Popup of State session

APEX 4.2

By clicking on the link of Session at the bottom of a page run through the constructor a page that displays elements session state data.

But when page elements are populated by an automatic APEX fetch line treat such as Type of Source / = Always/database column, these page elements do not appear on the window session state, so that we cannot see their values.

I'm sure it wasn't the behavior of 4.0. No idea why it was changed? Is there a way to return to the original behavior?

This is due to changes in 4.2 to session state management. It improves performance and reduces the roll forward.

Using JDeveloper 11.1.2.4.
We have several use cases that have linked the workflow shown in dialogues. Dialogues are defined in the workflow. The dialogues show very well related workflows. However, if we have a session timeout, we are witnessing the login page that appears inside the window of dialogue instead of the home page. Any suggestions out there?
I have the text on a command button, invoking the action of dialogue BTF.

Hello. Digging into the issue, we had a requirement to force the user to the logon page when the session expires. However, the Service of Dialogue rich ADF fires and wants to ask us if we want to save the changes or continue leaving the popup. To work around this problem, we made a JS call, follow these steps:
```
AdfAgent.AGENT.removeBubbleEventListener(AdfPage.PAGE.getDomWindow(),"beforeunload", AdfDhtmlRichDialogService._beforeUnloadHandler);
```
So, in summary, we had created a PagePhaseListener to inject some JS in every page to make a timer based client-side redirect. However, the Service of RichDialogue ADF complain if there are changes in the pop-up window. To work around this problem, the timer called the removeBubbleEventListener.

It works, I think it might be a bit fragile between versions.

You use the condition parameters of article readonly?

CheckBox and select items does not in HTML readonly property. ReadOnly checkbox in the case of Oracle APEX is setting the disabled property. Therefore, on presentation of the page it is originally the error of session state protection.

An easy way to do this is to write a dynamic action (run Javascript) to disable the checkbox if necessary:
```
$("#P11_NEW_FLAG").attr("disabled",true);
```
But write a front page submit dynamic action (run Javascript) to activate elements disabled on the page, so that the layout of the page works fine:
```
$("#P11_NEW_FLAG").removeAttr("disabled");
```

State of session and CSS
If you have an element of the screen which must have the value 'Yes' session state, session state economy causes CSS not working for this element. Change 'save session state' on 'no', and the CSS will work.

If the display settings do not save session state then APEX product just a scope where the id attribute is the name of the element, the ID CSS selector is simply the name of the element. If the elements save session state, then APEX generates an element entry hidden where the id attribute is the name of the element and a visible display shadow cover where the id attribute is the name of the element suffixed with DISPLAY, the required CSS ID selector would be so #ITEMNAME_DISPLAY.

This is obvious if you inspect the element using the web Inspector.

It's a quirk in how the login page is called using the deep link, created by the manufacturer. To work around this problem, you can set page 101 to Unrestricted so that no amount of control is necessary.

My system is the 10.7.5 version and I get pop up windows that show that having a virus. I can't get rid of the popup as my screen freezes.

Snipped sessions issue

I am facing some problems regarding the chiseled sessions. As I raised the tar on metalink link they gave me the script to run. I run it after all the two hours in the crontab.

In the profile, I put the session timeout to 15 minutes. What happens when the user has reached at this time the snip State session but not in session has expired. If your database is paralyzed through all of these notched sessions, and you cannot remove the idle of the profile because you have different profiles, then we are to the script you already use. (It is also mentioned in [601605.1 ID] on Metalink)

Help Popup not rendered HTML based on the referenced element.
I have a named item & P104_GENDER on a page that references a hidden item, which is calculated using a calculation that uses a database function to retrieve data to help for the item and fill in the hidden element.

So for this article, is the source of help & P104_GENDER_HELP. & P104_GENDER_HELP is filled with "Please enter a sex. Possible values are: & lt; BR & gt; -Male & lt; BR & gt; -Female' according to the debugging session.

When I click on the label to display the context-sensitive Help window, it displays: "Please enter a sex. Possible values are: & lt; BR & gt; -Male & lt; BR & gt; -Female. "

Apex 3.X, the HTML would render correctly and it would display:

Please enter a sex. Possible values are:
-Male
-Female

But in Apex 4.0, it makes just the text as if it had no HTML implementation involved form, i.e. "Please enter a sex. Possible values are: & lt; BR & gt; -Male & lt; BR & gt; -Female. "

However, if I put the source directly for help on the question "Please enter a sex. Possible values are: & lt; BR & gt; -Male & lt; BR & gt; -Female", without reference to the hidden item, it renders properly in HTML format.

I tried to change my label template to use javascript:popupfieldhelpclassic instead of the javascript:popupfieldhelp function, but I get the same wrong result.

When I looked at the source that is generated in the pop-up window when you reference an element hidden, is to convert the < and >, symbols of "& lt" and "& gt" respectively, which means it does reference the text from the element hidden in the form of literal text and convert anything that resembles HTML in plain text instead of treat it only as HTML. I can see why this would be useful for some people, but it's not so useful to me, especially since he is used to the opposite effect.

They have both have in common, is that they use the wwv_flow_item_help.show_help function. I guess that the culprit lies in this encapsulated code.

Anyone has an idea on how to work around this problem so that text coming from referenced items analyzed and presented in HTML format instead of literal text?

So I think the problem is, when you click the label, he calls a procedure that returns the text of help via AJAX. In my view, this procedure escapes html tags, and from what I can tell, there is no setting to disable. :( Even if you load classic help, these tags are also escaped. There may be tweaks that I don't know, but I looked into the security of the shared components section, but nada.

So a possible solution?

A quick and dirty solution would be to replace the escape with their html tags characters so that it is rendered correctly

The other solution I was going to suggest was to write your own application process that gets you some JSON - Martin D'Souza has written a blog on the use of the apex_util.json_from_sql; which is what you would probably use a query such as:

The problem is the text of the done element refers to another page, so it would return to the value chain e.g. & P12_ITEM. of course it wouldn't be to hard to get around.

and then as a quick primer to a way of doing AJAX

Where nom_processus is the name of an application process that you create

2. Add the necessary parameters

helpText.addParam ("x 01', 'itemId')
helpText.addParam ("x 02', 'P12_ITEM')

This is to add temporary variables that can be reference via apex_application.g_f0x; the alternative is that you can add paremeters State session with

helpText.add ('nom_element', 'ITEM_VALUE') and get sent when you call the object's get() function.

3. get the JSON and parse
obj = JSON.parse (helpText.get ());

Then create the http://jqueryui.com/demos/dialog/ for the help dialog box

I think that your file is corrupted somehow, and resettlement is not overwhelming. I found the file on my computer, and it contains the version mentioned in the error label. I tied my file, so go ahead and try to replace your file .cws with this one and let me know what happens. I hope this helps!

OHS & APEX - office/Mobile NO alternative standard connection to consume the apex and on request

I have quite the problem and I do not see a solution and I hope someone might be able to provide advice how to on this subject.
Here is my scenario:

I have 2 APEX applicationa, both with its own set of processes on demand (about 300), authentication schemes, page elements. Each application is only 2 pages (login, home).
I've got 2 software applications, running on the Office of the AIR and the other a mobile application.
Problem

Connection for APEX WITHOUT ever going to the login page of the application in a web browser. In short, think of it as if I had BROWSER WEB No..
I need to identify, authenticate and retrieve session information so I can call and then process on request through some Ajax calls in my applications, using post/get and pass the base APP_ID, PAGE_ID, SESSION_ID.
Security must stay tight, which means that all calls are made via https/SSL.
Currently, I can come out with a solution dirty air, which is to pass the user name, password the URL to the login page.
Connection direct yo the database is not an option.
Is where I'm stuck, how can I do this correctly.
I recently worked around a violation of the page, passing the name of user and password in the URL, but the mobile app gets Bad request.
I even started looking at REST, to provide the login? But how to replace this APEX for session state, session valid etc..
But what would be the entire installation, that's what troubles me. ? Is there an api I do not know of. Whaty I am missing. I've worked with Oracle 8 years and cannot imagine not being able to connect to APEX without going to a web page.
Maybe there is a way to expose some PL/SQL for the internet in a safe way? According toher, rewriting authentication custom apex coding style (htp.init, get_cookie, set cookie, apex_application_custom_auth, etc.)?

Single image, dozens of VLAN

I've been retooling a customers view Horizon 5.2 screw for the last few months. The basics are this: a VDI cluster in a datacenter location and relatively low extended latency LANs to branch offices. Fortunately for speeds not my concern, but they have many branch offices connected via VLAN extended from the data center. Those who set them up initially thought that the creation of a different master for each VIRTUAL LAN snapshot was the way to go when it comes to re - composing dozens of pools. Needless to say, he denies a little ease of maintaining a single image when you have multiple snapshots to be taken with the right network vlan assigned to them.
I already have the PowerCli assign run based on the location of the VMS specific prefix variables and set the network from that location. Perfect - for me anyway. I will not distribute this return to a VMware expert, so I'll try to automate as much as I can. I'm not convinced that using QuickPrep as opposed to SysPrep is the answer - that would allow me to run a PS script to machines, and sysprep capability to "run once" does not work because, well, it is not installed VM Cli power on virtual methods.
I realize that once the pools are re-deployed correctly, there should be very little reason in fact, re - dial pools using Sysprep - the client must simply be refreshing that all my VMs properties will keep the same, just update the operating system. But in the interest of making more work for me, can anyone suggest a way to call a PS script to run using a custom script customization specifications Manager I can link to the pools in the console of administration of the view?
If there isn't a solid medium to do, I think I might just leave a bunch of scripts PS on the desk of the vCenter server that can be run against any location / vlan must have networks adjusted to. If I put my GM to do all join them on the management network AD when a recomposition is made and then everything just leave instructions to manually call the appropriate location script on the server vCenter to set PS the VLAN after the linked clones are completely, it will work too - but I'd do not have to worry about this and that he posts to clone / customization so it can be set and forgotten.

Embed YouTube - Weird Bug?

Hi all -
Situation: I have several pages in an article with the ESM. The 2nd popups to state a light box and includes some videos on YouTube. These all work great for the first three pages, showing the different videos for each.
Problem: Now, I'm on the fourth page, and for some reason any, even if I copy a for a different video embed code, when I saw this article in LCA, is to show the previous videos with a white bar above and the number of '0 '. I tried to incorporate other videos and I get the same bug.
Any ideas?

Search using LOV cascade
Hi all

I'm unable to do a search using a LOV cascading,
I have an option in the first selection list and then it is generated a list in the second selection list, where I also choose an option.
Now when I press submit, I see the return value in my second select list and no results.
I wrote a custom query to retrieve the results, and I also have other fields of research, which work perfectly.

Anyone have any ideas on what I might hurt?

1st selection list (parent) is empty and then the child selection list displays only the return value

suggests that select 1 is not registered in the session, while the second is saved, but the application does not set the value (probably because query that uses the parent selection list not returned no records). Check the session state (session in the developer toolbar in the foot buton) whenever the page is refreshed (submitted, reloaded, etc.).
How is sent after choosing the areas?
You have a branch reset that one of these elements, or does this second selection a redirect (and has not set the first)
