  I am trying to configure a simple port forward in the RV 120W router, but can't seem to make it work.

  I created a custom service called RDP for the TCP 3389 3389 port.  I added a Port forward to always allow the RDP service, from any source to destination IP 192.168.50.23 IP address.  I tried with 'identical to incoming port' and also specified the port 3389 to forward to and to.

  Firewall access rule is activated and incoming value, always allow, RDP service, any source & destination IP, DNAT IP is 192.168.50.23.

  RDP works at the IP address of the local network.

  Any ideas?

  There is a problem with the RV220W, and work around this problem:

  Just use the firewall rules and not port forwarding.

  try on your rv120w and see.  Make sure that the last thing you do is re save firewall rule.

  It will be useful.

  WAN_PC-> WAN - PORT-> WRT160N V3-> LOCAL - PORT-> LOCAL_PC

  The WAN PORT has a static IP 192.168.1.1, subnet 255.255.255.0

  ON the WRT160N V3, I set up a DMZ on 192.168.0.100.and off the firewall.

  On the LOCAL_PC (192.168.0.100:8888) is an Apache

  So when I type 192.168.1.1:8888 on the WAN_PC I get NOOO the Apache on 192.168.0.100:8888 Web site?

  Please correct me if I'm wrong. My understanding of your installation, it is that you have a computer connected to the internet port of the router and another computer connected to the router's ethernet port? Is this correct? You don't have a modem for internet connection or something like that? If you can post here a diagram that will be better. Thank you.

  I got Skypenumbers from the beginning. But since two months call forwarding no longer works. I renewed my subscription; I have 30 euros on credit account. I even tried a new Skype number to see if the old number could have crashed. But also the new number does not work with call forwarding.

  It's abit frustrating to read Skype/Microsoft does not very serious service.

  This problem will be resolved, or must we begin to use the other services?

  I have finanlly managed to get a conversation with the assistance service. It was still not available, but I got lucky.

  And they found the problem; I got in the App on one of my Macs 'private' privacy setting This is why di call forwarding does not work. So I changed it to open and now it works.

• Port replicator does not work with Satellite P100-160 & Vista

  I just bought a Toshiba duplicator (part number: PX1173U-1PRP) but it does not work with the o/s Vista pre-installed on my P100-160. Can someone tell me where to find the Vista drivers for this device?

  It seems that the standard driver is not compatible with Vista and so you will need a new from the Toshiba page.
  You must remove the old driver and then install the new version.

• Satellite M45 - S351 - port PCMCIA does not work

  Help!

  I have a M45-S351. My PCMCIA slot is not working.
  When I go into Device Manager there are problems with the system Interrupt controller, SD slot & some unknown PCI device.
  Windows cannot locate the drivers.

  I downloaded all the drivers from the Toshiba web site.

  I always get these problems.
  I even did a restore of the entire system. Yet these problems come back. Does anyone have an idea what is the cause or how to fix?

  If you run recovery to reinstall Windows to its factory condition, and you have installed the latest version of the BIOS, then its likely to be a hardware problem. Maybe the Southbridge on the motherboard failed.

• LRT214 Port Forwarding does not

  First of all, when you create a service in the port forwarding section, why to select the two TCP/UDP has been omitted from the selection must be embarrassing for Linksys.  Creation of 2 services, one for the other for UDP and TCP are bad design.  Would love to see that this problem has been corrected in future updates of the firmware.

  The main problem is I have configured port forwarding services, but I can't get anything to work.  I am able to access remotely to the router using the port 1443 that is configured in a separate section.  I worked in the network design and mgmt for 10 years and why Linksys decided to make the management for the LRT214 so different interface, then the rest of the market was a bad decision.  Is there anything else you can suggest to help out why these ports cannot be opened through the FW?

  On this router logs show nothing.  There is no log for blocked inbound connections and there is a class router business?

  After setting up some boxes of Windows on the local network, then transfer to a custom RDP listening port, I am able to RDP in these Windows boxes remotely.  It verifies that the Linksys router is forwarding ports correctly.  The question then is something on the Synology device itself.  Thanks for your response!

  When I'm in the timeline panel, I can't step forward or backward using either the arrow or 'K' + 'L '. It just stays at the same setting... any ideas?

  I trashed preferences, clean the media cache and tried all the settings in audio equipment. Did not work.

  BUT I solved it by making a new sequence and copy everything on.

  The VGA port doesn't seem to work in my Qosmio X 500 02 g.
  Can someone tell me why?

  My hypothesis is a defective VGA Port, because it worked very well, but there might be a chance that there is a random setting that gives me a hard time.

  The cablings - tested on my desk (also used a different cable)
  The monitor works - use it with my desktop computer (also tried with another monitor and a TV)

  The laptop acknowledges that the monitor is connected, when I'm in the resolution settings and click "Detect" that it finds the monitor (and when I remove it, it disappears) when I disconnect the cable from the monitor fate of sleep to tell me there is no VGA input detected (but when it is plugged it still tells me there is no entry).

  I tried to turn on the laptop with the connected monitor.
  I tried to change the resolution and display settings.
  The graphics driver is updated.

  I read the manual, it isn't something useful here in on the subject.
  I tried "duplicate" and "extend" display options.

  When external screen is not connected to the computer and when you use the FN + F5 key combination appears only one output option LCD.
  When portable external is connected and recognized correctly several options will be available for FN + F5 key combination.

  Can you please check this and see if you can switch between notebook LCD and external monitor by using the FN + F5 key combination?

• P50 MiniDisplay port still does not work on Windows 10

  It was very strange that the DP-port lifeboat recognizes my external monitor on Windows 10 after update BIOS to 1.24 (can be not linked). It was working before. I use a DP - VGA adapter, and I suspect me that there is a problem with the adapter. But when I switch to Ubuntu, it works. In Windows 10, the computer screen flashes to black and back when I connect the external monitor to it. But as part of the screen, it cannot detect the second monitor. • IEEE 1394 Port SL500 - does not work for me

  Hello. This is my first time.

  I tried to connect my SL500 to a recorder Digital hard disk using entrance to DVI of the recorder and the port IEEE 1394 of the laptop on the left side near the front. The goal is to save a slide show of pictures, or other photo folders, with music from Windows Media Player, on a recorder to external hard drive (made by LiteOn) where I can make a copy on a DVD-R. However, there is no signal coming out of the port IEEE 1394 laptop. When I plugged everything together there was a message saying that the 1394 connection has been recognized and ready to use. But still no signal. With no other connected external monitor, I tried Fn + F7 to display on an external monitor, but which was not allowed.

  I used the same IEEE 1394 cable in the past to copy the DVI output on my digital video camcorder on the recorder's DVI input Digital hard disk to make the DVD. So, I know that's not the problem.

  The website of Lenovo and Lenovo Care online help doesn't give any idea on how to make the IEEE 1394 port. Someone out there has a suggestion? My warranty expired about 1 month ago and support won't talk with me about this, unless I have buy a new guarantee $ 500 (approximately).

  I really like the SL500. It does everything I need and does it well, except for this problem.

  First check to see if your external recorder is displayed in Device Manager. If this isn't the case, drivers must be found either MSoft LiteON.

  For the port IEEE1394 SL500 transfer the data on your device external HARD drive you will need to walk manually assign a drive letter, if its not automatically on connection. That could be your second problem.

  Usually, I work on my laptop and monitor, which I use by plugging the vga cable. I use this set to the top for more than a year and never had any problems.

  Now, nothing happens when I plug in the cable. I checked with another laptop and the screen appears on the monitor - it seems that the problem is with my laptop.
