  Lack of VMWare VirtualCenter Server 2.5.0.64207 on a Windows 2003 R2 SP2, SQL Server 2005 System. It is the only significant application on the system, and VirtualCenterDB is the only database.

  SQL Agent is part of the SQL Server installation and only would be located on the database server.

• Gateway 12 c for ODBC or SQL Server dates

  I'm having a problem with the dates when selecting a database of SQL Server 2008 R2 via OGW 12 c.

  The two dg4odbc and dg4msql returns data all in Oracle Gateway 11 g R2 works fine! on the same machines with the same configurations.

  Oracle database version is 10.2.0.4 x 64 on windows 2008 r2

  Gateway Windows seems to behave here a little different from the Linux gateway, but I am sure that now you've hit these two related defects 17434002 /17434137.

  ONL Linux normally, you get the error ORA-28528 rather bad content of the message. Windows seems to behave here a little different. But the track and also out of desc as well as the error message when switch to TANK indicate you touch the same question.

  Unfortunately it is currently not yet a fix available. Better would be to file a service request and please ask to get assigned to me (kgronau). I will then connect to the bugs and I can then inform you once the problem is resolved.

• Add the connection fails after you set up for access to SQL Server

  I am under SQL Developer 1.5.5, who installed with Oracle 11.2.0.4 database Client.  I downloaded jdts - 1.3.1.jar and added its location in tools > Preferences > database > Third Party JDBC Driver (add entry) to set up the ability to access SQL Server.  Now I can't have a dialog box open when I try to add connections.  Anyone has any ideas, please?

  1.5.5 is really old.

  The 1.3 jar works with version 4.0 of the SQL Developer.

  You can get the pot 1,2 - I think that it will work with 1.5, or you can obtain a newer version of SQLDev off the coast of the RTO and use the CONTAINER of 1.3. I highly recommend if the latter.

  Andy, one of the developers of my Microsoft sent using a contact of a forum address specialized - they reported an ongoing "maintenance" with the site and sent us the key directly.  This works.

  The real email address that he used is not in my mail to copy, but the friendly display name is 'SSMA for access' - I imagine that in a forum search will yield results.  If not, repost and I'll try and find.

  There seems to be two servers each there own database of base catalogs.

  Its Server1\detail_data Windows then the catalog of the database has many dbs

  Server1\configl_data then the catalog of the database has many dbs

  I can not enter jdbc:weblogic:sqlserver://Server1 \detail_data:1433 or jdbc:weblogic:sqlserver://Server1/detail_data:1433

  No idea on the syntax?  JDBC:WebLogic:SQLServer://Server1:1433 will access the first server, but not the second.

  It works... It seems that the second instnace may as well be port 1433. They do not have to be different ports

• How to create a connection for Toolkit CVI/SQL string when connecting to SQL Server 2008

  I tried to connect to my database of MS SQL Server 2008 for two days using the CVI/SQL Toolbox with no luck.  I use the function of connection BD and I tried a lot of different formats for the connection string with no luck.  I get an error "SQL Server doesn't exist or the access denied" after a long pause, trying to connect.  Anyone know what's the right format for this string?  I even setup of SQL Server on my local machine and I still not able to get the right format for the connection string.

  I have successfully connected to the database, I thank you all for your help.  It was a combination of errors of syntax and configurations that had to be changed.
