positioned subfield wrapped in the subfield flowed not page break

I have a text field in a positioned subform. This subform is in a subform flowed. I want to break to the next page, but it flows just above the bottom of the page without adding a new page and will even over my footer for master page items.

all the elements are configured to allow page breaks. text box is set to allow multiple lines and able to y.

It works when I get rid of the positioned subform, but I want this subform, so I can have other elements side by side with the text field and preserve the layout.

I read here that "the field can be in a positioned subform, but his parent must be sunk (it may be different from the page subform).»

Why is it not this work for me

Here is the link http://www.grantwalker.info/box/test.pdf

Thank you!

The subform without the post title and the box are in must be defined on autofit in their direction on the Layout tab. You set the field to automatic adjustment, but not the subform that it occupies (the positioned subform).

  • Subform flowed not to break properly at a page break

    An example to illustrate my problem is attached.

    The problem:

    I have a positioned subform, allowed page breaks.

    On the right this (main) subform contains an object of expandable text entry (notes), allowed page breaks.

    On the left, it contains a fluid subform, allowed page breaks. This subform contains a subform (step) with an expandable text entry object, allowed page breaks. The user can create copies of the step subform.

    If the user types text in the field notes to force a page break, things work fine. Part of the text can be found on one page, and the rest is on the next page, in the horizontal position (under the text of the previous page).

    However, if the user creates enough copies of the step subform to force a page break, or fills one of the fields not enough to force a page break, all THE steps and the field notes right are sent to the top of the next page.

    How can I force a break to properly distribute the content of the left and right of the main subform portions? In other words, to let the steps on each page and the corresponding part text notes on each page?

    Unfortunately if you break through a page you can't go back and change the layout of a page. If the columns are not independently acting according to your needs for (they are in the subform parent even).

  • Require the function does not page load

    Hello

    I am trying to add a recordset for a page on my site, the wizard in DW.

    I did this perfectly fine, however, when I now try and get an overview of the page, it does not load anything, so I think it's a failure in the 1st line which is: require ('http://www.bhx-birmingham-airport.co.uk/Connections/dest.php');

    , The originally entered this as a virtual Assistant ('http://www.bhx-birmingham-airport.co.uk/Connections/dest.php'); but I changed it it threw an error indicating that the file is not found.

    Any ideas what is happening (or not as the case may be).

    Thank you

    When I now try and get an overview of the page, it doesn't load anything, so I think it's a failure in the 1st line which is: demand ("http://www.bhx-birmingham-airport.co.uk/Connections/dest.php");

    Yes, it would be. The command of PHP require() function takes a relative path to a local file. It cannot be used with a URL. It should be something like this:

    require("../Connections/dest.php");

  • How to prevent the gap after a page break?

    Hello

    When you try to add a page break between the linked pages, I have an annoying problem where the space is added at the top of the new page (see attached screenshot).

    I do not have 'space before' or 'space after' set on the paragraph style where the page break is applied, if it's not that.

    Thank you!

    indes.jpg

    Looks like you used an empty paragraph as a spacer. With the help of the space before or after the space instead of empty paragraphs will prevent the empty space at the top of a column.

  • Why my model created the out of sync page break?

    Hello

    I am relatively new to this, after reading in the classroom in a book on Dreamweaver CS6, I thought I would try my own Web site.

    I ' relatively simple and there are only 4 pages derived a model.

    3 pages look good and jump from one to the other while is precisely recorded.

    1 page however refuses to play ball and is horizontally out of register with the other 3 pages - it moves about 3 mm to the left

    I isolated it as being down to the text in the main editable region. If I remove a paragraph (any one), she returned to be in the registry with the other pages.

    When you create the template itself I gave lesser amounts of text in situ in the editable area so that I could just cut and paste it, I also did it for the title which seems to work well.

    Below is the code from a code of the home page which is fine and the problem on the graphic Communication page

    Also attached link to site that is hosted outside (set up by someone who knows what they are doing)

    Any help would be welcome

    Normally, you would have an external stylesheet for your site. Each page is linked to this style sheet.

    In your case, you put style rules in the document, which is Ok except when it comes to maintenance.

    To answer your question, place the code just above the rules of body style as in

    html {
      overflow-y:scroll;
    }

    body {
      background-color: #000;
      text-align: center;
      margin: 0px;
      padding: 0px;
      color: #EEE;
    }

    If you have no plans to use the external style sheet, the rule for the html will not negatively affect other pages.

  • Alignment of the column on a page break

    With the help of these forums, I am very close to having a perfect shape. It flows, it adds and removes subforms.  There are two text fields that can grow inside the subform.  Unfortunately, if the text field on the right is longer that the one on the left and crosses a page break, the information moves above the left side of the page. How can I keep it on the right?

    what text you enter the subform correctly, breaks may be your missing something somewhere. You can even check the attached form.

  • Impossible to play the audio clips on the site. Click - page breaks.

    I'm playing the audio clips, sounds, dolphins (several sites) online site. Example: http://www.dolphinencounters.com/family-dolphinsounds.php#

    There is a small icon of ear for each clip. When I FIRST tried to read a clip, I got a "Quick Time plugin crashed" at the top of the page. Tried several times, same result.

    I went to TOOLS > OPTIONS > Applications tab. Given that I did not know what type of file format / clips have been, I found ALL the entries related to QuickTime and select the default setting or a different type of player. Restarted.

    When I tried this time, I still have collision warning. I double checked to make sure that QT all apps have gone and DISABLED by the plug-in page QT Extensions. Restarted.

    This time when I clicked on the icon of the ear, no sound is played, but the page pops up.

    Checked the settings/sound engineer. All OK. Updated QT for the last 7 and updated version to update system. No sound, no warning, page a few jumps.

    Other applications in the system plays its OK. Able to play videos in line with the sound. Just the noise / icon does not work.

    I would like to hear AND capture/download the sounds of dolphins. What is the problem with my system/FF 12.0? How can I fix it? How can I download?

    I tried to read the link to the icon to see the type of audio file, so I could access the issue more closely, but all links of clip are still with no recognized sound file format. Example: http://www.dolphinencounters.com/family-dolphinsounds.php#

    There are several elements on the page, but the links are all exactly as above.

    It has been long and there are probably several versions of FF as well as earlier versions of Windows, I remember listening and capture of the audio clips. Just do not remember how I did at the time.

    Win7 64 bit, 12.0 FF, QT 7 plug.

    It may be the prolongation of the QT interval, because the problem persists with all Applications QT, deleted or not, everything seems fine. No trainer, etc. No warning.

    I tried using IE and played clips, but WITHOUT my click the icon; they played just in overview. See still no way to capture or download and know that there is one somewhere.

    Hey ccorazza, you did so well with my last, have a curtain call repeat for this one? Thank you all.

    Hey, GreyWolf, sorry for the late reply. Didn't see your message until today.

    I was unable to get sound to play on this page too, but I got confused because it's an old version and I don't want to upgrade to the new version of QuickTime. But I'll test it on another PC with a Quicktime update.

    But after checking the file type, sounds, I see that they are .wav files. These files are usually played by Windows Media Player. So check to see if you can set the type of .wav file in the Tools > Options > Applications tab for Windows Media Player. Restart Firefox to see if the new change works.

    Also, I could find the urls for the files Dolphin audio so you can download them:

    You should be able to make links a right-click and choose Save the link under.

    How I found the links was I clicked on some empty page and chose to view the Page Source. A new window opens, I searched the word whistle then I copied the sounds/whistler.wav of the url part and added to http://www.dolphinencounters.com/.

    What other sites you have the problem with? I try to take a look at those and see if I can find a better answer for why this is happening.

  • "Allow Page breaks in the content" is grayed out on the subform. Any parent not there subform.

    Hello

    I try to get the text, which was placed near the end of a page, to break to a new page, but I can't get this to work.

    I have a subform, called FOOTER_TEXTS, and containing 3 text fields, just below and outside the content area of 'HAND' and just above a fixed (static) subform called COMPANY_FOOTER.

    The JavaScript code you see is just there to make sure FOOTER_TEXTS is printed only on the last page.

    I have all 3 text fields in FOOTER_TEXTS the value "Allow multiple lines" and the height is set to "Expand to fit" but the ability to "Allow Page breaks in the content" is gray in the subform and all 3 text fields, with result the text in the COMPANY_FOOTER subform are overwritten.

    What I would like is the 3 fields of FOOTER_TEXTS text to be printed on the bottom of the last page, just above the COMPANY_FOOTER subform, and I want the text to break to a different page, if necessary.

    Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get this to work?

    Thank you in advance.

  • How to extend the text on several pages in 9

    My form is long and a section of the Master Page will be text with no shape field, but the text is 10 + pages, depending on the version of the terms and conditions described.  In this link, http://forums.adobe.com/message/5112687, there are a lot of discussions about how to accomplish in 8.2, but how I would accomplish in 9?  I wish I could paste pages 10 + and automatically do master stream for this section of the Page. Have tried to place a text field and also tried a text in a fluid subform, assigning several lines, keep later, but is not only of course how to set up properly.  I see the sign at the bottom of the text box, but when I saw it, it does not flow to the other pages.  Hoped to avoid setting up 10 + pages in the form, from the time these terms are updated, and it would be much faster to just be able to copy and paste from Word in a correctly set text field or subform.  Hope that makes sense and to appreciate all the advice, thank you.

    1. Get your text in Word (or anywhere where you want to change the text so that it looks right).
    2. Open a document in LiveCycle (a new one if you are starting from scratch, in any case)
    3. Select your subform page1, set the content to be Flowed (allow page breaks automatically).
    4. Add a text field (make sure it is listed under this subform page1).
    5. Change the position of the legend to zero text box and make sure allow multiple lines is verified (as well as allow page breaks). Expand a height fixed auto
    6. Click the default value for the text field. Paste this 9 page document inside.
    7. Wait a few seconds (or minutes) for LiveCycle catch up.
    8. Listen to samples and enjoy your new document with several pages paged automatically for you.
  • Page subform must be sunk for the content on the page other subform extend over a page break?

    I have content problems span page breaks.  For example, I ran a positioned subform encapsulated in a subform.  I tried different combinations of the parameters "Allow page in the content breaks" for subforms.  However, I can't get content in subforms extend across a page break, if I set the page itself to slur subform.  I prefer not to do, because it requires substantially more work on the page of design.  It is essential that the page itself subform the value passed for the content span a page break?  If there is a resource that deal with this specific subject please report it me.  Thank you.

    If an object should allow page breaks then all parents direkt Hat also for this purpose.

    For example: If the nested subform 'subform1_2_1' should allow pauses while her parents must be passed and allow page breaks too.

  • A text will not wrap around the object. Some does. Anyone?

    I worked in InDesgin (currently the CS6 for Mac) for many years. I'm not an expert, but fairly well-versed and comfortable with the program. I think I know almost everything about the wrapping of text and its options and how it works. But it drives me crazy.

    I have an imported MSWord part of the text. I have an item I want to insert in the text. Normal procedure. Easy. But this text will NOT wrap around the object. What about other texts? Yes. Other text in the document wrap around that object even very well.

    I rebooted the computer and the program. Check the settings as much as I can think and even spruced up the document from scratch as a MS Word document. Yet, no film.

    This happened to someone? What is going on? Help.

    Check the options of text block for the text that will not wrap. Ignore text dresses it is checked?

  • signal flow 5641R to the disk could not be demodulated correctly

    Hello

    I did an IQ file, which is a signal with PN9, QPSK Gray, the file is OK, IQ sampler rate is 3.75 MHz

    I use the sample 5641R driver, "5641R stream from the disc", to transmit the file IQ, the frequency is 20 MHz, IQ for DAC rate is 3.75 MHz

    on the AO Port, I got the spectrum of the signal, is good.but, when I démodulés the AO port signal, the result is not good, is not the PN9.

    What is the reason? Who can help me for this?

    Thank you!

    Hello

    I have a few questions for you:

    1. Can you tell us how you saved the original file?

    2. Have you used the example of 'stream 5641r to disk?

    3. Could not attach the file registered on this forum?

    4. To create the PN9, QPSK Gray, signal you use the NI Modulation Toolkit?

    5. You read the signal on the channel of AI 5641r return?

    6. Otherwise, what is the source that you are reading the signal?

    7. You mentioned that your IQ rate is 3.75 MECH. / s, is this OK?

    8. What is the frequency?

    Best regards

  • Repeat the field values by repeating the header (flowed subform)

    I have a request form which consists of three main sections - a header, a table of details, and a footer.

    The Details table must be able to expand to fit, which means that the form should be able to escape on a second page. All the fields in the header must repeat on the second page. The footer should only appear once, at the bottom of the table of details, not repeated on each page.

    After much tinkering with flowed and positioned subforms, I've got this work with the Details table inside a subform sank, with a subform positioned in the lines of header and footer in the table. I suspect that this is not the 'proper' way, but it's the only way I could make it work.

    So my head joyfully repeats on the second page, but the values typed in the first page header fields do not appear on the second page. The user must be able to change the header on any page and all pages update headers.

    Can someone please point me to a tutorial or give me an idea of what code would accomplish this? I don't know how to reference the field repeated to set its value.

    If I do it is crazy, and there is a better way, it would be good to know too. I use es2

    Set the binding for the fields in the header 'Use of global data' - on the binding of the object palette tab.
