Snipped sessions issue

Hello

I am facing some problems regarding the chiseled sessions. As I raised the tar on metalink link they gave me the script to run. I run it after all the two hours in the crontab.

In the profile, I put the session timeout to 15 minutes. What happens when the user has reached at this time the snip State session but not in session has expired. As I monitored by EM I've seen this behavior. Can someone tell me why it defines the State of chiseled Instead of display the session has expired.

The script was given by metalink was as follows:

tmpfile=/flashrec/tmp.txt
sqlplus / as sysdba < < EOF
Set feedback off
coil $tmpfile
Select p.spid in v$ process p, v$ session s
where s.paddr = p.addr
and s.status = 'SNIPED';
spool off
EXPRESSIONS OF FOLKLORE
for x in ' cat $tmpfile | "grep" ^ [0123456789] ""
do
Kill-9 $x > / dev/null 2 > & 1
is
$tmpfile
thank you for your cooperation.

Kind regards

Adnan Hamdussalam

If your database is paralyzed through all of these notched sessions, and you cannot remove the idle of the profile because you have different profiles, then we are to the script you already use. (It is also mentioned in [601605.1 ID] on Metalink)
I can't think one another (or more elegant) solution at this time...

    Hello

    I have a few questions of security/session for you guys.

    My application uses flex, blazeds and spring. I use RemoteObjects to launch calls from flex to java. The application consists of a login screen and "other displays" available only to users authenticated after logging. When the user opens a session on the server stores the credentials of the user on the FlexContext (FlexContext.getFlexSession () .setAttribute). If the server time-out is reached and the user presses 'Refresh' is thrown the user and the login screen is displayed.

    Question 1: How can I check if the timeout is reached when the user makes a call to the server, without checking manually against the FlexContext. Are there settings to set?

    Question 2: Is it necessary to check the credentials of the user in the session for each call of flex-server? (I guess someone can omit the login screen and do a manual call)

    Question 3: If the answer to question 2 is Yes, how can I check against the session identification information? The only way I can think is to call a method that verifies the session attribute manually, but then I must not forget to add this method call to each of the called methods from flex through Blazeds. Is it, for example, possible to call user-user forward that the method given in the RemoteObject is called? (If not authenticated, do not run method).

    Hope that someone took the time to help me.

    mr2r, good to work with a security filter that I have described, in my own app I'm working on that I will follow this example using Spring security:

    http://www.Adobe.com/devnet/flex/articles/flex_security.html#ACH-setscr

    I think you should go with the approach of the spring above.

    (Note, there is a problem running mvn clean install now, but you can look at all the parties in the source code and understand what is happening.) This is a great tutorial).

  • Records of the TWG visible to other functions within a session?

    Hello! My TWG (global temporary Table) was created with ON COMMIT DELETE ROWS;

    My question suppose that several pl\sql functions called by ODP.NET can run within a single session because of connection pooling.
    Is this the right hypothesis?

    I was unable to catch it again but did not exclude the possibility that records inserted into a global temporary Table with a
    function 'slow' may be visible to another function ("fast") before the problems of slow function a COMMIT. Worth, a quick function can
    issue VALIDATION until the slow end actually destroying records in a TWG.

    Am I correct in my assumptions that the data of the TWG can be removed if another function within a session issues a COMMIT?

    Sorry in advance, but I'm going through after the first part of my question in the ODP.NET forum as well.

    Many thanks in advance,

    I think perhaps you are getting confused however. The mandate of a connection pool is give a connection when asked and remove it from the pool so no other resource uses.

    So if you had "multiple threads" in your 'client' which would translate to the X pool connections. Each connection is a dedicated Oracle session. So if you have 3 "threads" you have 3 sessions of Oracle, as I said before... I'm sure that there is no way for a pool of connections to give you 2 connections to the same session (until this session is returned to the pool, of course, I speak of overlap here).

    The only way "where a function may inadvertently delete the documents that belong to another function" is when the two functions are called in the same SESSION of ORACLE.

    And you program in general for this. You provide a service that is atomic, one that does not rely on the client calling X routines before hand and hope, while hoping the client continues win the lottery and get the correct pool of connections Oracle session (because your process is based on the TWG or package global variables, and a specific state that has been defined for example). If you have a situation where you have to go back and forth between the client and the database (client must process the data of the 1 function call in order to feed the function call 2 for example) during several connection pool connections, then you program for it using things like the overall application contexts.

    It all comes down to management and the definition of the transaction. YOU need to reach this output so that the customer knows call 1 single routine is a transaction and if you and the customer agree that you have need of a return in the way I described above, then YOU must extended that out as well, and design for this.

    I can assure you that Oracle session X will never see a session Oracle Y. TWG data unless you manage to break the database and find a horrible bug that is :)

    See you soon,.

  • RV042 cannot summarize upstream bandwidth

    Hi all,

    Since I bought my CISCO RV042 (v3 hardware, firmware v4.1.1.01 - sp December 6, 2011 20:03:18) I couldn't leave work properly with my two llines of DSL network.

    I explain.

    I had 2 DSL network:

    1 - PPPoE with authentication (MTU set as auto) with 4 Mbps of upstream and downstream speed 5 Mbit/s speed

    2-direct line with IP static with 7Mbit/S of upstream and downstream Speed 1Mbps speed

    I never could SUM the two WAN by using all of the LOAD BALANCE.

    I tried all combinations:

    DSL 1 in WAN 1 or 2 WAN

    DSL 2 in 2 WAN or 1 WAN

    I set any speeds speed WAN management Web

    It seems, for some sort of reason it takes of the upstream speed, I can put web management default value on which he decides to use the other WAN.

    When I put the low-bandwidth for DSL 2 upstream, it is able to sum up the endorsements of WAN but not the upstreams.

    I was never not abel to add the upstreams?

    How does it work?

    There is no work around for this problem?

    Thanks in advance

    Frank

    FRA,

    Load Balancing is used to balance the traffic accroos the two links for not using the two links at the same time for the same traffic. For example, it can be configured to send 1 PC on a line and PC2 on another, or you might send http link and https via two connection. Once you start sending links to two the same session, unless you use virtual MAC or virtual IPs. You'll have session issues and drop packets.

    I hope this helps.

    I consider this to be an Oracle product defect but of course we'll have to workaround this because Oracle Support hasn't been forthcoming with help recently.

    I found a query previously that helped identify the blocking session so that we can complete the process:

    select
    distinct
       ses.ksusenum sid, ses.ksuseser serial#, ses.ksuudlna username,KSUSEMNM module,
       ob.kglnaown obj_owner, ob.kglnaobj obj_name
       ,lk.kgllkcnt lck_cnt, lk.kgllkmod lock_mode, lk.kgllkreq lock_req
       , w.state, w.event, w.wait_Time, w.seconds_in_Wait
    from
     x$kgllk lk, x$kglob ob,x$ksuse ses
      , v$session_wait w
    where lk.kgllkhdl in
    (select kgllkhdl from x$kgllk where kgllkreq >0 )
    and ob.kglhdadr = lk.kgllkhdl
    and lk.kgllkuse = ses.addr
    and w.sid = ses.indx
    order by seconds_in_wait desc

    My question is twofold:

    1. The query above works only on instances that had put 10 gr 2 and not on those that have been built in charges on 11 GR 2 as apparently tit x$ kgllk view and related synonyms are removed in 11G (see Oracle support Doc ID 878623.1).
    2. Even if I can find other views to use, I don't like the thought of my deployment/upgrade script, through "blindly" to kill a session in order to succeed in restoring the XSD.

    How can I do for correctly locking and releasing the XSD to avoid library cache lock? If not, is it possible to clear the cache of library?

    Hmm - I think I myself have solved taking into account something that Odie_63 or Marco Gralike had mentioned earlier...

    I modified my diagram procedure to release all resources to validate and I no longer get the library cache lock:

    create or replace procedure sp_schema_validate_xml(pi_xml IN XMLType,
                                                       pi_xml_schema  IN VARCHAR2)
    is
      v_count number;
      v_err_msg varchar2(4000);
      v_xml xmltype;
    begin
          --do level 1 schema validation
          if  pi_xml.isSchemaValid(pi_xml_schema) = 0 then --level 1 vldtn failed. do level 2

            begin --do level 2 vldtn
              v_xml := pi_xml.createSchemaBasedXML(pi_xml_schema);

              v_xml.schemaValidate();

            end;

          end if;

          dbms_session.modify_package_state(dbms_session.free_all_resources);

    end sp_schema_validate_xml;

  • LGWR and cursor

    Please, I appreciate your help for these 2 questions:

    1 - can add more process lgwr as dbwr? If so why, if not why

    2. with regard to the sliders: when a session issues a statement select ex:
    Select * from hr.employees
    table blocks used are in the buffer cache used otherwise the server process copy blocks
    from the data file in the buffer cache... is this day in time?

    lets say the same session updates the employee records, are the same blocks moved to the shared pool to satisfy the sharing
    the same blocks of another session and then only those data blocks are called a slider and moved to the shared and shared pool
    other sessions by using the definition of a parameter cursor_sharing

    Please the clarification is really appreciated

    concerning

    CURSOR_SHARING has nothing to do with the sharing of data blocks. CURSOR_SHARING tell Oracle how and if two SQL statements that differ only by the presence or absence of bind variables can share the same query plan (the plan is stored in the library in the shared pool cache). This has nothing to do with the data blocks.

    Blocks of data are not stored in the shared pool, only in the buffer cache.

  • Session of visa driver looping issue

    Hello

    This is the first time I ever install a loop with a session driver visa in it. I'm trying to recover a table of data flow. The indices of the table correspond to physical locations (x, y) on this point that I measure the flow. This is why I need the data to be read as a 5 x 7 of the stream array. The matrix 5 x 7 is collected 3 times (at 3 different heights z). However, I can't understand why I make three 6 x 7 matrices instead of a 5 x 7. I can't tell if it's my registry setup shift, where my visa session is implemented, etc. I just can't understand it.

    Could someone looking at my code attached (it's quite simple, just 3 nested for loops with the session of visa inside, and that data are sent on to 3 matrices, which is then stripped more which can be ignored)

    Thank you very much

    Chelsea

    First of all, I don't see a point in all the structures of the sequence.  What they do is create clutter.

    Secondly, why you add the second to the last results to results together?  Here comes your additional index.  Get rid of this shift register and table construction.

  • Permission issues key on the remote desktop session host server

    Morning all,

    I tried to fix a few problems that we wanted on our new Office Server remotely.

    This is a new server that we have put in place a few days ago and is now on the site in a remote and ready to leave office.

    We moved a few users on the server yesterday to begin to test it, but met with some major problems that we have not seen before.

    Server 2008 R2 and is the host of the session, and server roles installed licenses, as well as services (search and file server roles) of the file.

    The problems we have are:

    • Trying to configure Outlook 2010 exchange account using the automatic configuration, we get the error code: 0 x 80070057
    • When you open MS Word, we get: "your AutoCorrect file, \MSO2057.acl, could not be saved. The file may be read-only, or you do not have permission to modify the file.
    • When Word is closed, we get: "cannot save or create this file. Make sure that the disk you want to save the file on is not full, write-protected or damaged. (C:\normal.dotm)
    • Some users have managed to get their Outlook account settings, but get the same error code in the point 1, when you try to open or to move an e-mail message
    • Windows search is also a problem, as in the start menu search returns no results, and clicking on "see more results" gives an error: Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. May not permissions to access you the item.

    First impressions, wherever the registry for AppData folders by user settings, have not been defined properly, which means that files that are trying to write, try saving in the wrong place.

    I didn't know how to check this in the registry, but all the environment variables look be ok compared to our running Server 2008 R2 RD.

    If anyone can offer suggestions or advice, that would be greatly appreciated.

  • AnyConnect Session Timeout issue

    We have some remote users that are not happy with the SSL Connect connection down after close their laptops or lose their wireless for once. I read this question and answer of a Cisco page and I was wondering where the session time-out setting is changed. It's on the network client, software map AnyConnect or ASA firewall?

    Thank you, Pat.

    Q. What is the AnyConnect reconnect behavior?

    A. AnyConnect will attempt to reconnect if the connection is interrupted. This behavior is not configurable and auto. As long as the session on the SAA is still valid, the session will resume if AnyConnect can restore the physical connection.

    Version 2.2 includes a roaming feature that allows AnyConnect reconnect after a sleep of PC. The client will continue to try indefinitely until the head told him he can't reconnect and the client will not immediately RIP into the tunnel when the system goes Standby/Hibernate implementation. For customers who don't want this feature, set the session timeout value low to prevent sleep or resume reconnects.

    And also, for the new AnyConnect profile changes take effect, you will need to reconnect your AnyConnect session if the new policy is pushed to the client.

    OK, you get close.

    I just did the wf to test this situation. Networkid = always to "#vmNetwork1.id" does not work.

    Create an action that returns the id as follows:

    Now default Networkid like this:

    (your path of action / parameter name / past will probably be different, please adapt)

    If it works properly your interaction with the user will look like that.

    The box containing a script with the code:

    var vcdHost = app.getHost();
     prodvAPPNetwork = vcdHost.getEntityById(VclFinderType.ORG_NETWORK, networkId);
     System.log(prodvAPPNetwork);                // I get Null

  • Issue the odd monitor Sessions

    With the help of 3.0.04 Developer SQL Server Oracle 10 g connection.

    I can't see all user sessions when I use the sessions monitor option in the Tools menu. I see my sessions, but not other users.

    The strange thing is that if I use the Sessions by username report (under the heading data dictionary reports > Database Administration > Sessions) I get a list of user sessions that I am unable to see using the report of 'Sessions' at the same place.

    The user I log in SQL Developer's SYS. If I log in Enterprise Manager, with the same user credentials, I can see all sessions.

    The weird bit is it didn't used to be like that, and I never am not aware of all the changes have been made that there would be. I have been using the Sessions of the monitor with success for at least 9 months and it was only behave like that in the last 3 weeks. I guess that everything that happens is just a select < something > session $ v? What do you think is the cause?

    Thank you

    Casper

    This is the 2nd.

    Here's the question you need to ask - why would one of your end users to access the database via the "SYSTEM" very restricted and privileged account?

    Adding filtering to this screen and this report features are a good idea to explore in the riding of SQL Developer
