appear in the address bar.

  You can also view the permissions of the Page Info dialog Panel. You can call it using one of these:

  • Right click and select View Page Info > permissions
  • (menu bar) Menu Tools > Page Info > permissions
  • Click the icon of padlock or globe to the left of the address of the site > additional information > permissions

  There should be a section from the permissions list of plugin on the site where you can find 'Adobe Flash' and if it is set to block, change it back to "Use default".

  If that's not restore the bar information, and you can't live without it, there are three ways less than ideal to clear this permission setting:

  (1) use the feature "Forget this Site" to erase all data for the site: site permissions, bookmarks, cookies, history, everything. If you right click on any entry in the history of the site, "Forget this Site" is on the shortcut menu.

  (2) completely remove database permissions from site (but this removes things like blocks of cookie, permissions popup, etc. for all sites). I do not recommend this.

  (3) use an extension that allows you to edit the permissions from site database (a little involved, see: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1011980#answer-606947).

  I tried to get FFox to save the password on a site and it is a failure. I enter username, password, have the Save checked password and click login. Does not work.

  The site that I use is www.sccrow.com. I created a guestpw of reviews and pw userid if someone wants to test. Its a site that's being built, the content so there's nothing close to finished.

  The form uses autocomplete = off to stop recording data form as the name and password of Firefox, but in this case, the form is in an iframe and the version of the bookmarklet on the squarefree.com site does not handle this case.

  The version on the size of the knowledge base of mozillaZine for iframes facilities (such as the second bookmarklet), then you can use this version or use inspect element context menu and change the autocomplete = "off" to autocomplete = 'on' in these two areas.

  You can remove autocomplete = off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox to store data of form such as names and passwords.

  Note that Firefox doesn't form data automatically populate automatically saved when autocomplete = off is used, you must double-click the empty name field for a drop-down list.

  Normally, the Blocker allows the actions triggered by the user. Certainly if you click on a link, it should not be blocked, unless there is something very strange about the link (for example, it is not a normal link but runs a very unusual script).

  Is it possible that you have installed an extension that changes how popup works block - or who joined popups to links? You can review and configure, disable, or remove extensions here:

  Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Extensions category

  Typically, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

  Alternately, you could test mode without failure of Firefox. It is a standard diagnostic tool in order to avoid interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

  Hi Annmac,

  Generally, you will see a bar at the top of the page asking you if you want to allow pop-up windows. This happens to you?

  If this isn't the case, you got nothing to worry about. You can add an exception for the blocker. Take a look at this article and it will show you how to allow popups for a particular site.

  Looking at the details of your system (to the right of your message) looks like it is due to the expansion of the Site Finder is an adware that makes the things you described. It doesn't come from Mozilla, nor is it hosted at addons.mozilla.org

  Don't know how to get the exact button back (sorry) I dig around too much to do...
  But! Today, I found by chance that by clicking and holding on the back button the same box to popup in last-12-sites and you can stream on the list to return to that particular site.

  On iPhone, it seems that I'm mostly limited to touching almost all data from Safari, but also a gentle restoration, I've done both. Also, to note I didn't know all the ads on Chrome iOS app, just Safari and the Facebook app using their built-in browser.
