• Installation of legacy Java SE 6 runtime (in order to use Adobe CS5) poses a real risk to safety?

  After the installation of El Capitan, I was prompted to install legacy Java SE 6 to use CS5 applications. I did and CS5 runs.

  My problem is that I have recently become much more security conscious and have read that running Java may pose security risks to my Macbook, and moreover I read on some cases of serious nuisance exploits targeting older versions of Java in recent years that made me uncomfortable.

  I also, despite the presence of Java 6 installed, can't see a preference pane in my settings or any mention of Java in my applications > Utilities folder... don't know if this is normal or not.

  Running Java 6 on my Mac in fact present security risks? Is there anything else I should look out for? Looking for advice please.

  It is not a Prefpane system for Java 6. In the Terminal, type

  Java - v

  and it must respond with what version is installed.

  Apple does not update to Java 6, so there's always a chance, there's a vulnerability that has not been set. You must disable Java plug-in in your browser (no JavaScript). The browser plug-in was what was intended.

• Satellite Pro 4300. Connection battery pos request.

  This laptop works EXCEPT that I had to battery pos. Connector of the PSU cables skt of entry into the connector on the control panel back power from the battery. So it does not load not etc. Still works fine on the external power supply.
  Opens fully - found damage to connecting cables between the battery/HDD Board to the motherboard that I can fix it (due short direct somehow by the previous owner).

  I put t really know what kind of help do you expect. As you know that feeding is a very sensitive area and it should be controlled by technicians because a small mistake can cause with engraving and damaging equipment. Please don t play with him because it is very risky.

  I'm testing the differences in Dynamics POS and product POS of Quicken.  I cannot enter a Datawire identification number in the field, because the field is not enabled.

  Any ideas on how to enable this field?  Everything else seems to be set up correctly and the connectivity test worked fine.

  I have 2003 MICROSOFT STORE OPERATIONS POS V1.2.  It worked fine until the printer had to be changed.  The part of the process that has stopped is the print command to display the amount of the transaction, etc..  The print prompt appears, but YES/ENTER has no result.  There is a solution multistep recalled the transaction where the print command works.

  Unless someone knows a screen to access correct a checkbox, I would find someone in Denver who could check on that and make one on-site.

  Hi Rvallieu, you are right. It is the function that the table has. If you configure the system to work with multiple axes, the Position of the target of the right line to move read/write will have an entry level. This is something that should be mentioned in the help. This was reported to R & D (# 133028) for further investigations.

  THIS IS NUTS!  Just bought this computer and two days its been "updated" ALL THE TIME, more than 200 + "updates" so far, rebooting over and over again, this 64-bit running MUCH slower than the old xp AND I CAN NOT USE ANY OF MY OLD SOFTWARE, BAD BAD BAD I now see that I made a HUGE MISTAKE.  I am the most unfortunate customer with this pos!

We need improve their POS to WE - POS 2009 loan since it is always supported available for 2 or 3 years more.
