  As far as I know you don t need any special port replicator driver. If this port replicator is defined as compatible for your laptop model and that you use original Toshiba recovery image it will be recognized automatically and you will be able to use all the available ports on this port reflector.

  After update to java 6u20 to 6u23 the Wireless Manager is not able to find the device UMTS / 3G. Afterswitching back to system prefs, the UMTS device recovery / 3 G has been correctly detected by the Wireless Manager and everthing works fine, but the recovered java 6u20 does not work in the system and even in the browser (32 bit ff 3.6.13).

  What can I do to get back to a proper functioning?

  Well - I found the answer to the first question - how to enter in Bios in W10 - energy options that you must disable the quick start - then you enter BIOS just taking the F12 to power. Worked on my two Portégé.

• NET Framework 2.0 and 3.5 updates detected repeatedly, KB2633880, KB2572073 and KB2518864

  It seems that I lived this same problem with Windows Update services month last in terms of detection repeatedly updates.  This time they appear as essential.  My computer on my wireless network is running Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium Edition, which does not show updates available at this time.  The problem is now on my XP - Pro, also running IE8.  The three current updates, KB2633880, KB2572073 and KB2518864 have installed three times since my troubleshooting steps to fix the Windows updates detection did not work.  I ran so far, the cleanup tool NET Frame and Safet Scanner from Microsoft, which withdrew a piece of malware.  This is getting monotonous!  Microsoft has a solution?

  Now that I have reinstalled 931125, this update does not reocurr under Windows Update.  So what I had to do was hide remaining ones I didn't install.  For now, until the next question, Windows Update seems to work normally.

  The 'Ko 0% 0' indicates usually that updates were downloaded already in the system or that they are regulated, and the system is in a Quebec awaiting their download. Because updates are from April of this year, then it must be assumed that it is a new installation or reinstallation of Windows 7.

  For several days, 3 'important' updates are not auto install.  I have been unable to determine why they were not installed or what to do about it.  Manual installation also fails.  They are "KB2952664", "KB3068708" and "Upgrade to Windows 10 Home."  I noticed that this has happened on a fairly recurring basis with other updates, as well, and that sometimes they install successfully (on a later attempt) and sometimes not (for example, "upgrade to Windows 10 Home" has never loaded successfully and trying more load).  Suggestions, anyone?

• Win 10 update coming not for my XPS 15 9530 with Win 8.1

  I'm doing the upgrade of Windows 10 of 8.1 on XPS 15 9530 and I get the error:

  I have the latest from Dell of the NVIDIA GeForce GT 750 M and the Intel HD 4600 Graphics for windows 8.1.

  Dell XPS 15 is supported to win 10 and by NVIDIA, the GT 750 M adapter is supported.

  By the my Dell support page, there is a message that I can go to Windows 10 (your device is ready for Windows 10).

  How can I win 10 on the laptop?  I had tried before and had the same mistakes.  Counted time.

  I'm under Win 8.1. 64 bit on my laptop Toshiba Qosmio F50-10 b and I'm having problems in upgrading my OS to win 10. View Upgrade Advisor I can not upgrade because my NVidia 9700 M GTS graphics card. What would cause problems as giving advice to my screen.
  Then I would ask if someone whit the same problem and what could be the solution. It has to do with the age of my laptop (6 years), with drivers of graphics cards, or with new microsoft OS srecifications? Toshiba will do something on it or its place at Microsoft and N Vidia to solve the problem?

  I can't talk to you much the upgrade of Windows 10 on this model of laptop because Win 10 is not released now... it takes a few days before the official release of Windows 10...
  Also, I guess that after version 10 of Windows, the manufacturers of devices (e.g. nVidia) will release Win 10 drivers too...

  But it is pending if your graphics card will receive the drivers Win 10... We'll see...

  I have a different (X 70A) model that was supposed to support Windows 10 January 2016. I decided to go for it myself using the manual setup - I just went to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows10, downloaded media creation tool has run the tool and chose "upgrade".

  Be warned, however, that things could go wrong, so will any of this, unless you are ready for it (in my case I had all network interfaces fails).

• Portege R700 and dockstation, built-in screen starts black

  My laptop is a R700 with a docking station. Windows 7 x 64.

  If I start laptop anchored, can be seen on the external monitor and the built-in lcd screen.
  If I'm undocked stars, starts windows and lcd goes black. It is out for external monitor if I connect one expiration correct lcd.

  Swtiching function keys doesn´t works, as if undertand lcd is correct (but there is only a black lcd screen).
  Updated to the latest version of the video and to change versions (aug2012) we get the same result: black lcd.

  If uninstall video driver and set the driver standard vga works well, but there is no switching function key to use the external monitor.

  Did anyone here with same problem?

  If the video signal has been set to external monitor using Fn + F5, you will need to use this combination of keys again to return to the internal display.

  I have a R600 running windows 7, every two minutes, I have a display problem where where the vertical pixels seem to get every centimeter unaligned, so my screen seems to blur digital in bars across it.

  I have an external monitor attached and get the same problem with or without him. I have tired the driver of toshiba and intel driver.

  It seems to go away if I have windows min and max, but sometimes it doesn't. If I run my mouse an affected area, that it seems in trouble and sometimes it's not all screen.
